Cons: None at all.

Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339
Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339

Pros: Worked great (As far as I could tell) for about a year. MacBook Pro, early 2011, 2GHZ 15".

Cons: Started getting frequent crashes with RAM - heavy drum plugins on my audio software. Tested RAM with Rember and got consistent Data Mismatch errors. Will try to get a replacement from G.Skill.

Running Great in 2011 MacBook Pro

G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-8GBSQ
G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-8GBSQ

Pros: Running great in my 15" 2011 quad core MacBook Pro. No problems. Very happy with I went with these sticks. Tried a competitors RAM first, had frequent Kernel Panics and sent it back. But the G.Skill has been running well.

Cons: None at all.

Very good.

Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 100 Black 102 Normal Keys USB RF Wireless Standard Keyboard and Mouse
Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 100 Black 102 Normal Keys USB RF Wireless Standard Keyboard and Mouse

Pros: Keyboard feels awesome. Keys have a short travel distance from up to down, but have excellent tactile feel as well. This makes it easy on the fingers, as they don't need to do as much work. Range is good (read the Other Thoughts section). I primarily use this keyboard now as a wireless control for my audio workstation. It works excellent if I'm across the room, as I have all my controls right there, no cables draped across the room either.

Cons: Mouse tracking is inaccurate. The mouse pointer will stop a moment after you stop, making you sometimes miss what you were trying to point at. Also, I find wireless mice very heavy and they put a strain on my wrist after not too long. Because of this I rarely use the mouse, and still depend on my trusty old Logitech wired optical mouse.

Overall Review: I wanted to update my review. After owning this for about a year and a half I've noticed a few things. Range can be limited if the batteries are not brand new. Originally, with the included batteries, I was limited to a 3-4' range. With brand new batteries I get closer to 8-10'. It may be that one just needs to make sure there are fresh batteries in at all times, and if you notice a decrease in range, change those batteries. Worked for me.

Very pleased with this monitor

Acer H233Hbmid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 40000:1 (ACM) Built in Speakers
Acer H233Hbmid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 40000:1 (ACM) Built in Speakers

Pros: Looks great. Picture is very nice. I feel like it could maybe be a little better, but I'm pushing it with an older card (Nvidia 7300 LE), so maybe a better card would give me better results. Either way I'm very happy and feel no need to get a new card right now. I love the touch controls. They were weird the first few times I used them then once I got used to it, I like them a lot. The monitor is really nice looking overall, and I love that the menu keys are lit up with a nice soft white/blue glow. Very bright monitor. Also very stable. I've seen other folks mention it's wobbly, but I don't agree. I have mine on a Staples 5' banquet table that serves as my desk. It's an audio workstation, so I have drum pads that sit on my desk that I found with my fingers and I still don't see that monitor move much if at all. Comes with every cable you will need to hook it up, very nice. The biggest plus is it set right up with my older Nvidia card with no problem.

Cons: One issue I've seen other people mention is the buzzy/hum this monitor will give you if you turn the Brightness down anywhere lower than around 88. It's true. Mine does it. And it's a nasty high-pitched whine. For me, 88 is probably the first number where it's completely gone. I just leave it at 90, which is pretty bright. Fortunately, my Nvidia drivers let me turn the brightness down from there, so I found a way around it. Other that that one lousy aspect of it, very good monitor. I haven't tried the speakers, and probably never will, so I don't really care whether they sound good or not. Maybe someday I'll need to find out, but I doubt it.

Overall Review: This monitor replaced an Acer 17" 4:3 monitor, and wow what a difference. This monitor is on a Pro Tools audio workstation, and having that extra screen real estate for working in the software is excellent. Don't underestimate the human tendency to want more and more though. Once I got a tasts of the 1920x1080 rez, I instantly wanted dual monitors. Luckily for my wallet I don't have the desk space at the moment for that.

Very good.

SAMSUNG USB 2.0 Black External 22X DVD Burner Model SE-S224Q
SAMSUNG USB 2.0 Black External 22X DVD Burner Model SE-S224Q

Pros: Looks nice. Nice and big. I like big. It's not a portable, it sits on my desk in my recording studio. Burns fast. Burns well so far. Very happy.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Overall Review: I have this hooked up through a Rosewill powered USB hub, that also has plugged into it a USB Wireless net adapter, a 250GB external hard drive, a USB mouse, a USB wireless mouse and keyboard, and still works great. This is in a recording studio where the computer is in a closet. I was getting sick of going into the closet every time I needed to burn a CD or install software with the internal DVD burner. It's the little things in life, but my life just got a lot easier with this external burner sitting right there on my desk within arms reach. Now burning off a quick mix of my lastest project isn't such a pain.
