Pros: This drive is working perfectly. I ripped it out of the shell and used it as my drive instead of buying a bare drive since it was cheaper. Its 7200 rpm which is what i wanted.
Overall Review: For those not destroying the shell the USB3 is great for transfer
Good Paste Bad Packaging
Pros: i7-2700k idles around 38 degrees with a Cooler Master Hyper N 520 Heatsink after the paste sat in. There is enough paste to last you a decade if your building computers every month.
Cons: The tip came broken, as did everyone elses. Because of this there is no way to cap the tube. You can just wrap a paper towel or something around it and secure it with a rubber band.
Great feature loaded budget board
Pros: Every feature I need on a motherboard for a low price compared to other boards in the same performance bracket. I'm running a i7-2700k and a GTX680, both performing perfectly stable in this board. The manual has everything you'll need to know regarding installation. Diagnosing problems is simple with the LED number display on the board that will flash you an error code if it needs to. It has plenty of fan connectors and SATA ports. The 24pin and 8pin power connectors as well as the Case headers are conveniently placed out of the way, unlike some boards I've seen. Since I have a Sandy Bridge CPU I can't take advantage of the new features, but it still runs very fast. Boot times are around 20 seconds with my Vertex3 SSD. This is an all around great bang for your buck board. You can't compete with any other for $130.
Cons: If aesthetics are your thing, the board is ever so slightly brown. Unless your internals are heavily illuminated or looks do matter, it's fine.
Overall Review: Not of all the XFastBlahBlah software, but in the driver disc they don't try to cram it down your throat like other companies do.
Pros: Extremely fast, as it's supposed to be. The Windows 7 install took less than 5 minutes. I have Photoshop CS6 installed on this drive and it boots in around 5 seconds. SSDLife (monitoring program) rates this drive to last until January 19th, 2022. This is very fast and highly recommended.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I bought this on sale at $90, great bang for your buck. This was my first SSD purchase and I was highly pleased.
Pros: They fit very snug and are pretty beefy. Very well built.
Overall Review: With all the different things I run I was down to my last power cable, which had a terrible plug. If you barely moved the cable while it was plugged in you could here it zap somewhat and it would kill the power for a second. I was making a big purchase so I decided to throw in a couple of these power cords and they are working just great.
