Pros: I bought the CLATINA Ergonomic Big & Tall Executive Office Chair from the same company. They sell that chair on New Egg as well. I decided to treat myself to a little add on when I saw it on here. Glad I bought it. Kinda a tight fit around this huge chair, but it Velcros on to its own wrap around straps. Make my lower back feel better in the chair. The whole set up was a birthday present to myself. Glad I made some good choices in this purchase.
Cons: None, seems to work well in supporting my lower back in the chair.
Overall Review: This should fit any office type chair , executive to manager. If your lower back is in pain, get you one.
Pros: Big man chair, beefy build quality. Fairly easy to build, comes with instructions and tool required for build. The arms move up and down. Fabric instead of that leather that starts to peel with age. The cushion is a bit hard, but that is good , feels good on the lower back when leaning back. The arms are sturdy. The price I paid for this chair. The grey color, it literally goes with anything.
Cons: The arms do not go inwards or outwards, they do but you would have to use the allen key. They don't go in enough as well, spaced too far apart for my liking. I would have liked to be able to move the chair into the desk. Hence the one star removed, yes it was kinda important to me.
Overall Review: For the price I paid and the quality of this chair really I have no complaints. Offers enough features for comfort. The shipping speed was way off. It was supposed to take a way longer time to receive it. My wife had to roll the box up the apartment stairs by herself because I was at work. So expect a very fast delivery, I was planning it for a week I was off of work to receive it. So far I am enjoying the chair very much and glad I got a new chair. If you're a big guy, you should like what you get for the price you pay. I'm glad I got it from Newegg , large enough selection to choose from. I really wanted a nice fabric big man chair and not leather. I am very torn about taking away the one star, but I have my reason and have to stand by it.
Pros: Easy to use, got it on sale. Bought 1 for each of my computers. Tried to give 5 stars but it wouldn't let me. Oh well.
Overall Review: Get it on sale if you could.
Overall Review: I needed a small drive to toss into my wireless router's USB share port. Wanted a cheap NAS drive, don't really need a ton of storage. Looked on Newegg and found this one, read the reviews , all good. This little USB drive works great! Get you one!
Pros: Best when on sale! Just built a new PC and Bought this from New egg! Perfect timing, it was on sale. So far I like this Bitdefender AV.
Overall Review: My new go to AV.
Pros: Price per performance is a win on this one.
Cons: Paired nice with a B560M motherboard.
Overall Review: Great upgrade, fun building a new PC from scratch.
Pros: Free with purchase.
Cons: Cheap junk
Overall Review: Looks cheap , feels cheap, it's cheap. Not for everyday use.
Pros: Paired this motherboard up with a Intel 11500. 2 Samsung Pro's M.2 drives, 1 being 4.0 1TB the other 3.0 256GB. Tossed in my older 1070 GTX FTW2 for time being. Corsair AIO 120. Win 10 home. 750 power supply. Very fast budget PC indeed. Paid for next day shipping and Newegg got it to me next day.
Cons: None, very happy with this build.
Overall Review: First mico ATX I ever built. I won't be going back to full ATX anymore. No overclock needed, runs great! Love the army green color! The B560M paired with a non K processor saved me some cash to put towards other quality components.
Pros: Try to grab one on sale and save some money. I rather use these cards ( digital ) than use my credit card on Xbox.
Cons: Might take a night but you should get it by morning. Depends I guess. I've got the code within an hour to within a half day.
Overall Review: These care great to get on sale. Sometimes they offer some cash off.
Pros: Went from 4GB to 8 GB of RAM , easy to install and a much needed performance boost.
Price was good for this upgrade.
Overall Review: I installed a 240GB Adata SSD in her laptop along with this RAM chip. Big improvement in boot time, access times.
If you have a wimpy laptop like my wife had, install some extra RAM and an SSD and you will see and feel the difference in its use. It was well worth the total $100 upgrade for both RAM and SSD. The laptop is now a pleasure to use.
Pros: Nice warm glow just like the old incandescent bulbs. No mercury
in these bulbs like those spiral CFL bulbs. I was very impressed with these. I replaced all my CFL bulbs with these when Newegg had a sale on them.
Cons: These can be VERY pricey if they are not on sale.
Overall Review: Going to buy more of these when they are on sale again. Going to give a bunch of them to my parents who use CFL. I collected all my old CFL bulbs and I am going to bring them to Lowes, they have a recycle bin for them. Mercury is bad. CFL bulbs don't really last that long, I do hope that these do. I also hope that these can stand the moisture in my bathroom when I shower, the CFL bulbs again did not do too well.
All in all I highly recommend these great light bulbs.
Pros: Design, feel, wow so nice.
Cons: Piece of junk, will fall apart within 3 hours of owning it. Adult owned and not abused, keys will fall off. Total loss for IOGear. My wife called IOGear, they said we can pay to ship it to them to replace it or return it to the store. I already paid too much for trash, not paying to ship it to them. Returned to store for full refund. Bought another keyboard from that popular company that makes keyboards and mice and know what they are doing. The keyboard is called a K400 and has real good ratings and it made better.
Overall Review: Wow what a piece of junk! I did not buy it from NE I got it from a store instead. I did pay double what NE is asking too, still not worth it at half the price. If they gave this keyboard away for free just keep walking.
In the store my wife and I looked for a nice keyboard mouse all in one for our entertainment center. I saw this one and fell in love with it. The layout, the size , the features all A+. Wow just look at this thing , the roller ball and trigger in the corner and the scroll wheel in the other. What is this thing I thought, it's like a giant game pad that was made for me. The feel of it just felt good too. This keyboard is VERY deceiving.
We decided to take a walk to where they sell computers. We did a search, saw reviews on NE. No I said , can't be, this keyboard rocks. NE had ALL BAD REVIEWS! I still did not listen and bought it anyway.
Got home, typed with it a bit and the Back-Space key fell off. Returned to store next day. GKM581R = junk
Pros: Bought for my BB Curve, needed a cheap replacement for a Micro SDHC that went kaput. 7.4GB fastest speed for me was about 5.4MB a second. Was the cheap card with the most ratings, guess that is why I got it.
Overall Review: Buy it.
Pros: Really fast in my Samsung Droid Charge. My phone came with a 16GB Class4 card. So I decided to get this card from Newegg when it went on sale. Well I lucked out, I shot the lock off my wallet and bought myself a little Christmas gift. Man I transferred a 2G file to this card and got a 15.8MB speed rating. So yeah I'm happy now.
Cons: I give 2 stars to newegg shipping. This is very unlike newegg, normally they ship very quickly. I normally get what I ordered from them within 2 business days or the very next day.
I did use the chat feature they have and talked to a rep. They said that the card was in transit. The rep gave me a link to check and it was past the point where my invoice told me it was. So maybe it was DHL or the post office that deserves the 2 stars. Does not matter, I was nervous and worried about my new card being lost.
Overall Review: If you need a faster or higher capacity card for your phone or tablet, maybe even camera buy this one. Very pleased so far with this card.
I did read a mix of reviews about this card and was very skeptical about the purchase. I hope this card lasts.
Oh and if you do buy this card, buy it from Newegg.
Pros: Wow, nice upgrade from my old DLink Dir-655 , I see the difference. Everything feels more snappy. I really like my new E4200.
Setup was a piece of cake, all my devices saw this router no problem. It has guest access as well, simply wonderful.
I used the CD to configure, yes I can go through the IP and open up the browser config, but no need.
I did find it a lot cheaper somewhere else, a popular auction site. I got mine refurb and love it. Saved me some cash as well. But if your not into the refurb stuff then buy it here. Cheapest you will find for brand new.
Cons: Is there really a big difference in the V2 model of this thing? I doubt it.
Overall Review: If your looking for a new, faster ,sleeker router then go for it. I did and I'm glad I did. I might donate my old DLink to my dad for his setup. Maybe I will just keep it or sell it on CL. Either way I win.
Pros: Nice mouse for about a year, after that things will get broken.
Cons: A lot of cash for bad quality.
Overall Review: I upgraded to this mouse about a year ago. I decided to put my old faithful MX 518 to rest. So I thought I would upgrade to this bad boy, my mistake. The LED for the DPI setting went out about in to 2 months of ownership. About 19 months after that the left click button would double click very fast when only clicked once. Out in the garbage it went.
Went to my local PC store and picked up a MX 518 and fell in love once again.
Pros: Cheap, 3 feet is all I needed. Yeah I could have got a 6' usb wire for the same price, but not needed.
Cons: Took a long time for me to receive. Would have been faster if they shipped it USPS.
Pros: Easy setup with windows 7. Didn't bother with the software that came with the cam. Just plugged into an available usb port and it worked. The microphone is amazing, sound is clear and loud compared to my old 3.5mm stick mic. As for the cam the picture is clear and crisp, way better frame rates compared to my old Logitech camera.
Cons: The cord could be 3' longer.
Overall Review: I find the base of the cam to be perfect. I can hang it on top of my LCD screen or with a bend here and there I can put it under my monitor. I read that people are complaining about the base of the cam. I like it just the way it is, works perfect for me in every way.
If you have on old web cam then I would highly recommend the upgrade to this one. If you have a bit more cash on you then go with even a higher end one of these. For me this was perfect, I really like the mic on it even more than the cam itself. But that's because I use the mic more than the cam. When I need the cam I know I have a top notch cam to use to talk to family and friends. The cam works wonderful on Skype.
Pros: Well, to be honest I liked the size of this keyboard. It's not very big and I don't use the wrist rest that came with it. This alone is great for me because it gives my desk more room for my mouse and mouse pad. I like the color of the glow the keys produce. Blue, red, purple or none these are your choices. USB connect with about a 6' cord, reached my pc no problem. Has a 3.5mm mic and headphone jack plus 1 USB port in front of the keyboard, nice feature. I will try my earbuds ( skullcandy ) that have a short cable with that input. Seems sturdy and built fairly well. Keys feel nice when pressed. Programing the macro keys are just fantastic! As normal, Newegg got me the best price for the item with free shipping. I orderd it Monday morning they shipped it that afternoon and I recieved it Tuesday before lunch time. Thats fast! Just doesn't pay for me to go to the local store and pay more for it and pay for travel, lol wonderful.
Cons: Angle of the keyboard, it could be a little more tilted for me. This could be an easy fix with some rubber blocks and some glue. But yeah even with the little feet pulled down the keyboard sits very straight on the desk.
I don't use the wrist rest, but yeah it's just a cheap plastic add on that attaches to the front.
No brightness control over the colors, would like to make them a little more brite. Also the letters on the keys seem small, they could be bigger. They do seem a bit blury too, maybe this is because of the glow? The volume wheel seems a bit slow, maybe there is something in the keyboard software to speed it up a notch. Alot of spin for little changeof higher or lower levels of volume.
Overall Review: I bought this keyboard to play Darkfall with, with all the clicking and what not that you have to do in the game I was sold with the extra macro keys. Also I liked the fact that the keyboard is illuminated so I can see the keys at night. I didn't bother with the enclosed CD that came with the keyboard. I just went to the Logitech website and downloaded the latest software from there.
Pros: Cheap, vertical boom, no annoying lights, crystal clear sound in games and on yahoo/msn or anything that deals with voice. 3.5mm plug, on off switch. Does not take allot of desk space.
Cons: Didn't pay allot of money for it, maybe if I over paid for it I would think it was the best thing since sliced bread. But I didn't, it was cheap. All in all I'm very happy with this little cheap mic. So no cons.
Overall Review: I's a mic, it's cheap. Thankfully it has no stupid glowing or blinking @#$% lights on it! This little mic sits nicely on my desk hidden out of site. It picks my voice up very clearly when I play any game. It sounds just fine if I where in a chat room on-line or made a phone call. Never had anyone complain. You do and should tweak your mic in your " control panel / hardware sound " settings, play around with it till you get it just rite. I can't believe people give it one star, lol. If you have a clue and a little time and patience you can set it up so that it's perfect. I've had this mic now for over a year.
Pros: Yeah, had Vista on 3 of my computers. Upgraded all 3 to Windows 7. If it where no good why would I install 7 on all my computers? Because it's better.
Cons: It cost me money. But Neweggs emails with coupons cut the cost for me. If you don't recieve Neweggs emails your doing something wrong.
Overall Review: The last system I did a full install of Windows 7 on was my 15" Gateway laptop I use as a HTPC. I installed a SSD drive on it and man does it fly. It's like a whole new laptop. Windows 7 did everything for me, installed all the drivers. Went from Vista32 to 7 64. Do it if you haven't already! Yeah it's worth it.
Pros: Real fast, bootup and shut down. Snappy quick program installs and program starts. Very pleased so far with this SSD. I had to install this in my Gateway FX laptop, I use this laptop as an HTPC. I did a clean install of Windows 7 on it. Downloaded and installed the updates in no time, thanks to my increased bandwidth from Cablevision 30DL / 5UL . Installed Avast antivirius and Ccleaner and thats about it. Did it so fast. Love it! Snappy HTPC woot!!!
Cons: I really bought this for my Gateway FX6710-01 desktop. It's about 2 years old now. I had problems with it, the BIOS saw the drive, but Win 7 would not install to it. Tried clone, nothing. Booted up with my old 750hdd and saw the new drive no problem. Just windows would not do a freash install on it. I knew it was not the SSD fault, just an older motherboard that couldn't do it even with the lateset BIOS update. So if you have an older Gateway FX, this SSD may not be for you.
Overall Review: I asked my wife if she wanted it in her Gateway FX 17" laptop, she started to complain and cry. OK I decided to put it in my Gateway FX 15" laptop that I use for a HTPC hooked up to my 42" LCD with HDMI. It had Windows Vista 32 on it with a 320G HDD. Yanked that out and shoved this bad boy in it. Windows 7 installed on it no problem at all. WOW what a difference! Boot up is insane compared to what it was before. Installed allmy updates lickity split, Avast, Ccleaner and Divx codec. I did this all in no time. Now I just got to buy another copy of Win 7 64 so I can get the serial number and register it. I used my desktops Win 7 disk, it's OEM. Looks like I will order a copy soon from Neweggs.
So my wife watched me as I installed it and did everything real quick, she saw how fast it booted up and shut down. How snappy it became. Guess she should have never started to cry and complain. Oh well. Like the saying goes, you snooze you loose.
Pros: Love it, fully customizable with the software. Love the weights you can add to make it feel even more beefy. Lots of buttons, with the software the game will reconize the mouse settings. So happy.
Cons: kinda pricey but worth it
Overall Review: My 518 MX still was working after so many years of abuse. I just wanted a new up to date mouse, glad I made the switch. Keep my old 518 as a spare or in case one of my famliy or friends needs it.
Pros: plug and play for Win 7, works like a chram. Win 7 took care of the drivers for me.
Cons: It cost me some money.
Overall Review: I live in an apartment complex, if needed I can get free wifi when I want. This D-Link works very very very well, even though I droped it a dozen or so times. Made sturdy enough for me.
Pros: So far so good, I'm really enjoying this gem of a game. I have not tried MP as of yet. Single player rocks! Been having a ton of fun with Wolfenstein. For me the graphics are perfect. Game play is smooth as silk, the story line keeps you going and the cut scenes are fantastic! This is how games used to be, fun. Love being able to go into the veil mode. I also downloaded a patch for the game, I believe it was 1.2 and that was easy enough. I've been playing the game with my Bose headphones and man does it sound good. The way the Nazis die is just wonderful, and I want my Nazis scalps! Love hunting for gold and other stuff, I like the black market too where you can upgrade weapons. The music just rocks when your playing, you can turn it off if you wish. The game is a bit older now and I bought it for a fairly cheap price. Well worth it.
Cons: For me none, I have other games I can play on line with so if I can sit back and enjoy the STORY of this game I will. I'll try on line game play when I'm done with the campaign and I'll see how it goes.
I'm not too into the doors in the game closing shut, sometimes it's just a pain but not that much of a con.
Overall Review: I have a very bad head cold, and I'm on stacation. This game brings me back to the time of DooM and RTCW. Perfect for my rainy head cold stacation. I did download the demo on my Xbox 360, yeah it was fun but it is a FPS game. IMO FPS and PC just go hand in hand, thats why I bought the PC version and not the Xbox 360 version. Not that the Xbox was not fun, just for me the PC version I can just use the mouse to aim allot better. It's sad that allot of other gamers are giving this game a low score due to on line play. I was playing Farcry 2 and just got so bored with it, this game is way more exciting running around the German town creating havoc. My setup is about 2 years old now.
Quad core 2.66GHz (Q9400)
EVGA GTX 260 ( 896M )
8 Gig RAM
WIN 7 HOME
23" LCD Monitor ( Gateway )
Bose headphones ( the real light weight ones ) love em!
