ASRock VISION HT 321B Intel HM77 1 x HDMI Barebone
ASRock VISION HT 321B Intel HM77 1 x HDMI Barebone

Pros: Small Powerful Supports all BluRay sound formats Quiet

Cons: Documentation could be better

Overall Review: Solved my keyboard problem and Win7 x64 installed. It scores a respectable 5.9 on Windows Experience index. It will become my HTPC this weekend, taking over from a Dell ZinoHD.

Most Critical Review

Can't get a keyboard to be recognized

ASRock VISION HT 321B Intel HM77 1 x HDMI Barebone
ASRock VISION HT 321B Intel HM77 1 x HDMI Barebone

Pros: Looks good on paper

Cons: Won't recognize a generic USB keyboard, so I can't get past the ASrock splash screen on boot up

Overall Review: If there's a trick to making a USB keyboard work, it's entirely undocumented in the user guide

Nicely put together

ASRock VISION HT 321B Intel HM77 1 x HDMI Barebone
ASRock VISION HT 321B Intel HM77 1 x HDMI Barebone

Pros: Great HTPC

Cons: Attaching a second hard drive could be easier

Overall Review: I'm really impressed now, this does a great job of playing back anything I through at it. The only downside is the slow (5400 RPM) hard drive which really slows boot time. If you are considering this, then add (if you are going to run Win7) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171667 It transforms performance. The only downside as it stands, is that adding a second 2.5" drive requires dismounting both the BluRay drive and the preinstalled drive, and the screw mounts for the Bluray drive are VERY fiddly to get to. If ASROCK are listening, can I suggest you change the build at the factory so that the preinstalled hard drive is on the bottom of the drive carrier, as this would simplify things a lot.
