-Works exactly as expected
Overall Review: Bought this to upgrade the RAM in a 2008 iMac that was given to me and it works absolutely flawlessly. I would definitely purchase NEMIX memory in the future.
Pros: -Low Price, especially if you find it on sale
-Enough power for nearly any singular CPU/GPU combo
-80+ Gold efficiency
-Comes in cool package
Cons: -Second GPU power cable is a little short, it still fits my and reaches the plug on my GPU, but it's close
Overall Review: So far this power supply has performed absolutely wonderfully. I use it with an AMD FX 8350 cpu and a Radeon RX 580 gpu on a Biostar TA970 mobo with no hiccups whatsoever. My computer runs constantly as it runs programs when I'm not using it, and shown no issues yet as of 6 months. The cables look nice and the fact that it's modular means that I don't have as many cables to manage. 10/10 would buy again!
Pros: 1. It has a really slick clean look
2. With the power supply chamber and back panel, it provides outstanding cable management.
3. Good sturdy build quality and very light weight makes it easy to move.
4. The included LED fans work well and are very bright making the case look really good when on.
5. The whole side panel is a window.
Cons: 1. The side panel is kind of cheap feeling because of the plastic, but still not too bad, especially considering the price.
2. There is only a small air intake at the bottom of the front. So far this hasn't been an issue, but I'm considering making a few additional openings on the sides of the front to promote air flow. This is the single reason for 4 eggs instead of 5.
Overall Review: The window is tinted pretty dark. I was aware it was tinted, but I didn't think it would be that dark so I was a little disappointed initially, however that gives the computer a nice clean black look and has grown on me somewhat.
Pros: -Solid performance at an affordable price
-High clock speed
-Set up for easy overclocking in the future
Cons: It's hard to say that these are truly cons due to the fact that these are no fault of the processor design, but I'll put them here:
-Maxes out and lags when trying to play and stream Overwatch, Halo 5 Forge, and other demanding games (although I would never expect that performance from a processor at this price point)
-Limits you to the AM3 socket type when the AMD AM4 socket type is right around the corner (again, nothing wrong with this processor, but if you can wait a little bit I recommend it. If you need a computer now, then this is an excellent choice)
Overall Review: This product gives solid performance at a low price compared to an Intel equivalent. I was comparing this product to 6th generation Intel Core i3 processors, and I found that even the i3 was at a significantly higher price point. I use this product in a budget gaming build and it runs every game I throw at it on MAX settings at 1080p. However, I can't stream demanding games using this CPU, but that's to be expected at the price point, if I had expected that, I would've bought something more powerful. The only down side to this processor is that upgrading from it limits you to the AM3 socket when the new AMD AM4 socket is coming out soon. If you're looking for bang for your buck, I'd start here. If you're looking for the most powerful thing out there, I'd look elsewhere or wait for the new AMD Ryzen chips that are coming out in a month or two.
Pros: -120GB SSD for OS, startup programs, and frequently used programs
-1TB HDD for storage of documents, pictures, music, videos, large programs, etc.
-Takes the space of only one normal drive
I bought a budget gaming laptop back in 2012, and it was my primary PC for a long time. I have an extensive steam library, and I had quite a few games installed, but the laptop only came with a 500GB HDD. I was looking into upgrading to 1TB when a friend had mentioned this product, which I thought was too good to be true. To my pleasant surprise, this product did exist, and I found it on sale for a really reasonable price that I can't remember off hand. I believe I purchased this product in early 2015 and installed this without a second thought and it has been working phenomenally ever since. I have experienced a huge boost in boot time and since I have my frequently used programs on the SSD, normal use has seen a significant improvement as well. I've read many reviews complaining about the software, but this must have been fixed by the time I got it as I experienced no issues whatsoever. It breathed new life into this older laptop and has since helped it age very very gracefully. It's really the best solution for both SSD speed and the capacity of an HDD at a decent price, or at least it was when I bought it.
Cons: -None that I've experienced
Overall Review: It appears that this item is no longer manufactured by Western Digital, which is an absolute shame. I can think of many other devices that I'd love to put this drive in, but the limited quantity of what's left seems to have driven the price up astronomically. It's a shame, and I have yet to find a comparable product, but hopefully they'll make a new version some day.
