Pros: Idk what to say about it.....no problems. Installed it in my nVidia shield tablet so i can hold some movies/tv shows for a trip
Cons: None so far
Pros: It works. Bluetooth range is at least 15 ft. Automatically connects and can wake the tablet.
Cons: Seems like cheap plastic. Uses aa batteries. Better that it has a built in li-ion and a charge port but oh well.
Overall Review: This thing pretty much does what I want.
Pros: Many buttons
Good feedback on the buttons -- very clicky
Many DPI settings and very smooth cursor tracking
Great scroll wheel with stepped and smooth settings
Cons: Horrible configuration software which is extremely buggy, slow, and non-intuitive. Mysteriously changes or forgets values. Lags severely or crashes when trying to change button maps. Configuring the mouse DPI settings
Horrendous battery life. Must Charge every other day
Overall Review: One of the major reasons for getting this mouse is the large number of configurable buttons. However, due to the poor software that advantage is somewhat wasted. Its still possible to configure the mouse, its just painful sometimes. The battery life is not a *huge" deal, just an annoyance since some people prefer the free feeling of a wireless mouse. Otherwise the mouse is great. I gave it 3 stars because its a great mouse with a few glaring flaws. If Logitech would fix the software this mouse could easily be a 5 star
Pros: Nice case. Runs Great. Perfect screen.
Cons: Trackpad. Weird graphics driver issues.
Overall Review: I ordered this laptop for the hardware not knowing what to0 expect from the case. So far I'm very happy with the design. I can actually tell what the material is. I looks and feels sometimes like stressed aluminum....other times like plastic. It attracts dust and fingerprints somewhat but not too bad. The keyboard back-light is very cool. It can be turned on and off , which is a convenient feature for power-saving.
As far as the trackpad goes I understand what people are saying about it. The thing is quirky and doesn't respond smoothly. Its not too big a deal because I mostly use a mouse.
As far as the hardware goes, the thing runs great. The hard drive is a bit slow for what is on the market today, but the computer still boots up reasonably fast. Load times in games are fast as well, at least for what I am used to. Earlier I had a problem with the pre-installed graphics drivers. The graphics driver would randomly reset itself. I installed the latest driver from nVidia and I haven't had a problem since. Otherwise the game runs Skyrim on ultra with a decent framerate....which is more than I can ask for.
Some other notes:
There's no optical drive in this unit. In the side where the drive would be is a removable module that has a fan and a heatsink in it. Im assuming it also contains the second video card. The module bay could fit an optical drive or a hard drive. So if you wanted a dvd-rom or a second hdd you would have to sacrifice the SLI video cards.
Pros: Its fairly easy to draw and write once you get the hang of it which surprised me.
Cons: Its really quirky. Its clicks randomly sometimes and occasionally (don't know how) minimizes the window you are working on. The cursor has a strange vibration to it that seems to get randomly worse at times making it impossible to draw a straight line. Also the pad seems to have developed an area which is hyper sensitive and draws when you are holding the pen over it without even touching it. I think the latter issue is due to the fact that the pad is just broken. However, I can't send it back because I need it for a class and it is still somewhat functional--so long as I avoid the sensitive spot.
Cons: Battery life is short but I didnt expect much....Laptop batteries are always like that.
