Make sure to enable your Re-size BAR
Pros: Nice Boxy/Bulky GPU case looks and feels sturdy AF Very white themed oriented fits right in to my setup Low noise and temps at load Decent FPS on ultra settings
Cons: Not as big a jump in performance from a 2070 Super.
Overall Review: I did have to update my motherboard's bios to take advantage of the BAR resize. Not a huge undertaking. Didn't see much of a spike in FPS with AC: V. But not a lot of games on the support list yet.
Solid Stable Sexy!
Pros: Solid: even though it was apparently "used" it was super clean and looked, smelled, packaged, and acted like a brand new GPU. Stable: worked perfect right out of the box, drivers are easy and crash free, active cooling keeps temps and noise manageable. Sexy: the all-white casing is a perfect fit to an all white build. the whole thing together looks classy and unique.
Cons: It did have to be shipped from Hong Kong during a pandemic and the holiday season. So it took roughly a month to arrive to me. Plus, the price I paid is not something to brag about. But I wanted what I wanted and in the end I am very satisfied.
Overall Review: Obviously, the 2070 S is around a year and a half old. And so it would really depend on what you currently have in your rig. If you have the patience to wait until 3000 series becomes accessible, then you should wait. I brand new 3070 is nearly twice as powerful at around the same price point. I built a new system from the ground up...all white/black color scheme for my 50th birthday. I just didn't want to wait around for ever and quite honestly it is an upgrade from my aging 5700 Radeon with it's unstable drivers and blower fan and no backplate. Currently playing AC:V, CP77, and RE3 all on optimize settings via GeForce Experience and averaging 70+ fps. GPU temps vary depending on the game but I'd say around 65-70 degrees.
Pros: good on concept. makes gpu look cool.
Cons: Never had a product I bought from Newegg be DOA. Guess I've been lucky all these years. This overpriced product is well worth staying far far away from...DO NOT BUY! I noticed when installing my gpu into the base that it looked pulled apart slightly. Sure enough, no video signal and vga debug on mobo. Oh well, better thermals when sitting horizontal like it should.
Overall Review: Just stay away and keep your sixty bucks for a game.
Simple and beautiful
Pros: This is my second icue ready pc case. So I was more prepared for cable management and where the rgb wires need to go. With plenty of zip ties and lots of space I was able to do a semi professional job without too much planning. An all white build with grey accents. My jet black Unify, white Corsair Vengeance Ram, black and white custom cables, white h100i aio, and soon to buy white gigabyte 6800xt, my setup is gorgeous (to me it is). I've yet to decide if I want a vertical gpu mount or traditional (depends on the color of the gpu backplate). Whatever I decide I'll simply need to order the vertical pcie stand that's sold seperately. And unlike my previous icue case, this one is wider and easily fits my h100i top mounted with enough room to spare for a four large rgb ram kit.
Cons: A slight slight con....I miss the rubber gromets. this case lacks those and has some aluminum arm that partially shrouds the 24-pin and two pcie cables. However, since it runs vertically along the length of the case interior it does provide for more space to run your cables than a much smaller rubber lined hole.
Overall Review: Obviously, if you have a color scheme that involes white to a greater degree then this is the case you'll want.
Don't be impatient!
I haven't received my item yet. However I felt compelled to respond to some of the negative reviews I have been reading on here. Some of these customers are really (and annoyingly) impatient. They are giving up too fast and demanding a refund before the company has a chance to get it out the door! You need to read before you purchase AND you need to understand the emails this company takes the time to send you! It takes anywhere from 8 to 30 business days for your purchase to arrive at your doorstep. For the first 7 to 10 business days your stuff is being boxed up, put on a truck, and sent out to a sorting center. Once it clears customs (care to guess how long that takes? Not Sennow's fault!) DHL takes it from there. Flown to its destination in the US and again sits in a sorting center (again, not Sennow's Fault...or Newegg's either) before getting scanned and put on a truck headed for your hometown....30 business days (or a bit less). Some of you may have legitimate negative experiences. But I believe the vast majority of them are from impatient customers who don't understand the process involved in international shipping. Your impracticality, impatience, and misunderstanding are not only depriving you of getting the product you ordered but also driving away other customers. Again, I'm still waiting on my gpu and will either edit this rating accordingly or give a new detailed review WHEN I get my 2080 S. I do get a little frustrated as well (it's only human) because I want what I want now. But I understand the process (not to mention the global pandemic and unprecedented holiday online shopping this year). So I remind myself to be understanding and patient. I placed my order with Newegg Marketplace/Sennow on the 1st of December. By now, with any luck, it should be heading to a HK postal sorting center. A few days to a week after, it'll get picked up by the carrier (in my case it's DHL). It'll get sent to Hazelwood Missouri which is another sorting/processing center. This could be one or maybe two weeks later. And finally driven to my hometown of Columbia, Missouri (how convenient. I happen to live there!). So all told, I'm looking at maybe the second week of January. Not too bad considering it came all the way from Asia and had to pass through customs and did I mention the global pandemic? So be patient and enjoy the fact that even if Newegg doesn't have what you want in stock here in America a company across the great wide ocean just may and is willing to send it to you.
