GOOD BOARD
Pros: Good board, I haven't ran any of the utilities on the disk that came with the board so i can't speak of those. Came with (4) 6GB/s SATA III cables, which was nice (they're white?, are all SATA III cables this color?)
Cons: Didn't recognize my 7-7-7-21 ram, had to set in bios to ENABLE XRM and then LINK because once it did it was being ran at 9-9-9-24. Would not boot at first with a stick of ram in slots 1 & 3, see more below.
Overall Review: If, on first boot after build, you have constant reboots, place ONLY ONE STICK of ram in SLOT 1 (closest to cpu) then boot; if this helps, shutdown then add second stick to slot 3. Beautiful
Pros: Visually attractive; everything already stated ...
Cons: My Corsair H100 will not fit in the top; H100 uses 120mm fans, the case uses 140mm fans (I knew this before I purchased the case, just thought you may want to know). My Corsair H50 will not fit in the back; there is just enough space for the 120mm fan - the radiator will NOT fit (I DID NOT know this before I purchased this case). Completely useless for my water cooling needs.
Overall Review: If you cool by air alone you are OK. If you piece together a custom water cooling kit, you MAY be OK. If you have a closed-loop water cooling solution, you ARE NOT OK. I docked an egg for this. I also docked an egg for Lian-Li and Newegg's lack of recognizing consumer demand; Lian-li doesn't offer this case with a window, you have to purchase a window seperately +$100- Newegg doesn't sell the window. FAIL. People that spend this kind of money on a chasis alone most likely want a window, just saying... BTW, the dust filters in ALL cases are good for catching large birds from flying into your case, that's about it. Manufacturers need to start offering a filter similar to HVAC filters. I cut-up and tapped 3-month filters in each opening and I have plenty of air-flow. NOTE: I installed Noctua 9-blade, high-impedance, fans. There is money to made on this, get with the program.
Nearly PERFECT
Pros: Solar Powered Key spacing, layout
Cons: NO Caps Lock light or way of knowing it's ON or OFF
Overall Review: Logitech should replace the NUMBER PAD with a TOUCHPAD MOUSE. This way I can have a wireless keyboard AND mouse!
Pros: I have two of these in Raid1 for nearly a year without a problem. I have one as a standalone without a hickup.
Cons: Supply
Overall Review: since rains flooded many harddrive parts suppliers/manufacturers facilities in asia, the lack of supply of harddrives has created a price increase of 250%. Hold out, prices should come down in 3~4+ months. Holding out also lowers demand, thus the price for the fixed supply they have.
REBOOT
Pros: Good board, actually i own the P67A-GD55 but it's showing DISCONTINUED on Newegg, so I'll leave my comment here.
Cons: My 7-7-7-21 RAM showed 9-9-9-24 untill I changed it in the bios, was not recognized immediately (RAM manufacturer claims "Designed for P67"). Enable XMP and then LINK to enable correct timings.
Overall Review: For the guy/gal having the constant reboots, place ONLY ONE STICK of ram in SLOT 1 (closest to cpu) and reboot, see if this helps, then add second stick to slot 3. Intel Core i7-2600K Intel 510 Series 120GB SATA III G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 1333 7-7-7-21 SAPPHIRE 100290SR Radeon HD 5870 2GB MSI P67A-GD55 SeaSonic X650 Gold 650W CORSAIR CWCH50-1 LG GGC-H20L SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4 2TB RAID1 x2 Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Xion XON-DRBY525MB Noctua NF-P12-1300 120mm X4 MOTOROLA SBG6580
