Intel Core2 Duo E7500 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 2.93 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80571E7500
Intel Core2 Duo E7500 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 2.93 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80571E7500

Pros: Fired up immediately, recognized by my board with no issues.

Cons: No coms.

Overall Review: Make sure your motherboard can support these 45nm CPUs! Most will with a BIOS upgrade. Update your BIOS before you put in the new CPU.

all that and a 450 W power supply?

Rosewill R604-P BK 120mm Fan ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, with mesh air filters, adjustable vents & Tool-Free kits
Rosewill R604-P BK 120mm Fan ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, with mesh air filters, adjustable vents & Tool-Free kits

Pros: Nice case, tool-less design is OK

Cons: The description implies there is a 450W power supply included with this case "All than and a 450W power supply and you're ready for a great building experience" I would re-word that to say "Just add a power supply and you are ready..."

Overall Review: Watch out for the sharp edges, I sliced myself and didn't even know it while installing a "not included" power supply

Performs as expected

Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 Processor - BX80571E7300

Pros: Small, cool and quick

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Nice overclocker with non-standard heatsink, great value for the money, and a price drop on the horizon will make this an even better value

Does what it's siupposed to

MSI G31M3-L V2 LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI G31M3-L V2 LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Easy to install, easy to set up. Had no problem detecting the E7300 processor and setting up correct settings for the right speed

Cons: None

Overall Review: Nice, inexpensive dual channel memory motherboard with integrated video and the option to add a PCI Express card if desired.

Great RAM

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK
OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK

Pros: Works just as advertised

Cons: none

Overall Review: I own the 2 GB 2 x 1GB set of this RAM already and wanted more to play with in a 64 bit Vista Ultimate installation. Works perfectly, and my Vista Experience ratinf for CPU went from 5.6 to 5.7 and now I'm gonna pop the other 2 GB back in as well. Make sure you apply for the rebate quickly, 12 days including weekends goes by quick.

Outstanding memory, great service

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK
OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK

Pros: Works as advertised, great lifetime warranty from OCZ, excellent respons from tech support on their forums when I have questions about overclocking or motherboard support, $35 rebate makes this a GREAT deal for 4 GB of RAM.

Cons: heat pipe can cause clearance issues depending on your motherboard. None with the 780i XFX motherboard I own.

Overall Review: I currently have the 2GB (2x1GB) kit with the exact same specifications. I have recently started using 64 bit Vista Ultimate along with 32 bit XP Pro in a dual-boot configuration and want the added memory that the 64 bit OS allows. I expect this memory will perform as flawlessly as the 2GB I currently own. SPD clocks this memory slower so it will boot at standard memory voltages of 1.8 VDC, BIOS adjustment needed to set it to 4-4-4-15 and 2.1VDC.
