Great Monitor
Pros: The height adjustment is VERY useful. I have taken this monitor on 2 trips out of town and it helps keep the monitor at a good position. The screen is matte and there are less fingerprints and reflections. ASUS is a maker of high quality items. Great for watching video. No dead or stuck pixels.
Cons: The bezel is glossy and attracts fingerprints and dust. The buttons are sometimes hard to press, but you will get used to them after a bit. i know both of these going in and they are minor cons. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Overall Review: I would buy another one of these in an instant.
Pros: Case is large and works great. Cooling is good and quiet.
Cons: SEE OTHER THOUGHTS
Overall Review: The scratches inside the window are from the USB3 connectors. File a parts request with coolermaster for a new side panel and attach a picture of the scratch. It took about 15 days for me and I recieved an entirely new sidepanel. I did not have to pay shipping or send my old side panel back.
My favorite board.
Pros: Great options and easy to set up. I rebuilt my system around this and the board didn't make me have to reinstall Windows 7. I love the ExpressGate feature and it is useful if I don't have much time, but just need to check something. Great video card, but has some issues (See other thoughts). Great board for overclocking.
Cons: Small video issue(see other thoughts). Not big enough to deduct any eggs.
Overall Review: I used this board and the integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 with a pre-existing Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty installation. The first time I booted, it didn't recognize the card and booted into low graphics mode. The only drawback to this is that I didn't get Compiz. I still had the full resolution of my monitor. I used the hardware driver tool to find the drivers. I installed and restarted. There was a large AMD overlay in the bottom-right corner. I went to AMD/ATI's site and downloaded the Catalyst Control Center (9.12, I think). I installed it and restarted, and the logo was gone. I haven't tried to re-enable Compiz yet, but the driver works great. Other than that, this board is my favorite at the moment and I highly recommend it.
Best processor I have worked with
Pros: Works perfectly. Easy-to-OC Black Edition. 2.8GHz stock speed. Managed to unlock my fourth core. Haven't noticed any stuttering in CPU-intensive tasks.
Cons: I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out how to get it out of the box. It was really well put together. Not much of a con.
Overall Review: Used on Asus M4A785-M Motherboard. Runs flawlessly.
Works great
Pros: Works well. Has potential for overclocking. My Asus M4A785-M set it automatically to DDR2 800
Cons: None
