BEAST!

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X OC EDITION, GV-N970WF3OC-4GD
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X OC EDITION, GV-N970WF3OC-4GD

Pros: Quiet, power efficient, powerful, great price.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I upgraded from an AMD 7970 and I did not expect how massive of an upgrade this thing would be. This monster of a card has quite a bit of room for overclocking and is capable of running on par with a stock GTX 980 which is about $200 more. At 1500 mhz core clock, the temp hasn't gone higher than 66 celsius while gaming and I have not touched fan settings. Could not be happier with my purchase.

Incredible

Philips Performance SHP9500 Over-Ear Open-Air Headphones - EXCLUSIVE - Black
Philips Performance SHP9500 Over-Ear Open-Air Headphones - EXCLUSIVE - Black

Pros: - Comfortable - Well constructed - Big sound stage - Amazing sound with clear highs and mids and really nice bass (not overwhelming) NOT FOR BASSHEADS - Fantastic for gaming because of large sound stage, great positional audio, but also sounds great for music. - Insane value, way better than much more expensive cans. While not entirely necessary, I use these with a Fiio e10k dac/amp.

Cons: - Open back could be a con for some because they do bleed quite a bit of sound, but I knew what I was buying beforehand and was actually looking for open back. Also means you hear everything in the room around you. These are not good for taking out somewhere, i.e. the gym.

Overall Review: These are amazing. I was looking for my first set of really good headphones and looked at a lot of expensive ones. After seeing countless suggestions for these headphones and lots of reviews talking about how good these were, I decided to pick them up. These cannot be beat for the price and are better than lots of more expensive headphones. I am absolutely not disappointed.

Update to previous review.

ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 Video Card STRIX-GTX1080-8G-GAMING
ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 Video Card STRIX-GTX1080-8G-GAMING

Pros: Second card, see other for more details. This one works Amazingly well, overclocks over 2100 MHz on the core and 500 on the ram. After some stepping by gpu boost for temperature and power limits, etc., it settles and stays around 2063 on the core. This card never gets over 70c even after hours of Witcher 3 with a slightly more aggressive than stock fan curve. Gaming at 1440p is wonderful with this card. Stellar performance.

Cons: Previous card was defective and Newegg has a return for replacement only policy on these cards. I had to RMA it and wait, then due to no stock I was given a refund. See other section for more details.

Overall Review: I had previously posted a 1 star review, because the first card I had gotten had several different issues with heat, LED function, etc. The biggest of the issues was that shortly after receiving the card, one of the fans started going out on it. After RMA'ing and getting a refund due to no stock, I decided to purchase a card from a local retailer instead of using Newegg. I purchased a Zotac amp! card that ended up being absolutely horrible, (91c out of the box), so I returned that one, and after some hesitation, let an employee at said local retailer talk me into another Asus (same model as this one). Turned out to be great. Awesome card. Minus one egg for all the hassle and the fact that the first one was no good.

Great!

G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2800 (PC4 22400) Intel Z370 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-2800C15D-16GTZB
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2800 (PC4 22400) Intel Z370 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-2800C15D-16GTZB

Pros: Works great, looks great! I hope this becomes a staple design for G. Skill, similar to how Corsair always had the Dominators. I really like the look of this ram.

Cons: NONE.

Fantastic!

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I'm using this mobo with the 6700k and G. Skill Trident Z (2x8gb) 2800 ram. Everything works great. This mobo is packed with all kinds of features and more bios options than I know what to do with. The XMP for the G.Skill Trident Z worked perfectly fine, no problems. Overclocking was super easy and I set it to 4.5 right away with no voltage tweaking. I could definitely hit a much higher overclock, but for now 4.5 is fine with me. The on board audio is very, very good. This board is also very aesthetically pleasing and I love the colors. Led's look great and are customizable. Looks great in my 760t and the Trident Z ram goes well with it as far as looks are concerned.

Cons: Had a few issues while gaming that seem to have been remedied by updating to the F4 bios. Have not run into any issues since updating.

Great upgrade!

Intel Core i7 6th Gen - Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530
Intel Core i7 6th Gen - Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530

Pros: Upgraded from a 3570k and saw immediate improvement in pretty much everything including a 30 fps boost to the more cpu intensive games such as GTA V and World of Warcraft. Overclocked to 4.5 immediately without touching anything but the XMP profile for my ram and upping the multiplier. Stable and only pulling about 1.325 volts. My H110i GT keeps this in the 40's under load, rofl. The hottest it's ever gotten is 53c. Current setup: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 Mobo Intel 6700k @ 4.5 ghz G. Skill Trident Z 2800 EVGA SC+ GTX 980 TI Corsair AX750 PSU Corsair H110i GT water cooler Could not be happier with this upgrade.

Cons: NONE.
