Pros: Backplate . Quiet . AMD suite has many very nice hidden features . Decent power for the price . Sapphire makes ATI cards for other companies , need I say more ? Newegg .
Cons: None really .
Overall Review: I'm not a heavy gamer . I'm still on BF4 and it plays it at 1080 easy with everything on ultra with very good FPS . Tops off at 74-75F and I'm in the tropics . At 4 months now and has worked just fine since day one .
Pros: It's so thin I'm afraid of breaking it but it's been rock solid . Tips are really nice and small . Fits snug in everything I plug it into . Haven't had one tangle in the wire . Doesn't transmit noise if rubbed on or stroked like other wires I've had . Flat .
Cons: I wish the wire had more meat on it and thicker conductors . I bet there's only a few strands of copper for each of the 3 conductors in there max .
Overall Review: Under 10 feet with these wires you shouldn't have any loss . I'm using it with Phillips SHP9500S and a SMSL 793II and loss was a concern since the wire is so thin . I compared this wire to the stock Phillips 4 footer and a massive 10 foot shielded 18 gauge wire I have custom made with 3.5mm ends and cannot tell the difference . Recommended .
Pros: I like all the features it has and they all work fast and with no bugs . Nice looking metal case . The phone has pretty good reception on all radios . The stock ROM doesn't have too much bloatware but If you're into custom ROMs there are tons to choose from for this device but installing one will void your warranty , dang . The screen looks great with no dead pixels . I recommend you get a tempered glass protector for the screen and a protective case cause you're gonna want to keep this device for a long time . This device has pretty decent cameras . Works with many services with a couple of exceptions and restrictions on 2nd sim . No problems whatsoever in 2 months of ownership . I've contacted the company and they responded every time so I think the service department is pretty good so far . Newegg is a plus .
Cons: The UI interface is not for me cause I'm an Android guy and EMUI is similar to apple stuff . No app drawer and all the app icons on the home screen is an I thing plus the white menu's are an eye sore . When I got the phone I immediately installed my T mobile sim and had a problem indoors . This phone is not compatible with T mobile's band 12 and doesn't receive a good signal indoors because band 12 is the band they use to go thru structures . Outdoors I had no problems though , just indoors . I had to switch it to AT&T and now it gets 4 bars inside my house but with T mobile I would get barely one bar and could not receive or make phone calls inside my house so basically I was forced to switch . The 405 chip holds it back a little from being a speed demon but it's not bad at all .
Overall Review: This is a great phone with a Octa core and 2 gigs of ram plus 1920 resolution for a good price and I did a lot of shopping around and couldn't find a better deal at the time . A side note on the EMUI is that you can install any launcher you want off playstore . PS; I wish Android would go DARK theme . Apple products all have white menus and for some reason Android went that way too . It is a battery drainer . If only Android would go DARK theme in contrast to the apple products then I think the platform would gain identity and uniqueness plus it would save on battery life . A dark theme would have better contrast , be easier on the eyes and saves a ton of battery life .
Pros: Newegg and Gskill are the pro's here . Pretty fast storage and cheap too .
Cons: None whatsoever
Overall Review: I have many Gskill products and they're all working like champs . I have many more products from Newegg and I've never had problems with them . I've received nothing less than excellent service and products from newegg and Gskill .
Pros: It has a window that interacts with the 5x perfectly . Perfect fit .
Cons: A bit overpriced . I got this as a free gift when I bought the 5x but I use Shoprunner . The phone qualified for free shipping under shoprunner but the case did not so I had to pay for shipping which was rather high since I live in Puerto Rico and I ended up in reality paying higher than retail for the supposed free gift .
Overall Review: Don't get me wrong the case is nice if you like flip cases and get free shipping . My only complaint is because of a special circumstance .
Pros: I had a 256gb SSD before I got this . 256 was just not enough for me . So I did a little research and found this one . It was at a good price so I went for it . Once initialized , which you must do with this model , I installed windows 10 and have had no problems . It's been a little under a month mow and zero issues . I'm not gonna talk about speeds here because I'm still on a sata 3gbs board with a 750 but it feels fast comparing to the previously installed SSD .
Cons: Plastic case and it doesn't come with a 3.5 bracket but you can get one for a few bucks .
Overall Review: I recommend this SSD for 2 simple reasons . Newegg and Corsair . I've gotten nothing other than excellent service from both these companies .
Pros: Fired right up with some ddr3 1066 2x1gb and an old pentium as other Asrock G31 and G41 boards I've bought in the past have done . Runs rather cool and decently for an inexpensive PC board . The box states better protection and hopefully solves some past problems . Had no problems installing into a Matx case . All features working properly . It even booted up on some ddr2 800's I installed . Uses either ddr2 or 3 which is a feat but remember not both at the same time . Running win7 x64 . Don't know if it runs 10 but there should be no problem doing so .
Cons: None really . Read the OTHER column below for cons if any .
Overall Review: As stated before , the box claims better power protection and hopefully that solves the problem I had with several Asrock G31 and G41 boards in the past which is a low life expectancy of about 2 to 3 years due to a no power up scenario . This board actually replaces an Asrock G41 R1.0 that just refuses to power up after 2+ years of light use and unfortunately they come with only a 1 year warranty . I've encountered this to be the case with most of these boards in my repair shop . In this last case I found an open transistor right by the CPU socket which is impossible for a customer to damage . However at the price I almost consider them to be disposable . You still get about 3 years out of them and therefore they are just fine for old PC revivals . People with a need for a socket 775 should not hesitate to buy this board .
Pros: A solidly constructed mouse with a ton of features at a decent price comparing to other brands. What more can you ask for? feels comfortable for my hands which are average size. Works on most surfaces flawlessly. Pretty colors. I have mine with a tri color scheme and people who see it comment on how good it looks. The mouse wheel is very precise with a good tactical feel.
Cons: The software is buggy. At times it doesn't take the settings. The save settings doesn't come up all the time. So when you get it and start to set it up be aware if the save setting comes up you'll be fine once you save but if it doesn't, you might have to go back in and do it again. Kind of a hard learning curve. I cam complain all day about the software but I bought a mouse and not software so it still gets 5 eggs because the mouse is top notch.
Overall Review: I must have owned dozens of mice in the last 10 years from other companies and every one had something I didn't like. This mouse is close to perfect for me and so far the most likeable mouse I've owned. I own and have purchased many Gskill ram and only once did I have a problem. Gskill took care of me efficiently and quickly. So did Newegg the one time I had an issue. Newegg and Gskill are top notch companies and this mouse is a great buy.
Pros: Great RAM at a good price . Works in many of my systems .
Cons: None whatsoever . Buy with confidence .
Overall Review: I have experienced both Newegg and Gskill service and they both have taken care of me so fast it made my head spin . Impressive !
Pros: Good speed and an adequate amount of space at a good price . What more can you ask for ? USA .
Cons: None whatsoever except for the funny SATA connector . It's not a full size connector as others but works just fine on any system . Just match the L pattern and insert .
Overall Review: Buy USA whenever possible .
Pros: Worked out of the box . Booted up computer with no issues . Nice looking especially the white fan . A first for me at least . Good enough for a basic system . Definitely not for a quad SLI .
Cons: I don't know much about this brand but seems to be a decent product . Expected the unit to be heavier but long as it works as advertised that's fine .
Overall Review: GIGABYTE GA-H81M-HD3 Pentium G3250 Muskin ecco2 SSD Asus DVD and Gskill ripjaws .
Pros: Works fine and fairly quiet .
Cons: None with this product so far .
Overall Review: Asus needs to improve their RMA service . Just had the absolute worst experience with them but I don't hold grudges .
Pros: Lots of features on this board for the price . 3 ways to connect a monitor . Plenty of USB ports (6 rear and 4 case ports) compared to other Matx boards . Booted right up . SATA 6gb and USB 3.0 of course . Adequate amount of expansion ports again more than most other Matx boards .
Cons: No cons for me here . Used this in a customer build and no complaints .
Overall Review: I'm usually an Asus fan but since I recently had the absolute worst RMA experience with them recently I've ventured into other brands and kinda glad I did . Gskill Ripjaws and Pentuim G3250 Muskin enhanced ecco2 worked great with this board .
Pros: Good speed for the price . I use these in customer builds . Good CPU for a HTPC setup. Probably adequate for gaming but I recommend something else for that . Can't go wrong at this price . Needed to state that twice .
Cons: Fan is inadequate as always . I don't like the socket system cause it's too delicate . Both Intel's fault . No overclocking like the good 'ol days . You need an unlocked model for that which is available on the Pentium model for a few dollars more .
Overall Review: works fine with GIGABYTE GA-H81M-HD3 - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) - Mushkin Enhanced ECO2 MKNSSDEC240GB
Pros: good fans . well constructed and push enough air to cool most cases . quiet . heavy duty blades . decent price .
Cons: wish they would push just a little more air .
Pros: you can't go wrong with this cpu . cheap and able to do more than expected . runs cool . i remember years ago a pentium would cost hundreds and this one runs circles around the old pentiums and costing under 60 bucks .
Cons: none . maybe a better cooler . please intel .
Pros: good stable platform for a basic system . at stock speeds performs well . no problems so far . plenty of pcie x1 ports . worth installing a video card .
Cons: not good for overclocking . it's a basic user board . not for enthusiasts . expected at this price .
Pros: very food ram . so far gskill hasn't let me down . on third set . good company . answers emails .
Pros: good budget power supply so far holding up well in a basic system .
Cons: none so far
Pros: I'm a certified computer tech and I couldn't believe the difference these SSD drives made until a friend gave me a Evo 128gb. Once i installed it, my system seemed so much faster. So I picked up this unit because the price was right and I do not regret it. These drives improve any system no matter how much high end gear you have. Perfect for laptops too because they use less power and run cooler. Plus they can take jolts and impacts unlike mechanical drives.
Cons: Not the fastest SSD drive around but it's fast enough believe me. No optimizing software.
Overall Review: If you're still running a mechanical drive, you need to buy one of these. The difference it make is like night and day. 7.8 in windows experience index.
Pros: I got this at a good price, before it went up. Still worth it at the current price. The recorder is a very nice unit and the cameras also. Cameras are all aluminum. The cable lengths are 60 feet. All you need is in the box except for the hard drive to install this system. I got a WD green 1TB and it works well. Expect about a month worth of recording with a 1TB. Good resolution. Lots of features.
Cons: Wish the wires were white to blend in with the white trim around my house. I expected the view to be wider but it's totally acceptable. Night vision could be improved. Just don't point them to a direct light source. Manual is written by someone who is not very good with English grammar.
Overall Review: All I needed was 4 cameras so this unit worked out well for me. If you need extra cameras then I recommend the 8 channel version.
Pros: I have this installed in a security system and it works well. Cool and quiet like the title says. Price is decent. Western digital is a good brand.
Cons: Not the fastest hard drive. There are faster drives at this price.
Overall Review: This hard drive is better suited for security systems and for storage . It's not that good for a main PC OS drive because it tends to be slower compared to a WD blue for example or other hard drives at the same price. So basically buy this if speed is not important to you, buy this if you want a quiet and cool running reliable hard drive.
Pros: Price . Works well . Long . Have it installed on a security system with mics on a 32 inch TV.
Overall Review: At this price you can't complain
Pros: Obvious sound improvement over my vt2020 on board. Drivers are not buggy as in older Creative products. Product looks new. Comes with installation CD but I highly suggest downloading the latest driver. Headphone output can reach very high output levels. Minimalistic control panel gives you what you need and more.
Cons: Did not fit well in my case because it seems the rear bracket is not in proper alignment. Could this be a defect and possible reason why Creative labeled and sells these as refurbished? All other peripherals fit perfectly (CM 690). If yours is like mine, you're gonna have to get inventive to get it to sit properly into the pcie slot. This card sounds phenomenal with everything but music. Very strange. If you have Nvidia cards and use a fan controller with profiles like evga precision , riva or afterburner, the control center will keep your pc on 3d profile. So if you're OC'ed and have a 3d profile with a high fan speed, keeping the control center on will make your pc noisy and will kick in the overclocked setting permanently so set it and take it off windows start up.
Overall Review: You get a sound card for one purpose, to get better sound and this it delivers Movies and games sound great but not so with plain 'ol music which is kind of strange. you do get a very clean sound from the line outs on all sources and music sounds great but not so with headphones. Bottom line is that this sound card is worth buying at this price.
Pros: Plug and play ,. Small size and no problems aligning the card's back plate to the case. Fits well into the pciE slot. Pretty fast so far from what I can tell. On Win 7 x64.
Cons: None whatsoever. Waiting for it to arrive is the only con here and I got it pretty fast.
Overall Review: Just get one if you need one, heck get a few at this price. Look at the amount of positive reviews and it becomes apparent that this is a no cons purchase .
