Reliability
Pros: Windows XP Pro is very reliable. It just doesn't have the issues that the other versions of Windows is known for.
Cons: Its older.
Cool price, cool fan
Pros: I needed an inexpensive CPU cooler for one of my PCs. Installation was not difficult at all. Runs very quiet as it was supposed to. I like the speed control that was included. I need a 2nd one for my other machine now! I bought it for an AM2+ socket but can be easily adapted to an LGA775 socket. Includes everything needed!
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: I would buy these to replace stock coolers. These are far quieter. It works! I wouldn't have a problem buying this fan again!
bang for the buck
Pros: Nice low price. I use Corsair memory almost exclusively. It is reliable and performs beautifully. Its great that Newegg keeps older memory types in stock. I used it to upgrade an older Compaq laptop from 256Mb to 1Gb RAM. Laptop runs MUCH better, even for an older machine.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I recommend Corsair memory to anyone who asks me about it. I also only use Corsair for current and future builds.
This rocks!!!
Pros: Worked as soon as installed. Burning data was a fast and simple process. Lightscribe is awesome. No more using a sharpie marker to identify my cds and dvds.
Cons: This item is OEM! No Lightscribe software. Comes with Nero Essentials 7. Sorry, but I am not a Nero fan. Depending on the complexity of the image you're etching, it takes a while. but that was really to be expected.
Overall Review: To get Lightscribe software and templates, visit www.lightscribe.com and go to the download section. Its really easy and they offer some very cool templates. I really like this drive!
JPAC PC Case
Pros: Nice sized case with a 500 watt power supply. Looks nice and the top carrying handle is a plus if you attend LAN parties very often.
Cons: The case is flimsy. The plexiglass side window is much thinner than other brands. Could use at least one more 80mm fan opening. For the money though, can't complain too much.
Overall Review: May need to upgrade power supply for newer mobos. Several have 6 pin cpu connectors. Not really an issue or con. Just a simple observation.
Dual Core is the way to go
Pros: I am a huge fan of AMD and this CPU was no disappointment. The price was right. The speed is great and the stock heat sink and fan work well. I have no complaints so far.
Cons: I haven't run across any yet.
Overall Review: Its a solid CPU. I upgraded from a single core 1.7 Ghz to this. The difference is amazing. Its not loud at all. It is a good CPU. I would recommend this CPU to anyone wanting to step up to multi core.
