Best Dual-Core on the market

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.16 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80570E8500
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.16 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80570E8500

Pros: Absolutely amazing chip. This thing will not only run or OC well, but OC's 4.2 Ghz on AIR. Speed and rates as well as load times etc etc etc are painlessly fast and efficient. Recently just built a Quad-Core Q6600 and this just embarassed it. Bravo Intel, bravo.

Cons: OCing with an MSI P7N Diamond 780i is a bit annoying, but definately doable and stable.

Overall Review: If you're a gamer/enthusiast of OCing your chip, dont even hesitate to buy this proc.

Amazing performance

EVGA 03G-P3-1595-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) Classified ULTRA 3072MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This card is amazing all around the board, from the amazing design, to the 8cm fan, to the crazy OC potential, this is truly a card for enthusiasts. I have mine sitting on a very light OC considering it came factory with an extra 45 and this tears everything apart, from various Steam titles to BF3, this card is truly in a class of its own when it comes to ANY 580.

Cons: This card is very power hungry, granted it's all there in the description (recommending at least a 600 PSU) this thing really needs at least an 850. I originally was going to use the PSU from my old build which was a corsair TX750, and this wouldn't take it, so I recommend AT LEAST an 850 if you're going to pick one of these up and are running a hungrier machine. The weight isn't really an issue but it is a heavy card, so watch your brackets and PCI slots, it may sag your mobo.

Overall Review: Overall this card is absolutely worth it. I was a little disappointed last week when I first saw the 680's, I was questioning my purchase of this card in light of the new series, but after towing my system to a buddy's house who just got a 680, my worries were put down. This card will go toe to toe with the new 6 series (until they release the 680 Classi Ultra or 690). Planning on getting another one and putting these in SLI and enjoy this system for another 5 years.
