Pros: Great price for an RGB kit with multiple speeds and modes.
Cons: Can't turn off the LEDs completely. Hitting the power button makes them go dim and flicker similar to the star-night icon mode. I specifically purchased these due to the ability to turn the LEDs off. I now have to turn my computer completely off. SO could it be a bad controller if all other functions work but the ability to turn the LED off with the remote?
Overall Review: If you're ok with the lights staying on, great! Knocking off 2 eggs for the fact that I can't turn the LEDs off and if I can't find an answer on how or why returning for a refund.
Pros: Great CLEAR sound. Not muffled, not distorted, crystal clear. Highs, lows, even base. Depending on your device, you get the sounds as if you have a full headset style on your ears. I snagged these when they were $14.99, kicking myself for not grabbing an extra set. I recently 'misplaced' them and had a mini panic attack! I've compared these to Beats By Dre and these sound even better to me. Just my opinion.
Cons: Didn't grab an extra pair incase lost, borrowed & not returned, or chewed on by pets.
Overall Review: If you listen to music ranging from classical, dance, heavy base, rock, or pop, and are passionate about how it sounds, you need to get these. Over the many years of buying earphones, these have far surpassed all sound quality that I've heard in a small package.
Pros: *$35.99 vs $59.99 is a no brainer for a year of online game play with your friends.
Cons: *The big cheese MS is charging you to get online to play with your friends! (but this isn't a con to newegg)
Overall Review: * I own 1 game for this system as of now, for the wife. She wants to play it with her friends, had to get the live membership or I would be a mean techie hubbie! Thanks MS! Atleast I'll use the Xbox as a media extender and take that $17 monthly cable box back to Comc@st!
Pros: Free shipping, if u call that a pro.
Cons: Worse non-comfortable chair, border line a solid plastic chair that you sat in when you were in gradeschool.
Don't try & return it, RMA takes off about $9+ then the shipping cost is $40.50+ due to the weight, so that $50 promotion, you just paid to waste your time! I'll Never buy Roswill Furniture again from them!
Overall Review: Tried getting this chair for a Xmas present since it's original pricing was in the $80 range, turns out it wasn't even worth $20! Get this if you want someone to have back problems and hate you forever!
Pros: Powered an AMD X2 System since 10/7/10 and now in an Intel i3 System & still working great! No Power issues what so ever.
Cons: Wasn't free! lol
Overall Review: If you're DOA, that's understandable, if your under powering your OC system, then don't take eggs off for not knowing your power requirements and shorting out the unit. This is for a P4 to i3 type system that doesn't have a lot of stuff to power beyond the single standards of 1 Optical, Motherboard, & hard drive. Anything beyond that, you're only hurting yourself for being cheap.
Pros: -Fast Printing via Wireless or Connection. Have it in a room that's no where near the router or computers and it still prints great!
Cons: Size & weight. It's a bit big so doesn't fit on my desk or under my desk due to design, but this isn't really a con, that's my issue. Most Laser printers are a tad bit lower profile and fit on a shelf but since this is a bit heavier and bulkier, I don't want to risk it.
Overall Review: Toner replacement seems to be a big thing for all printers. I've looked around various sites to find the cheapest replacements and found that the software you install for the wireless & monitoring has a link to purchase supplies. The link has it for $45 a cart vs most places $55+.
Pros: -Sleek, fast, perfect for play and work, web browsing, music listening, and video watching.
-OS easily to upgrade. Upgraded to Win 7 Pro for extra features that Home edition didn't have made it more stable with Remote Desktop and work VPN.
-Full features of Windows 7 out of the box!
-PRO's & CON's are all over the web, my emphasis is on the "Other Thoughts" for this device, which I really havn't seen anyone touch. So if you find any of my few mentioned things useful, rate me:)
Cons: -Wireless N card is only an N-150 speed vs N-300 speed, this is the factor that has me border line returning it. 5 Days of this post to make final decision.
Overall Review: People are complaining about a few things this unit doesn't have. Well I've thought up some work arounds that I have yet to see anyone suggest on all of the various sites that sell this unit.
#1 - Hard drive / Storage Space
#2 - USB Ports on the bottom-???
#1, people have stated SD Card for "Storage", but this doesn't help for installing programs. I have come up with a work around for this.
1) Format the SD card to NTFS (due to size limitations of the end product)
2) Download & setup Windows Virtual PC for Windows 7 on the unit or preferably another computer.
3) Use Windows Virtual PC to create a new Virtual Machine, Name it whatever you want (this will be the hard drives name too). Take Default settings upto the "Add virtual Hard Disk" option. Chose "Advance". Chose "Fixed Size", Input size for your memory card MINUS 256-500MB to compensate for padding. Place newly created VHD on memory card, "Attach" via Device Manager under Action, Assign Drive Letter, format new drive. :
Pros: -Multiple HDMI inputs and the Optical input are great! Connecting the Cable box-HDMI, PS3-Optical, TV-HDMI, without a component.
Cons: -No Video Out, but that's an actual stereo receiver not a Blueray Home Theater system.
Overall Review: - If you're security consious and use MAC filtering, make sure you get the correct MAC number. Saves hours of time if you input the wireless MAC vs the LAN mac.
Pros: -Multi Network capabilities are great for that splitting of networks for deligating bandwith. People state they drop packets and lose connection, check your EMI between the router and where you're positioned. If you have lots of electronic highend devices, you're stuck no matter what router you get. Getting 285-300 on N and steady 56 on G cards.
No issues with 3 Wired Computers (1 Server + 2 Clients), 1 PS3 Wired, 1 Streaming Blueray Player System, 2 N-Class Cellphones Wireless, 2 Laptops Wireless, 1 PSP Wireless, 1 Nintendo Wii Wireless, 2 DSI Gameboys Wireless. 1 VPN Connection 5 days a week @ 8-10hr constant connection.
Cons: -Purchased mine when it was $184.99!
Overall Review: -Neighborhood has lots of wireless signals, changed to channel 1 with channel 5 as backup, this is best for the Wii and other gaming systems.
-VPN and VOIP should be done on a physical connection vs a wireless. Even a N rated wireless connection will drop some of those packets due to the amount of data required.
Pros: -Fits Micro ATX Boards great!
-Real Screws vs plastic hook type clips to hold drives in place.
Pros: Business with 10-40 computers, this is a perfect antivirus software vs the free ones out there for the price. Actively scans for viruses and spywear. This is great for those that have employees that still go to undesired places or check personal email on company computers.
Cons: -Company use is great, personal use, would use something different.
-You have to do manual configuration or you'll get the stupid tool bar & you can't remove/disable w/o complete uninstall. Subtracting 1 egg for this. Tool Bars should be outlawed!
Overall Review: Easy install, definitely would download most recent version from website vs CD/DVD that comes with software. This eliminates a big download and multiple reboots.
Pros: Converting from a Pentiumd D 3.4 to this monster is like going from Fred Flinstone's car to a Lamborghini Murciélago! I've thrown 3 virtual machines running @ the same time along w/ Adobe Photoshop editing, all running at the same time w/o a skip! This processor is a monster!
Cons: Can't get the dang wife off it! Now gotta spend the money to get her one just as fast so I can have my toy back >.<
Overall Review: No reason to OC it yet, but might down the road.
