Works like it is supposed to...

ENCORE ENU-4USB USB 2.0 4 Port Hub
ENCORE ENU-4USB USB 2.0 4 Port Hub

Pros: The USB connector fits into the back of the unit, The hub is very small and thin, The hub comes with a 2+ foot USB cable extension.

Cons: The attached connector only has about 1" of slack

Overall Review: I works as it should, looks decent, and was inexpensive. I don't like the short included cord, you almost have to use the included extension. The unit has a depression in the back to perfectly store the connector, allowing for a thin, small, ergonomic package.

A great deal

Pros: Works great, VERY quiet.

Cons: Doesn't come with jumper to select slave/master.

Overall Review: A great choice.

A good deal

Rosewill RX250-U Aluminum 2.5" IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure with One Touch Backup function
Rosewill RX250-U Aluminum 2.5" IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure with One Touch Backup function

Pros: Worked as advertised-though I havn't used the backup function.

Cons: I put the HD in the leatherette case front-first, and when I tried to remove it, the vinyl got caught on the lip and the front trim playe broke off. I was able to repair and reattach it though. Also, the vinyl case was of poor design in general...in addition to the very tight fit, it is difficult toget the strap to clasp and the "hinge" area is too small for the edge of the enclosure.

Overall Review: A few items: First, enclosure WILL fit in the leatherette case that the unit comes with, you have to smooth out the wrinkles on the edges of the pocket and keep working at it. I left my enclosure in the case overnight to stretch it out. Second, you must insert the enclosure back first; as I mentioned, the front face will break off on removal if you arent careful. Finally, for the record, I am using this enclosure with an 80gb 4200 rpm HD. The HD calls for 1 amp, but it worked fine with both USBs plugged in.

Excellent headphones...if you are patient!

KOSS PRO4AAT 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Professional Stereo Headphone
KOSS PRO4AAT 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Professional Stereo Headphone

Pros: These phones offer spectacular sound quality for a fraction of the price of some other brands. They are pretty comfortable evey though they weigh a ton.

Cons: These headphones sound terrible out of the box, with almost no bass and a pretty bad sound. They must be burned in for proper sound; which is simple. Just set them with music playing a little louder than you normally listen, put it on repeat, and leave them for 200-300 hours; about a week and a half. The difference is incredible. Also, these headphones have 250 ohm impedence (not 100 as mentioned by the previous reviewer), but play like they are even more. You need a powerful amplifier to get decent sound out of these; otherwise they sound terrible.

Overall Review: Inexpensive amplifiers can be had on some auction sites, and one of the better built examples will be plenty for these cans. When properly prepared and powered, these headphones have a sound to match cans 8 times the price.

Spectacular headphones for the money!

KOSS Brown KSC75 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Supra-aural SportClip Stereophone
KOSS Brown KSC75 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Supra-aural SportClip Stereophone

Pros: Excellent bass, great sound quality, all around some of the best headphones with a 2-digit price. Generally regarded as the best portable headphones availible.

Cons: Umm...uhh...cord is a little whimpy?

Overall Review: These go great with my Koss Pro 4AATs, but they don't sound anything alike. These have more bass response and aren't as neutral, but they are still spectacular.

A cheap player, but it works

AMC Black/Silver MP3 Player C3280
AMC Black/Silver MP3 Player C3280

Pros: Very compact Very inexpensive Good sound quality Has EQ built in Comes with usb cable and port Instruction booklet laughably full of engrish Real aluminum backing

Cons: Turns off randomly Instruction booklet laughably full of engrish Display a little hard to understand

Overall Review: Ohh what an adventure! I love playing detective. I was eventually able to figure out how to use this player by using the manual as a telepathic focus while casting chicken bones to scry the meaning behind the words. 3 sacrafices later and I knew how to use most of the features. More seriously, the manual is really bad. It was pretty confusing, but the syntax and grammar are really funny. As others have said, the sound quality is surprisingly good, but care should be taken to avoid high impedence headphones (60 ohm+), as they require too much power and volume and end up having terrible sound quality. Also, this player seems to have a penchant for turning off randomly, often according to the alignments in the heavens. Not sure if the battery is just dying or there is something wrong. Overall, it was a great buy for how much I paid.
