Pros: Overall it is a pretty good upgrade for your PS3. After formatting you will have 97gb of free space. Installation is a breeze, it took me literally less than 5 minutes. Be very very carefull when you remove the screws, they have a tendancy to strip.

Cons: I noticed this hard drive was producing more heat than my previous 60gb hard drive. Also downloading demos and game videos from psn takes forever. But saving game data, during gameplay is about the same speed as my previous hard drive. I decided I'm going to spend some more money and get a 160gb seagate hard drive instead. 97gb and extra heat did not leave me pleased.

Overall Review: If you are going to spend money on a hard drive, get something that is worth it.
