Pros: This box has great power and connectivity for field tasks like firmware and programming updates.

Cons: Low screen res, no HDMI port.

Pros: Insane speeds: on air cooling I was stable around 2.45 (e6600...) and now that I've added a basic water cooling system I'm running stable at 2.66 (e6700...) Just as a joke I tried running it at 2.73 and I got it to post but couldn't get to the windows log in screen. Low Price: uh yeah... that really says it all, but: I have a stable OC to the stock clock of the e6700 for 400 less...

Cons: um... maybe the locked multiplier... Also, when you think about it, based on my OC, you could easily OC the e6600 to over 3 Ghz

Overall Review: Very simple, if you're on a budget the cpu isn't something you have to spend $$ on.
