Know this is being picky, but I would have liked to see English on the package11/3/2017 7:52:57 PM

Pros: Card made it here and seems to be working fine

Cons: Language on the Package is all gibberish to me. Samsung Branding is the only English on the package

Low Profile Ram that Works2/28/2017 5:42:21 PM

Pros: I like Low Profile Ram because it makes life easier with Large Air CPU Coolers.

Cons: I got one set that was DOA. But that was from another place and they swapped it out for a working set.

Overall Review: Corsair LPX is my ram of choice.

Rock Solid for me2/28/2017 5:36:35 PM

Pros: Board is built like a tank. You could easily knock someone out with this board. Tons of SATA ports for storage junkies like me.

Cons: Updating the BIOS Directly from the Internet as a feature that is found on newer boards would have been nice.

Overall Review: I have no regrets in getting this board. Asus will likely be who I look to for future motherboards.

Purchased in 2012. Still Working Well !!3/25/2015 3:21:13 PM

Pros: Works Well. Battery last a full day even under heavy use. Roughly Half a Block Range (if I leave my phone in the Car charging and Walk away from it). Phone call, Music, and other audio quality is great. And in all but extremely windy conditions the mic pics up very well also..

Pros: Had 8G of thist stuff in my box since 2009. G.Skill is among the best, end of story... NO Issues at all !!

Cons: None

Overall Review: Very nice when you have components you can depend on to do what they are supposed to do... Corsair G.Skill Asus Gigabyte Cooler Master Western Digital (WD) These names I can buy with Confidence... Then there are those others like umm Seagate that you had better have a spare getting ready to swap in when they FAIL... Yeah, I Said it !!

NEVER Buying Seagate AGAIN !!3/25/2015 3:14:10 PM

Pros: Did GREAT for 2 Years and 2 WEEKS... Performed well for a while...

Cons: Right after the Warranty Period (2 Years and 2 Weeks) this drive is failing terribly. Had 10G worth of I/O errors in my Logs almost take down system. Putting a WD on order as soon as funds permit. 5 x WD Green 1TB drives (WDC WD10EADS-00L5B1) from 2009 are all still Running Flawlessly... Just reminds me, when you find something that actually works you should stick with it. Thought I would give Seagate a try since I hadn't used them in a while... Never Again !!

Wicked Fast and Linux Approved2/22/2015 9:09:34 AM

Pros: This SSD in Conjunction with a SYBA SI-PEX40065 PCI-Express x1 has drastically improved the over all experience of my Aging 2009 built machine. Machine would Drag prior when doing even simple tasks doe to a Major IO bottleneck (IDE OS Drive). With the SSD for my OS drive (Linux Mint) it flies in comparison. Operations that took Minutes prior now take a few seconds (system booting, extracting a movie from rar files and so forth). Went with this one because of the price. It was my first SSD so I didn't want to invest to much when initially trying things out. But I would not hesitate on my next purchase, thoroughly hooked on the performance. Truly brought my Aging system back to life. If you are debating scrapping an Older system this is something you should consider. Other than Maxing out Ram, this SSD is a HUGE performance boost. Thank you Kingston !!

Cons: None

Overall Review: If I had it to do over again I probably would go with a larger storage capacity. This is Plenty big for my OS, but I quickly got spoiled by the speed and would like to do other things with it as well...

Does what it Should. And Linux Approved !!2/22/2015 8:54:10 AM

Pros: Boots right up with my new Kingston SSDNow V300 Series SV300S37A hooked to it. This controller in conjunction with the new SSD Seriously increased the speed, performance, and boot times of my Aging 2009 built machine.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Could be Sexier, or have more ports. But for the price it does what it should, and seems to do it well.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan2/22/2015 8:47:53 AM

Pros: Took my idle CPU temp from 70C down to 30C on this AMD Phenom 8750 !! Got this on sale for $34.99 ... I would consider this a $40 - $50 Cooler

Cons: As others Stated it is Huge and Very Tall. My case is setting with the Side Panel off right now and I may very well have to break out the Dremel tool for a Mod to get it back on. My bad for not taking the recommendations of others to do the proper measurements on my case prior. Also, the Back plate install for AM2 is very tricky to accomplish if you are doing it by yourself. I managed, but it was frustrating to say the least.

Maybe DD-WRT is what it needs ?3/31/2013 3:20:41 PM

Pros: Works well with Netgear 1.2.0.16 Firmware. But that lacks much of the functionality I've become use to with Tomato.

Cons: Wet back to Latest Netgear provided -> Firmware Version V1.2.0.16 after trying Tomato Shibby AOI 105 and 108. Both did just fine on my 10/100 devices, but the wired in Gig devices Lagged by 2-4 seconds (or more) on even basic web surfing tasks.

The Hotness...2/16/2009 8:36:26 PM

Pros: The system is a GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 Motherboard with AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor, 8G G.SKILL DDR2 1066 in 2G sticks, CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX, and 5 x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS. These cables have a neon look as the blue LED lights in the case shine off of them. Oh, and I almost forgot, my drives are getting good transfer speeds with them.

Cons: None. Cable is at a 90 degree angle at one end for the connector. This seemed a bit awkward to me, but might be the norm.

This is a MUST!2/16/2009 8:34:37 PM

Pros: The system is a GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 Motherboard with AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor, 8G G.SKILL DDR2 1066 in 2G sticks, CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX, and 5 x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS. This Zalman keeps the chip cool without keeping me awake. Plus it came with the Thermal Paste that I forgot. The little brush on method for Thermal Paste was very nice...

Cons: Glad my system had and AMD chip, the stuff for mounting to and Intel chip looked much more complex.

Nice case with little to no documentation2/16/2009 8:34:25 PM

Pros: The system is a GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 Motherboard with AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor, 8G G.SKILL DDR2 1066 in 2G sticks, CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX, and 5 x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS. This case does a good job of housing the madness.

Cons: Little or No Documentation. Yes, the case is fairly simple, but the few pictures on the side of the box it comes in aren't enough to depict everything properly. For this it gets the 4 out of 5 rating. Only other complaint would be the door hinge seems to be a bit off track. You must use a lifting motion upward on the door to open and close it.

Simple Cost Effective Power Solution2/16/2009 8:34:04 PM

Pros: The system is a GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 Motherboard with AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor, 8G G.SKILL DDR2 1066 in 2G sticks, CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX, and 5 x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS. This Power Supply does the trick just fine without breaking me.

Cons: None. It has a whole bunch of PCI-E power adapters that aren't getting used, but who's fault is that *Grin*...

Pretty Sweet Drives2/16/2009 8:33:50 PM

Pros: These drives have impressed me. Was a Seagate fan prior, but after asking around and hearing others building Solaris based systems praises I decided to give these a try. I am very glad that I asked around. The system is a GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 Motherboard with AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor, 8G G.SKILL DDR2 1066 in 2G sticks, CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX, and 5 x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS. Averaging ~120MB/s reads with OpenSolaris 2008.11 b106 with 5 of them in a raidz pool.

Cons: About a half second lag as the drives spin back up but nothing serious. Debated dropping off and Egg, but to do so for energy saving features that truly don't interrupt operations doesn't seem fair.
