Pros: Beautiful, best Samsung B-die and best DDR4 desktop memory. I have tried several Samsung B die modules, G.Skill 3200CL14, G.skill 3600CL15, Patriot 4400CL19, Team T-Force 4133MHz. From the Patriot i even had 5 pair and only one could make 3800MHz Cl14 at 1.5V. The rest mentioned modules none. This beautiful new G.skill does 3800MHz CL14 and with better tRFC than the choosen Patriot.
Overall Review: With Ryzen 3 3300X@4.6GHz I run these modules at 3800MHz with Cl14-14-14-28 at 1.5V and latency down at 55ns! Best combination for gaming with Geforce RTX3080. Now just waiting for Ryzen 5 5600X, which will be even faster, I will update this review again.
Pros: Not overpriced Samsung B die modules.
Cons: Weeker Overclocking as expected.
Overall Review: I purchased 5 of these kits to select the best one for Ryzen 5 3600X. I thought these are very good quality Samsung B -die modules, but they cannot even do Ryzen Dram Calculator’s fast preset at 3733MHz, only with extra high 1.5V voltage.
Pros: -Fast, good overclocking potential,
-Good Hynix chip,
-Awesome RGB colors, possible to change manually
Cons: -6 cm tall, may not fit under certain heatsinks in mini itx motherboards
Overall Review: It is overclocking better than the 3200MHz smaller brother. I had 5 pair of sticks of each version and tested them. It can do CL16 timing at 3600MHz, while the 3200mhz version could overclock until just 3400MHz CL16. So I think this 3600 variant has better Hynix chip, maybe Hynix CJR. I think after Samsung B die, this is the best RAM, but definitely the best memory that money can buy. I tested them with Asrock X470 and Ryzen 5 3600.
Pros: -It has Windows 7 drivers, also tool to create compatible Windows 7 installation pendrive. Very good job from Asrock. Actually this was one of the reason to buy rather this motherboard than the newer x570.
-Ryzen 3000 compatible, I am using with AMD Ryzen 5 3600. It started with straight out of the box, but the Oloy Warhawk 3600MHz memory modules were willing to run only at 2133MHz. After bios update I’ve got the desired 3600MHz speed.
-I have great single and multicore speed, Nvidia Geforce 1660ti also working very well with.
-The motherboard’s chipset consumes only 5W, while the newer X570 consumes 15W power.
Cons: -It would have been awesome if it has a second Nvme SSD slot and rather less SATA ports.
-Slow start, until Windows booting appears.
Overall Review: Great to find such a mini motherboard, that can offer so high performance with Windows 7. Hope it will take even Ryzen 4000 series too!
Pros: Purchased for AMD Ryzen 3000 series and it is not disappointing. Fast and furious, looking good, RGB!
Cons: None so far
Pros: Working straight out of the Box, had ok price with promotion code.
Cons: For the most of the laptops out there it just a DDR4 2400MHz CL17 RAM. It will not run faster, not even with I7-7700HQ or i7-8750H which are supporting 2666MHz speed. The JEDEC timing table in these RAM modules screewed up.
Overall Review: Buy instead the Kingston HX426S15IB2K2/16, that rocks at 2666MHz near CL15 timing.
Pros: It is the first 7mm 1TB laptop HDD, suits well for Ultrabooks. So far working without problem in my Samsung Series 5 NP530U4E Ultrabook. I did not run speed benchmarks, but feels as fast as the 9mm 1TB 5400RPM HDDs.
Cons: -Noisy, produce twice the spinning and clicking noise as my previous Seagate Momentus Thin 500GB HDD. It turns off very often for few seconds and start spinning again. I start to hate hearing that every time.
-Expensive, had to buy in the USA, than manage here to Europe. It was still expensive.
Overall Review: It could be much better with 8-24GB integrated SSD cache, not sure where those HDDs are, since WD were enthusiast to release 7mm 1TB drive with SSD cache.
Pros: The best 2x4GB Memory for AMD Trinity, it run 1600MHz, CL9 near 1.35V. That also involve cool operation and extended battery time.
Cons: I do not know better Trinity memory than these modules.
Overall Review: Now I'd like to see better RAMs, like 1600MHz CL7 or 1866MHz CL9 modules near 1.35V.
Pros: Working perfectly and fast! Before I had lot's of trouble with Sandforce chip based SSDs, but with this Samsung all the problems are disappeared.
Cons: price, but worth to invest the extra few $$.
Overall Review: I had to install Samsung Magician SSD program in Windows 7 compatibility mode, otherwise won't install under Windows 8.
Pros: Nice box.
Cons: Freezing, less than half speed as advertised and higher power consumption, difficult to flash firmware.
Overall Review: I have been tried to find solution for freezing and speed issues in OCZ forums, without any helpful comment. Instead of RMA or exchange they were keep telling me the problem is with my laptop. I did not believed, my 0.5 years old Dell is stable and works perfectly with HDDs, than have to work with SSDs as well. So I decided change the SSD rather than the whole laptop. The new Samsung 830 SSD significantly faster and solved all the freezing issues, also operating with lower temperature. Telling my latest experiences in OCZ forum they were just deleting my post... Shame I was OCZ fun before, never again.
Pros: Purchased three of these in discount and together they gives fairly enough light for my room. The light is more comfortable for my eyes than using CFL bulbs.
Cons: The discount price was still too expensive, especially they are not as bright as I expected.
Overall Review: I was hoping more powerful light, to use 3 bulbs in three different room. Now I have 3 bulbs is one room.
Pros: This is the best memory for AMD Llano. Improves performance even over Patriot DDR3 1600MHz CL11. I highly recommend for everyone who has AMD Fusion A8-35x0MX system!!!
Overall Review: It's gives performance increase in 1333MHz mod as well, since it is run CL8 instead of CL9.
Cons: It is my second drive with 1.3 firmware, but I still get blue screens and blue screens. At least this drive does not freeze for 30 seconds every two minutes. Hard Disk Sentinel says: "The health is determined by SSD specific attribute(s): 233 Media Wearout Indicator. It is recommended to backup immediately to prevent data loss."
Overall Review: I'm really blame myself that I did not listened other negative feedbacks. Now I would like to get back my money, but I can ask only replacement. I do not want spend more money for post office, especially if I know I will receive a similar bad drive.
Pros: This is really 1600MHz Ram, do not need overclocking or anything just plug in. Works great with AMD A8-3530MX APU.
Cons: Do not bring significant performance increase over 1333MHz CL9 Ram, I would wish to have 1600MHz CL9.
Overall Review: Some benchmarks:
A8 3530MX +8GB DDR3 1333Mhz:
A8 3530MX +8GB DDR3 Patriot 1600Mhz CL11:
Pros: 598GB usable capacity is good deal for 60 USD.
Cons: not as quite as my ex- 500GB 7200RPM Seagate and little slower.
Overall Review: It is great drive for secondary hard-drive, but for fast boot and application load I am use an SSD drive.
Pros: It has 159 running days without a single problem so far! Hard Disk Sentinel says hard disk status is PERFECT, both performance and health are on 100%.
It's speed also quite good, makes 100MB/sec read and write.
Cons: The only sound source in my laptop.
Overall Review: I am waiting for it's 2 platter 1TB version...
Pros: Lighting fast after using Pentium 4 CPU. It is also run lot more cooler and it will save energy too.
Cons: The included Heatsink is very small. I also could unlock the 4th core, but it working unstable.
Pros: High capacity, pretty fast, cheaper than the others.
Cons: I am using it in my Dell Latitude E6400, and the only thing is what I can hear is this new hard drive. The original 80GB 7200RPM fujitsu drive had less noise.
Overall Review: The first thing what I was doing to fresh the firmware to DE17 from Dell's site. This firmware fixes clicking noise. The ST9320421ASG firmware is compatible with this drive too.
As I tested this drive reading speed is about 85-90MB/sec, which is faster than other laptop hard drives.
Pros: I am replaced my old Seagate 7200.7 8MB SATA with this new ES.2, and the difference is amazing. The most important difference is the speed, which is twice more.
I run a systool test program from techpowerup, and the program said the old one has 59MB/s avarage read speed, while this new one avarage read speed is 121MB/s.
It is very quiet too, and run 6 Celsius degree cooler than my old one.
Overall Review: With this new drive the windows boot up is significantly faster, and the games are loading faster too. It is an amazing HDD!
