Cons: I wasn't able to lig into the AMD website, even serveral email exchanges and attempts.
Overall Review: I wasn't able to download the game. This whole thing lacks any website links or instructions. Even the people at AMD were no help. I don't think that they read my emails, becauset the replies were not in response to my requests or questions. DON'T WASTE YOU TIME WITH THIS! The CPU is excellent, but they just don't have a good website for this gift function.
Pros: Well ventilated, good layout, nice HD mounting system. It is attractive and important connections are up front.
Overall Review: I have purchased eight of them for myself and family and they are still the best value out there after four years since my first purchase.
Pros: Nice layout for micro ATX board. Two on board ssd sockets. Five fan/pump headers and heat sinks on the power regulators. One pci-e x1 slot behind the primary pci-e x16 slot.
Cons: Only four sata headers , but they are laying down to prevent contact with long video cards which is good. Memory chart is confusing and I had to use trial and error to get all four slots working at 32gb with two pairs of different brands. Initially the systen would force a restart with Windows Pro verions 1903 and 1909. Memory slot latches only work on one end of the slot. A tab exist, but it is fixed and exsessive pressure could break them. We seem to have to pay for AMU cpu video connectors witch are useless with non-AMU high performance cpu's.
Overall Review: I like the board a lot, since I figured out the memory pattern.
Pros: Always a relieable brand.
Overall Review: The speed of 2933 is the max internal menory bus speed of my Ryzen 2700X cpu. Faster speed doesn't seem to help this gen 2 cpu.
Pros: It was on sale
Cons: It won't work with either of my bluetooth headsets.
Overall Review: I tried everything that I could think of with no luck. Bluetooth is a flaky technology!
Pros: They worked great for about two years and then the speed started going down. I had a similar experience with my WD live wire set before I bought these.
Cons: They only lasted about three years before they were to slow to do streaming. They required frequent resets during the last year of life. I am using a 1gbs Google fiber system. They did work when new, so it isn't my house causing the issue.
Overall Review: I hope that newer units are more robust and last longer.
Pros: On chip R7 video, it is a compact full featured board ideal for a home theater PC. I have a A10 quad core cpu over clocked to 4ghz running for three years now. I bought it in 2015 from Newegg of course..
Cons: Some have had issues with windows 10, but a chipset update corrects this. I find the windows 10 isn't well suited for a HTPC. I tried it and it sucks.
Overall Review: I'm adding remote boot card today! 2.4 ghz remote start and reset if needed.
Pros: I don't know if it has any pro's, since it was ordered a week ago and I still don't have it. The Team brand has always been good for me.
Cons: I picked a venter who can't deliver product.
Overall Review: I won't use this marketplace vender again. I don't think that they had the product on hand.
Cons: The works at dialup speeds with or without the driver installed. You could use it to download a network driver on your laptop, if windows could find one. It ran at 0.5 mb/s on my amd ryzen 1600 system. I will save it for those times where you need to download a real NIC driver.
Overall Review: Just another waste of time and money.
Pros: Cheap and fits in USB port
Cons: It won't regonize either of my blue tooth headsets on any of my computers. It installs an shows up in the device manager etc, but it can't find any devices. My headsets work great with my laptop and windows 10. I think that the manufacture has a serious quality control issue. Mone is garbage. So many failed devices. Sad!
Overall Review: Total gagbage. How many must you buy to get one that works?
Pros: Come with hardware for most sockets types. It can be mounted vertical or horizontal. It does a great job of keeping temps well below the stock cooler.
Cons: Tall ram modules can prevent horizonal mounting.
Overall Review: Horizontal mounting blowing up is the most efficient, due to convection effect. A case vented at the top is recommended.
Pros: The tech support is good, if you can find the phone number.
Cons: All three installations one year use starts when you do the first install. If you are not going to install all three at the same time you will be cheated on the covered period. I discovered this when I did the third install later on and found little time left. After I installed the third time, they had made changes and it was a nightmare to use. The program was constantly popping up with security requirements. I uninstalled it and I will not buy this product again.
Overall Review: If you aren't going to do installations right away, buy the individual copies instead. Do the trial before you buy.
Pros: Easy installation. My oem Kingston 8gb memory was rated slower then the Ripaw module, after installation both sticks performed at the higher 2133mb/s ripjaw rating. This was great . This has never happen to me in all of the 48 years that I have been upgrading and repairing computers. That is right 48 years. It makes me kind of old, right.
Overall Review: Newegg got the ram to me a day early, arriving at the same time as my new laptop.
Pros: Great performing cpu. I have had the CPU for over a month now. It is running on a GA-990FXA-UDS R5 motherboad at 4.4ghz and 1,41Vcore with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO dual fan- CPU Cooler at 46c with all cores at 100% .
Cons: The low end heat sink was a disappointment. The more expensive cpu usually come with the AMD heat pipe cooler made by Foxconn. I would have bought next higher version to get a useable cooler.
Overall Review: Newegg should show a picture of the included heatsink, so that the customers won't be blindsighted. I have been using AMD cpus for over thirty years and this is the first time that they disappointed me.
Pros: Stable board with ample BIOs features. The sale price was good also.
Cons: Over clocking requires a FX processor. My Phenom II 965 wouldn't respond the cpu multiplier settings. I confirmed this with tech support after wasting a bunch of time changing cpu's and trying both bios versions. My 1600 mhz memory would only run at 1333 Mhz. I trired four different brands without success. It is because of the 1333mhz controller in the Phenom, per tech support. He never could say why the monitor software wouldn't see the cpu temp on some bios configurerations.
Overall Review: I think that it will make a good setup with my FX-8300. It is running at 4.0ghz with my FX-6300. I just hate these undocumented limitations.
Pros: Excellent performance and a great price with the discount.
Overall Review: The Newegg listing says that the memory works with AMD and intel, but my box says designed for Intel. I found the memory to work great on my AMD mother boards.
Pros: 80 plus and good build.
Cons: It comes only with a eight pin CPU power connector. It isn't split like many today. I couldn't use it on the current machine, because it is a four pin CPU socket MB and the other MB components were in the way. I will split the connector with a razor saw later, so that it will work on a four pin socket.
Pros: Easy setup and battery replacement. Compact size.
Cons: none for me
Overall Review: This is my second APC smart UPS and I have found the support to be good. The first unit failed, because of a relay. I decided to buy a new, more modern unit rather the repair the old one. I will fix it later and give to a relative.
Pros: Fast, large and cheap.
Cons: I had to use Acronis disk manager to partition the drive to full capacity. Windows 7 storage manager would get it done for me. A retail kit comes with software, cables, mounting brackets and screws. Toshiba has got the message yet.
Overall Review: I am very pleased with the drive. This is the second Tosiba that I bought and both are running fine.
Pros: Great price with bundle, easy install and stable performance. Quality build.
Cons: Bios is some what limited for tuning for best performance. I flashed the newest bios and it improved some. The advanced mode isn't very advanced. Maybe I am just used to the old layout.
Pros: They work great on Canon E-TTL camera with a 3.5 shutter release jack.
Cons: They won't work with Pentax P-TTL flash system.
Overall Review: They should fire the shutter on the above Pentax models, but the P-TTL won't work, because these are for Canon Cameras. I didn't buy from Newegg.com. I would mount them on the Pentax camera hot shoe, it may short the electronics.
Pros: Great sound and it has enough connections for a nice home theater setup. I got mine for $161.99 shipped, so I can't complain about the value for my money.
Cons: I don't like the light color of the lower front side. Most stereo components are black now. I haven't been able to get the AM tuner to get a signal yet. The user guide is almost worthless.
Overall Review: I adjusted the cross over for the speakers to 60hz and the sound improved as noted in another review.
Pros: Good sound and good value.
Cons: No output after 2.5 years. The tuner never worked, fortunately I did need it. It had a poor setup menu as do most low cost models and some high end as well.
Pros: This thing has everything, except USB 3.0. Excellent cooling and a switch to turn off the fan if desired. It is very quiet and well built.
Cons: The only thing that I had to do besides mounting a 2tb Samsung was add four felt feet to the bottom.
Overall Review: I use it as a external media drive for my HTPC computer. The e-sata port allows me to load it up with media from my desktop quickly. Who needs USB 3.0 when you have e-sata. The price was good too.
Pros: I have have been very pleased with these modular OCZ supplies for the past few years. I have four in service along with a few Antec units. You can't go wrong, especially with the excellent 3 year warranty.
Cons: The only issue that I have is the length of the cpu power cables. They are too short when used in the popular bottom mounting position. With two video cards you have to run the cable over the top of the cards and it is tight.
Overall Review: I wish that the cpu cables were modular also, so that I could lengthen them without voiding my warranties. Maybe OCZ people will read this comment.
