Most Favorable Review

day one, all good, in Ubuntu

NETGEAR WN111-100NAR RangeMax Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
NETGEAR WN111-100NAR RangeMax Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Plug and play in Linux (Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10, kernel 2.6.31-22). I got this to use with my new Rosewill RNX-EasyN4 802.11b/g/n Wireless-N 2.0 Broadband Router (also from newegg) because the built in wifi in my Asus UL 30V didn't connect very well from longer distances to this router. Plugged this in and it was immediately recognized. I switched the adapter using Wicd network manager, and, in the same room as the wireless router, it connected at -29 dBm signal strength as opposed to the internal wifi signal strength of -70 dBm. In the backyard of a brick house, it is connecting at -60 dBm. Haven't tried with Windoze but who cares! Ordered this 7/19, arrived 7/20. Refurb at $9.99. A steal.

Cons: Nada, zilch

Overall Review: Buy this without hesitation if you use Linux.
