Great card...but had issues.
Pros: This card was powerful, quiet and stayed cool. Ran firestrike very well along with a few other games I tested with it.
Cons: I had an issue with the display ports. After a week of trying 4 different monitors with the same issue of the card not recognizing the monitors, I did a RMA with newegg.
Overall Review: Taking one star off for miscommunication. My biggest complaint is with the RMA. Sent it back for replacement and got a refund instead. Was told I got the refund instead of waiting for the item to be restocked. The item was in stock with in less than a day of my refund.
Good GPU...but
Pros: The Maxwell chip is a performer with great features like low power and low temps. Its played every game I have thrown at it ( Farcry 4, BF3, BF4 ) at highest settings. Mine never gets over 60 degrees even overclocked with a boost clock of 1499. I got the promo backplate that is awesome. The cooling solution that EVGA has built into this card works well.
Cons: I do have some whine, not to bad but its there. The biggest con with this card is the BIOS! It has throttling issues, verified with GPUZ. This is where EVGA needs to do a update. There are some modded BIOS out there, but if you screw up or brick the board the warrant is no good. Newegg was fast.
Overall Review: I had previously got the Gigabyte G1, and sent it back due to a port issue. The G1 was superior to the EVGA FTW, in regards to overclocking head room, no throttling issues, and coil whine. I felt like EVGA let a long time customer down in regards to the quality I thought I would be getting from the EVGA name. I dropped 2 eggs for the BIOS needing to be updated, and the EVGA quality I didn't get.
GPU is great but newegg is terrible!
Pros: GPU worked right off the box! Stay cool no coil whine and very powerfull.
Cons: The only con is the bracket didn't work as expected. Would have been nice if the base was a magnet.
Overall Review: I gave 3 eggs because of neweggs ripping me off with the return of the GPU before this one
Very bice case!
Pros: This is a very nice case with lots of room. Well built, veru good cable management to boot. Glass is great.
Cons: I only have 2 real cons with this case. The first is the rgb integrated light strip. From what I have read it can be used without using a rgb MB header. If so I wish I knew how! Instructions are no use and support is nonexistent. Second is the way the back is setup. I bought this case to put my 360mm rad in the back. Issue is that the rad blows hot air behind the motherboard because of the cable cover has a large hole that air passes threw.
Overall Review: Overall I do like the case very much, but it would be nice if there was a way to find out how to hook the rgb up.
NICE FANS!
Pros: Great!
Cons: None.
Overall Review: They have nice airflow, and the RGB liughts are awsome! The remote is a nice touch to. Super easy to install. Everything worked out of the box, and all parts in box.
Coolermaster needs to do it better
Pros: Nice airflow, led fans (see cons) and my ATX MB fit.
Cons: Not to sure where to start. 2 LED fans were broke (fans off the motor). One side of the front grill not connected (dangling). The LED fans are cheap! The front cover dose not fit properly around the USB ports, so USB drive is hard to get in. In general cheap made.
Overall Review: This will be my last coolermaster product purchase. They have just gotten so cheap in build quality! I bought a coolermaster AIO and between missing perts, bad fans and now a pump thats not working properly, thats it! I don't expect this case to last very long, and now I have to deal with that RMA.
Great stuff!
Worked right out of the box and looks great!
Great cooler!
Easy to install and cools my 9900k @51 under 60c. Would highly recomend!
Why is it I pay for 2 day shipping , but takes 5 to 8 days?
