Beware dimensions3/11/2015 11:31:58 AM

Pros: I was not able to use this device so I can't provide any context other than what was to be listed on the specifications

Cons: The page for both the new and refurbished items of this hard drive do not specify any other dimensions other than form factor of 2.5" It is a lot taller than most laptop drives.

Overall Review: While I should have researched this product more thoroughly I had never had a product that I needed to RMA back to Newegg, I used my previous experiences to guide my purchase that should something have been important in description that Newegg would have specified it. Thankfully Newegg is honoring the RMA. Here are the dimensions of this drive: Drive Dimensions: Height: 14.80 mm (1.48 cm / 0.583 inches) Width: 70 mm (7.0 cm / 2.76 inches) Length: 100.50 mm (10.05 cm / 3.95 inches) Weight: 0.50 lb (8.0 oz / 226.79 grams)

Super Fun...BUT12/22/2011 12:51:33 PM

Pros: It's really fun to see this thing swimming around. Once you get the controls learned it is easy to use. Helium lasts a long time.

Cons: I think the cons kind of take the cake here though. 1. Not to simple to assemble, taping the fins on, seriously? 2. Can't really be used outside because of it being a glorified balloon and any wind makes it hard to control. So you're pretty much limited to indoors and if you have a small place... 3. It takes some time to get the controls down, since you have to learn to dive, climb, and turn. 4. The tricky part of making this swim is the movement of the rear fin, you have to control the sweeping movement so it's not like you have just press forward. 5. It's still Mylar, so no sharp things around or your fish will go pop.

Overall Review: Though I think the learning curve, and the assembly, and even the places you can use this thing are difficult and limited. I think it is great fun and that is why it gets 4 eggs. I'd love to take this to the mall or the park on a windless day and really have some fun with it. Also, my difficulty with this may not represent what others have experienced.

Inexpensive way to hang lights or cables12/14/2011 10:45:30 AM

Pros: Easy to setup Not much pressure needed to activate the staple gun. It's not like you have to use two hands. The cable guide makes it easy to know where the staple will be going and you don't have to worry about cutting into wires or missing it all together. It's also very light so you don't get tired holding it if you're up a ladder.

Cons: I have only found 2. 1. Pretty major but the staples aren't exactly easy to find. It could be that during the holidays these sell like hotcakes, so it should be simple since they do carry them year round. But I had to take off an egg because of that. Too many staplers and not enough staples. 2. If you are up a ladder you might want to increase the distance between staples and this gun isn't really designed to help those who like to reach for the extra few inches and still use the cable guide. Actually, I have to add three... 3. The staples used for this gun seem proprietary, so unless you get lucky and find another brand that will fit with insulated staples, you're somewhat stuck with size, so as much as I like this product I'll have to knock another star off.

Overall Review: All in all, it's a very useful and inexpensive tool. It's great for holidays and excellent for routing cat cable. I bought mine from a store for $10 and the refills for a hundred pack are only like $4 which makes it far cheaper than some other models.

Good sound for low budget8/26/2011 4:32:09 AM

Pros: The ear pads are like cushions on your ears. They even get more comfy as they age and get a little worn. Awesome bass and the so far the range in frequencies aren't that bad, very little to no distortion. I go on to rip the cord a new one on cons, but in a way it's also nice if you like to travel. It's short enough so that when you use these with either you phone or MP3 player that you don't have to tie the cord up. To each their own though.

Cons: Super short cord... I can't even go on to say how much I hate this cord. I had to buy an extender just so I could use it with my desktop and the way my desk is configured. Also the flat ribbon style is alright up to the point of the "Y" split. But if you are a neat freak it can take some time to figure out how to straighten it out.

Overall Review: I wanted to get these back when I tried them Wally World, there were better than my logitechs at the time, and though it doesn't have a mic for gaming, I found that I use them more so. They have stood the test of time, dogs, cats, a 3, 4, and 7 year old. Their almost as good as a Timex.

Super Easy and Slick to boot5/14/2011 1:23:31 AM

Pros: Easy to setup Easy to use External base for maneuverability High power antennae for better reception Great for someone on the go, either for a laptop or desktop

Cons: Haven't found any yet...

Overall Review: I bought this to hook a computer in another room to my network. At first I was concerned since, in my house the paint has lead in it, it's an old old old house lol, and that has made reception horrible. However, once I loaded the software and plugged it in, it worked like a champ. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to waste a pci slot for this!

Not what I expected5/7/2011 11:02:57 PM

Pros: Easy to plug in and go. DD-WRT availability. Slim factor. Great Range on Wireless.

Cons: Tech Service through Buffalo. Model Drops Wi-Fi unexpectedly, at least every other day. Default software makes it a paint to set up for anything for wireless.

Overall Review: I was pleased with this router when I first got it as I loved the idea of using dd-wrt on it. At first the router worked great, though it took a while to get security set up. Then I switched it over to dd-wrt and the wifi drops seemed to stop, now they have started back up again with an annoying regularity. Personally, I got lucky with a low price, but I should have known that you get what you pay for. I'd pass for a better supported router if I were, I've just had too many annoyances with this one.

Sony's Got a Winner10/29/2009 7:39:30 AM

Pros: These headphones can put out... They have a nice deep rich Bass that really makes you feel like you are in a theaters, while still giving you quality sound. You don't lose any of the higher pitches either. The huge cushion ear pads are also very comfortable, and thought the headband is hard plastic is doesn't ware on you.

Cons: Like any headset the ear muffs will wear on you after about 4 hours, so if you're a gamer, this might not be for you. The cord is a bit small, only about 3 feet if that.

Overall Review: I didn't get mine at newegg, but saw them on a special. As much as I like these I really these, I do think they are worth the $50, prolly around $35 because of the minor set backs of the cord and lack of band cushion. All in all though, a very good set of headphones.

Great Headset for mid-range3/11/2009 4:43:36 AM

Pros: *USB connection adapter *Long Cord *Adjustable Earpieces-moves forward and back and tilts *Folding design for tight storage-Earpieces and Mic *Price for what you get

Cons: *Long Cord *Can begin to irritate top of ears after extended (a few hours) use *Staticky Sound at high levels, speakers not able to blow eardrums *Cord extremely weak- if you're not careful you can cut the cord or burn through (if you smoke) DOH! *Wire connection in the in-line voume control unit very flimsy, icky(da egg wouldn't let me say p.i.s.s. or c.r.a.p.) poor soldering job. If it breaks there pray that you are an experienced electrician.

Overall Review: I had my pair for nearly a year and never once had a problem, aside from ear pain after wearing them for hours at a time. Then my dog got tangled up in the long cord and spooked and yanked cord, though the unit was plugged into the front of my PC and I reacted quickly, the in-line volume controller broke open and some of the wires inside broke free. Didn't even unplug from the PC. Also-Logitech's Customer Service is rather uptight when you want to talk to them. All in all, I would say great headset if you pay attention and take care of them. Price is decent for what you get as well.
