This fans look awesome and work great.6/4/2021 8:34:18 AM

Pros: - Great looks, really quiet. - Decent CFM

Cons: - CFM is slightly over a half of what one can get with Noctua, but the lights

Overall Review: Me and my kid were building a gaming rig for him, and he wanted all red illumination in his case. He wanted to go with red lighting in his case and this fans fit just right in. They also reduced the noise of the machine. Will live and see how long they last, but so far I'm happy.

On Z370-A 8700k works at 32gb xmp no problem, but had to drop to 3500 for 64gb12/2/2020 6:47:56 PM

Pros: - Is not "in your face" gamer type of ram - Still decent RAM and good price

Cons: - On XMP profile with Z370-A 8700k (OC 5Ghz) threw hammer issues on memory test. Dropping freq to 3500 solved the problem.

Overall Review: I'm going to keep it.

I've got this card. It truly is Vega 64 not 56. It works as Vega 64 supposed to work.5/3/2019 7:03:20 AM

Pros: - GTX 1080 / RTX 2070 level card, for way more reasonable price - Works as expected - Runs games at 3340x1440 with decent frame-rate (however something like Kingdom Come graphics settings have to be tuned down in order to stay in 60 avg range). - Decent packaging - Optional extended warranty

Cons: - The card is old, but considering lack on progress on the market... - The card is refurbished, and there is no way to know what exactly was fixed, and how long it will last (which is also true for a brand new card)

Overall Review: In my opinion this deal beats anything one can get from New (no doubt), Refurbished (GTX 2080 or RTX 2070 priced higher), Used (well one might find used 1080 priced lower). This is a good deal, not a brilliant, but a decent. I had my GTX 1070 for almost 3 years, and with current pricing there is nothing to upgrade to, this card looks like a path forward. I hope this card will last for some time (I have it for less than a week so far).

Wow. I did not expect it to make that much difference.4/18/2019 8:14:04 PM

Pros: - Lots of real estate moving from my old 2560x1080 monitor. Not like I did not have enough, but this one is way better. - Was delivered very quickly, even with eggsaver. Kudos, newegg - Colors are pretty - No tearing in games - Windows don't produce shadow when I move them around - Fonts look better - VESA mount - no problem - USB hub, speakers, Display Port, HDMI, DVI - everything included

Cons: - Looks like I would have to upgrade 1070 :( - My second monitor does not fit on dual monitor stand, would have to use an extender - This monitor is large - I don't want to use 1080p regular ones at work anymore :( - Besels are quite narrow on the top, so the webcam I have covers part of the screen (I get like a notch)

Overall Review: That does feel like a step up from 1080p ultrawide, not to speak anything smaller. Don't expect speakers to be loud or clear - those are there maybe for some video chats.

Does not have VESA mount holes, or vesa mount. It has to be purchased seprately.6/1/2017 8:19:47 AM

Pros: * Lightweight * Vivid colors * Good size, so it can be moved further away and still provide decent view area * HDMI can be used to feed built-in speakers - fewer cables needed * Power efficient

Cons: - VESA mount bracket is not included, and sold separately for ~$40, which is quite a big addition to the base monitor cost. The monitor does not have holes to screw it to VESA mount. (minus egg) - Besel on the top can be completely covered by a webcam's stand and if the monitor is on it's own stand - webcam might be covering upper part of the screen. - It takes quite a while for the monitor to figure out the input source, it always starts to iterate over all of them in order VGA->DVI->HDMI, and as soon as I use HDMI it takes about 15 seconds every time the screen resolution changes to get anything displayed on the screen. (minus egg)

Overall Review: Decent product. Esp. for the money. Speakers are not sub-par as expected, you can use them for Skype calling or some other noises, can work for movies where sound quality is not important, but come on. If you need decent sounds one would not expect it from monitor's built-in speakers.

Love the case11/3/2015 7:31:57 PM

Pros: Lots of space inside, lots of space at the back to manage the cables. 140mm fans. Illumination is not too much and not annoying. Looks sharp, matches everything I have near it.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I moved from a heavily customized mid-size tower, where I had 2 HDDs, 4 SSDs and a 310mm video card. Just to cool the old thing I had to have 5x120mm and 4x60mm fans (the old case did not have very good airflow). With this guy I just have default 2x140 and added 2 quiet 120mm making it 3 total and comparing to my old "jet" this thing is really quiet. I mean can still hear it, it is not a distracting and annoying white noise I had before.

Pure joy for PC enthusiast9/21/2014 6:53:34 PM

Pros: It works, and it removes headache to decide which CD to find or troubles from creating yet another USB flash drive to install OS. Also no software needed to install something from ISO. Also new firmware allows to have VHD mounted as real drive. Just cool!

Cons: Slightly confusing menu, and I updated firmware to non-ntfs (which came first on zalman website) and could not figure out why iso does not mount, then refreshed firmware to NTFS supporting and got everything right.

Overall Review: If you install and reinstall software multiple times and if you deal a lot with different OS installation - that thing's just a bliss!

Was skeptical initially, but it works fine.9/14/2014 7:39:27 AM

Pros: You plug it in, install driver and it delivers picture, or simply works and does not lag.

Cons: Slow if you use it with USB hub.

Overall Review: Did not try it on linux or mac.

Pros: It's fun. It's even better when you have a cat.

Cons: It does not have helium included. It's not designed to survive little children. It's too expensive for a toy which lasts for 2 days.

Overall Review: My kids ripped it apart in two days.

Love it.7/4/2014 2:25:55 PM

Pros: - It got better CPU than listed 1007U instead of 847, like two for one - After I installed ubuntu, it's just crazy fast - If you have spare 2.5 SSD and you plan installing ubuntu on it, it's worth upgrading - has a free slot to install extra memory - BEST in dissassemble-assemble. - 4 hours of battery - enough USB ports

Cons: - chromeos does not allow to install skype, so not usable for me (google hangouts require better internet that most of my counterparts have) - in ubuntu mouse cursor freezes sometimes - installing ubuntu might be tricky for an average user - no 5ghz wiif (c'mon for $100??) - no usb3

Overall Review: It's a great replacement for my old acer aspire one, which was nice but slow

Pretty good vaccuum6/14/2013 11:05:23 AM

Pros: Nice and small, cleans sand and dust, works as expected.

Cons: If it was a little bit thinner I could've put it in a trunk to the spare section, now it does not fit, has like an extra 1/3 inch.

Overall Review: That's my first car-vac, so did not know what to expect. Was not disappointed. Helps me keep the car clean even when kids come back from a park or a beach.

Pros: Looks good

Cons: Did not work right away. Waiting for RMA.

Nice card with minor issues.4/30/2013 11:00:29 AM

Pros: - Great performance, gave me good FPS on everything I played on it. - Consumes way less power than my old VC (nvidia gtx 260) - Way cooler and quieter than my old card - Got it on sale from newegg and price is still competitive

Cons: - Does not work with one of two PCI-e slots on my MB, other card does work. The second slot is the bottom one, so everything happens to be tight now - Linux dirvers from AMD are somewhat always `beta` both open-source and closed-source. - I don't have much time to enjoy games I got this thing for, have to pay bills.

Not bad but can not do any photos.4/30/2013 10:51:30 AM

Pros: It is wireless and it's laser, so - I can easily have it anywhere I want, not only on my desk - You don't have to clean it up if it is not used for a while. It works with Linux, but needs special drivers

Cons: - Trial cartridges are definitely too small - It's hard to calibrate it, and without it no way to print any photo, just color pictures - It gets stuck with anything wider than standard all-purpose paper.

Overall Review: I like it overall, and colors are brighter than I expected. So I packed my old laser black and white printer and trashed my ink color printer, now have to find good photo paper for it and calibrate.

Works for me1/8/2013 7:50:12 AM

Pros: Price and buck / Gb * speed ratio.

Cons: It is SATA II so for many with SATA III motherbords it is not a full speed thing. Firmware and controller are outdated, so... what? :)

Overall Review: I got it to give a second chance to my Dell E6400 laptop. Well this little thing turned things on! The laptop now is quiet and Ubuntu starts almost instantely and even Vista starts fast. All the programs started like 'click' -> 'no wait' -> 'start using'. The only downside here it does not affect my wifi and when laptop comes back from hibernate I have browser started and ready to go, but wifi still coming :). BTW. Good deal if you don't need SATA III.

Had issues then solved everything.12/23/2012 12:44:12 AM

Pros: It works, it helps me with my xbmc setup, so I don't have to stick with wireless keyboard in most of the cases.

Cons: It does not work with ubuntu 12.04 and lower (which means does not work XBMCbuntu.

Overall Review: I tried making it work with XBMCbuntu, no luck. Then I tried it with ubuntu 12.10 and it works. In lirc set reciever configuration as Windows Media Transrecievers (all), then install xbmc-standalone and everything clicks fine.

Good phones, not the best in the price range.12/19/2012 10:25:57 AM

Pros: I got them on sale for $17.something, Sound quality is awesome for $17 headphones, Long and durable cord.

Cons: HD 202 and HD 203 sounds way better, being priced about the same.

Overall Review: That's my second 201, the first one lasted for several years without issues until I stepped on it and cracked them.

Nice wheel11/29/2012 9:01:29 AM

Pros: Great wheel. Right size and solid build and materials. It adds a lot to racing games experience. Love it so far. The price for refurb on a black friday deal was sweet.

Cons: Charger is a big box, not quite uses plenty of space in a surge.

Overall Review: That's for sure awesome upgrade from my old tiny cheap wheel. Still did not get used to force-feedback and not quite sure if I want to have it on, but the wheel itself is great. I hope it will last, and looking at the parts quality it should.

Rebate was a bad joke, right?11/20/2012 11:26:06 AM

Pros: I use the device and it works, see my previous review down there.

Cons: The rebate center declined my rebate, and there is no option to contact them claiming I did not send receipt for them: 1) It is clearly stated in rebate terms, that they need "copy of reciept" not "the reciept", which they definetely have. 2) Such a poor excuse, without a way of verification, This is not a great deal anymore. For the money I could get a better product. Please disregard my previous good review.

Got it when my son turned 110/26/2012 6:54:49 AM

Pros: Cheap, stylish.

Cons: Did not last long, thrust control has an spring returning it back, so its hard to keep flying straight. Plastic parts (like fake rockets) fall off really fast.

Overall Review: For the money I paid for it - it's fine. Kids had fun with it, me too. I got another one later.

Do not expect to get 200Mbit10/19/2012 6:57:42 AM

Pros: It helps you get distant computer or video box connected to your local network / internet with stable and reliable connection.

Cons: The bandwidth changes dramatically with the distance.

Overall Review: Expect getting about 75Mbit 30feet from one plug to another (you can transmit HD video) and about 8Mbit (just bare internet browsing) when it's closer to 50feet. There is a reason cable companies use coax and networks built with eth cables. If you want to have good bandwidth and don't want to wire your place with cables all around - get a good wifi router and several wifi repeaters.

Upd to: got it several hours ago (7/17/2012 8:56:02 PM)10/15/2012 10:27:20 AM

Pros: USB, microDVI are still there. I will use it as a internet/media extension to my TV

Cons: Touch Screen died in 3 months.

Overall Review: I wrote another review earlier "got it several hours ago"(7/17/2012 8:56:02 PM) and now I own the thing for about 3 months. This thing traveled with me about 1000 miles, and finally touch screen died. I can touch anywhere nothing happens. It still has USB port so I attached USB keyboard and mouse and can use it as a mini-pc. I consider using it as a media extension to my TV when I get wireless keyboard. Let's see when it dies completely.

Good reader. Did not last long5/29/2012 4:48:12 AM

Pros: E-ink screen. epub files supported. Books uploading is easy, just plug it in and copy them.

Cons: The e-ink screen is slow and battery life is poor comparing to nook simple touch or s0ny reader or amzon k1ndle. I had two of them mine and my wife's. After about 11 months both screens stopped working properly: half of the screen shows what you expect and second half shows static black, so if you get one make sure you have extended warranty.

Overall Review: I would rate it higher if my two devices did not break almost at the same time.

What's wrong with you people?12/21/2011 1:18:43 PM

Pros: I got it fast. The old newegg is back!

Cons: Have no idea. It is still in the box.

Overall Review: Newegg sent me a link to a product most people buy with this massager. And it is HDMI TO HDMI cable. How are those connected??? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=12-189-053&nm_mc=EMCPP-DAILY_122011&cm_mmc=EMCPP-DAILY_122011-_-content-_-Item-_-12-189-053

Great reader, but something wrong with delivery12/20/2011 6:36:49 PM

Pros: - It has very fast e-ink screen. - It supports epub and has nice pdf reader out of the box - It has usable web-browser - It allows you to access internal android 2.2 and root it, installing fbreader and coolreader to support every available book format around. - it is light - i have it for less than a week, it is still alive on one battery charge - multitouch screen

Cons: - There was something wrong with newegg. I got my package delivered from NJ to MD in 6 days. Usually it takes 2 days for newegg to deliver something... - The touch screen's too sensitive. You can touch it with a hair and it flips a page. - The buttons seem clumsy. I don't know... still have an impression they wont last long.

Overall Review: I broke my previous ereader which was Kobo reader. It fell on a floor and half of the screen died. I hope nothing like that would happen to my sony reader, but now I understand that e-ink screens are very sensitive.
