Hyperx did it right!
Pros: 53mm drivers, they actually go around my ears not on! Detachable mic, so its not always in the way. built with similar technology that beyerdynamic uses in their headphones. (of course not to the same level) This headphone actually sounds wonderful for the money. It is made with aluminum so it will will last a long time and will still be light and comfortable to wear for many hours.
Cons: Detachable mic, I am not sure if this connector is sturdy, I unplug and plug my mic a few times a day. Mic, the quality on the mic isn't the best but at least there isn't any static or distortion in the sound.
Overall Review: I heard hyperx cloud version 2 will be the new and improved version of this. It will be the ultimate headset that is actually worth the money. My old headset had a strong clamping force and the drivers were 40mm and it was uncomfortable after a couple hours of use. I will always have to take a small break. I replaced them with the Hyperx Cloud and I love how the Hyperx Cloud feels on my head.
Cheap
Pros: Cheap in price.. Arrived on time. It fits my big head.
Cons: This is made of very cheap quality, feels like i can easily break it by accident. Not comfortable when trying to use for more than 1-2hours. Super long cord that gets tangles up really easily. I personally dont like the long cord, but i guess its my fault for not reading the specs. I just bought it because it was cheap.
Overall Review: I guess you get what you pay for. I guess its both a good and bad thing that its very cheap quality, i wont feel bad if i lose it or break it. I mainly use this while commuting. Better than no music at all.
Awesome GPU 1440p sweet spot
Pros: -This gpu is awesome. I can play most games at 1440p on medium and high settings no problem. -8gb ram, higher bandwidth to support more than 1 monitor and higher resolutions than 1080p -Direct X 12, and freesync support. -fans don't spin up until the GPU is in use. -comes with free xsplit (only good for streamers)
Cons: -It does not allow MSI Afterburner to detect the temperature for OSD (on screen display) and Asus's GPU Tweak 2 is a terrible program compared to MSI Afterburner because it doesnt use R i v a T u n e r or its equivalent to show the OSD. -Also the RGB LED does not sync up with my Asus Maximus Hero VIII. Arua for the gpu and Arua for the motherboard. If only Asus can combine both Arua programs to work together so that the lighting affects can be the synced up to look better. -yes I took off a star for these two issues.
Overall Review: -Do not get this GPU if you plan to only play games at 1080p -This will be a 5 start review if ASUS fixed the two issues I listed in the Cons, the temp sensor and the Arua software. -If I knew about this temp sensor/monitoring issue and Arua software issue I would of waited for a different version of this card like MSI or XFX to be in stock.
One of the BEST routers out there
Pros: -gigabit ports -tri-band, one 2.4ghz, and two 5ghz bands. -works well and can provide a good signal for over 15 devices connected at the same time. -does not crash often compared to other routers. -easy firmware update through the asus software. -provides full 90mbps down / 12mbps up through both the wired and wireless -POWERFUL signal (see other)
Cons: -wish the led was rgb, different color for different state.
Overall Review: -sometimes led was on but wifi was not working (simple fix was just to restart the router, might need to restart the router maybe once a month, dont know if its router or comcast issue) I had to restart my previous cheap routers like twice a week because it kept disconnecting or cannot handle more than 8 devices at a time, I can connect over 15 devices on this router and it doesn't even sweat. -I use to use a cheap tp-link router, and it would cover my house and maybe 1/2 of my neighbor's house, (townhouse setup) This asus router can cover 2 and 1/2 of houses over, with high speeds, at the 3rd house the speed will be lowered but that is a lot of walls to go through. -it is worth all the $$$ i paid for it when this first came out, now its super affordable. Best upgrade ever for people who wants worry and stress free connectivity.
Awesome AIO liquid cooler
Pros: -works well to cool my 6700k at 4.6ghz, I can overclock to 4.8ghz stable but was not worth the extra heat and noise. -has RGB capability -fitted into the Fractal Design R5 case with a Asus z170 Maximus Hero VIII board. -cools slightly better than a Cooler Master Hyper 212+
Cons: -can get pretty loud since it has both pump and fan noise. (might be getting louder as its getting older) -rbg was not well supported yet and was not popular yet at the time of purchase.
Overall Review: -a wider 280 rad didnt fit with my motherboard (Asus Hero ViIII) and case (Fractal Design R5), so I picked this one up instead.
works as is, good for dampening keyboard sounds.
Pros: -works well to dampen the clack sound of when the key hits the backplate, so it do not disturb co-workers while working/ typing. -basically the same as the o-rings from WASD.
Cons: none
Overall Review: -it came free as a combo with a Rosewell Mechanical Keyboard (RK-9000V2 BR) -wish the combo came with a keycap puller too.
