Pros: Low power only 35W max, idle is even lower like 10W
Hyper threading 2 per core
great for a lower system with some kick..
Cons: Only two cores, I wanted the Intel Core i5-4460T which has 4 cores @ 35W, but they're not sold boxed, and are hard to find at a decent price.
Overall Review: Ues this for a NAS box, wanted something with decent performance for video/audio encoding at a reasonable power consumption since it running 24/7.
Pros: The real deal not a cheap aftermarket bulb. Tv just like new nice and bright.
Cons: Didn't come with the housing, but it was easy but in my existing housing.
Overall Review: This is an OEM replacement bulb, they're a lot of knockoffs out there. The first bulb I got off A..zon was a cheap aftermarket bulb, it wasn't as bright, and it lasted only 6 months!
Pros: Light weight
Cons: Not to comfortable for me, ears started hurting after a hour of use.
Easy to slide off your head.
The sound is ok but for the price you can do better, bass is ok not great, and the mid-range and highs are lacking.
Seems cheaply made.
Overall Review: Its an OK unit for 25.00 bucks, not worth 50.00.
Pros: This is really a nice case, it has everything, with a nice layout that's easy to install components.
Pros: Nice features for the price.
Cons: No ASUS Q-fan for the chassis fan, just CPU fan. The modes for the CPU fan, Silent, Optimized, and Performance all run the CPU fan at the same speed! 1800 RPM. I'm using a Dynatron K987 Cpu Cooler. The temp on the CPU is 28C!
Pros: Simple plug and play! Works great under both windows 7, and Linux (I use it with fedora 12). Got it cheap with shell shocker deal.
Cons: A PATA interface would have been nice.
Pros: Runs Quiet, cools well, multiple ways to connect for either 12v or 5v operation.
Cons: none really
Overall Review: This was a replacement cooler for my Asus geforce EN9500GT, which sounded like a jet engine, and was starting to hum. I ended up just using the connector off the stock fan, and connecting the VF700 to the connector power connector on the video card, so the video card could control the fan. just remember to hook black to black, and red to red, or yellow to yellow. it only uses 2 wires.
Pros: Nice features, good price with rebate. works well with Linux.
Cons: The fan is too loud, this fan is louder then the case and cpu fans!
Pros: its fast 7200, runs cool, Great price+rebate for a 2TB drive.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: This is a nice switch for the price, no issues installing just plug, and play. All the computer work with this switch at the correct speed, i have a mixture of 100mb, and 1gb machines they all work. good throughput. Small size. good solid build.
Cons: None yet!
Overall Review: I was a little concerned at first because some people were saying the fan was loud, but its not loud at all! I think its pretty quiet. but i don't have it setting on my desk either :-).
Pros: Nice features, low price, small size, and works great so far! No problems connecting to computers.
Cons: Documentation sucks! I The wizard didn't work for me, I was able to figure everything out and set things up manually. The web configuration was at 192.168.0.1 this wasn't stated no where in the docs.
Overall Review: Get the latest firmware.
Pros: Great while it works!
Cons: This thing is a pain, very poor reliability I made the mistake of buying two of these, both went bad within in a year. Doing the RMA thing every few months is no fun. Netgear will try to figure out a way to charge you the cost for another unit. I won't buy Netgear again!
Pros: It's really the Nokia N95-3, not the fake! I been using it for a couple of days now, so far everything works great, GPS, Email, Web, radio, video and music player. I love it.
Overall Review: download the latest firmware update from nokia.
Pros: Good sound, with HD up conversion for a cheap price. easy setup, nice speakers. works for me.
Cons: Would have been nice to have a couple more digital inputs, but I had a 3-way digital switch that works nice.
Overall Review: I needed a cheap system for my bedroom and this worked out nicely. i'm using it with an htpc computer, and 32" samsung HD 720p tv.
Pros: Excellent HD picture, and also SD picture. plenty of inputs. Easy menu system for configuration. fast channel scanning, and channel changing. picked up all HD channels in my area without any problems. Will display 1080p. solid build.
Cons: Speakers aren't the best but i heard worse, they're not as bad as some people say.
Overall Review: I picked this samsung after a lot of comparing, i could not tell the difference between the 1080p and 720p sorry people may be its my eyes, the samsung 1080p TV looks the same as the samsung 720p TV. may be its the screen size that maters? I'm very happy with this choice so far.
Pros: 1GB speed, and cheap.
Pros: Low power, duo core, good support, I didn't have any problem loading fedora 10, or vista ultimate on this board. This might seen carzy but I think Vista runs really good on this board, every thing works (on board vga, svideo works well under vista) Fedora 10 has problems with the svideo its a known bug with xorg.
Cons: The north bridge fan is a little loud, I replaced it with another 40mm fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835191002) just make sure you get a 40mmx40mmx10mm fan.
Overall Review: I put this together for my bedroom, nice little cheap HTPC setup, plays all my video collection with out any problems, mpeg, divix, avi, mp3. this turned out pretty good, I was thinking about getting one of them popcorn hours, glad i went this route, i have so much more for just 50 dollar more.
Make sure you get all the updates from intel; bios and drivers.
System config: 2GB ram, 500 GB SATA drive, SATA DVD r/w drive, and ita case, flash card reader;
Cons: This thing is a piece of junk, it doesn't work with vista 32 reliably most of the time it will only transfer at 800K! It reboots a lot also.
Pros: None, its not reliable!
Cons: Has problems working with Vista, the drive will just stop working I have to shut down the computer for it to start working again. Tried the driver on there website it doesn't work!
Pros: Good manageability, gigabit ethernet connection, 2 USB 2.0 ports for expandability with external USB drives, or UPS power supplies. Web interface. I get excellent throughput.
Cons: The manageability of the external USB drive should be at the folder level. You set permission at the drive level for the external USB interface. So you can't create folders with different permissions. This is preventing me from giving it a 5 star.
Overall Review: Works great with my network configuration, and I have several different pc's with Linux, and windows xp all accessing the unit with no problems. for people who have complied about bad throughput it may be your switch, some cheap switches will drop to the slowest connect device speed. ie if you have 100mb,1gb it will drop to 100mb.
Pros: Nice features, and fast throughput.
warranty my first unit had 3 years!
Netgear is offering Lifetime warranty now I wounder why?
Cons: Not reliable, the first unit went bad after a month of use, the replacement unit just went bad after 6 months of use! I got the flashing light deal that everyone is talking about! And I just purchased another one of these from newegg a couple weeks ago, I think may be I should have got another brand. what good is a lifetime warranty if you have to replace it every 6 six months, you still have to pay for shipping.
Overall Review: Get this Netgear give me 3 options
1) ship the unit back I pay the shipping ( which i did, and it cost me $5.00 bucks)
2) They send me a return shipping label for $16.95!
3) They send me a new unit with a return shipping label for $29.95
They got to be kidding, I did the option number 2 six months ago. I complained, and told them next time I'll buy something else. ps it would be so nice to talk to customer support people that speak understandable English!
Pros: Excellent board layout, with all the necessary features on board
The on board video, and sound is excellent. Theirs no need for an external graphics card, or sound card. This is a BTX design the cooling, and sound levels are excellent, i can barely hear it running. I have it in a silverstone LC15 case, running windows xp MCE 2005 OS. I picked this BTX board and case for the small foot print, cooling, and low noise levels.
Cons: it would be nice to lose the rs232 connection, and add bluetooth instand.
I had to update the bios to intels lastest rev. no big problem.
Overall Review: it would be nice to lose the rs232 connection, and add bluetooth instead.
I had to update the bios to intels lastest rev. not big problem, and it was easy to do.
Pros: cheap price
does the job
Cons: none for the price
Pros: cheap price.
Cons: short cable
Overall Review: did not improve my reception
