MY First Gaming Rig
Pros: I love this case. It's great for entry level gamers. The two-toned glass is way cool and easy to remove and replace. The case opens to a stage were you can just go crazy with creativity. Read the Manuel that comes with it to get a feel for all the bells and whistles.
Cons: Cons - I have none.
Overall Review: Would I recommend this to others. Yes, this is a cool case that's easy to work with and allows for TONS of creativity.
Pros: I bought the ThermalTake case and the Kraken M22 was bundled with the case. I am impressed with the RGB lighting feature and the Kraken M22 performed as expected (it works). Although I'm only cooling the Ryzen 3 3200G, this AIO cooling solution does not have to work hard.
Cons: The CONS I have is the fact that I feel the software being used for this device could be better (lighter). Right now I feel that NZXT CAM is bloatware full of tracking software. It can't Identify items not native to the company such as cooling (really?), Power, and Audio. Since the RGB lighting is the only thing I can control in this software, then that should be all I see in the function/device column. Everything else seems suspect to me. . . So, get rid of the bloat. I only need the software to turn the RGB lights on the AIO. Since that is ALL I can do with this software, the rest is useless BLOAT.
Overall Review: Would I recommend the product to other people? Depends on what they are trying to achieve. Entry level gaming with a low end CPU, Sure Kraken M22 is great for that. Serious gamers should not waist their time and risk frying an expensive CPU. A serious gamer would know better to avoid this product anyway. If given the choice, would I purchase this product again? No, because my next choice will not be an entry level gaming rig. If there is something about the product you could change, what would it be. Trim down the NZXT CAM software. Since the only thing I can control with this software is the lights, then that should be the only function I see, the PC monitoring is useless not to mention inaccurate. Steam, Windows, Nvidea all have a gaming feature. Why does NZXT CAM need to have one too. Never gonna use it and I'm not allowing the software to autostart, I only need to turn on the lights after a system power cycle. NZXT CAM is a waste of PC resources. Just make it turn on the RGB lights on the AIO cooler and that's it. Or, you could actually make the BLOATWARE useful. Your call. . .
