Modestly Priced and Reliable

Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664BA1339
Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664BA1339

Pros: I bought one of these kits after reading an exhaustive review of DDR3 memory on Tom's Hardware. I have had the first kit for a little over 6 months and have had 0 problems. I just recently purchased a second kit, when it was on sale, to go up to 8GB, and it has worked perfectly so far. No flashy heatsinks, no overstated "gaming" performance claims, just quality manufacturing and reliability.

Cons: This is quite literally the only negative I can think of...the molded plastic packaging is annoying. However, everything is packaged in that stuff.

Overall Review: While I am of the opinion that there is no practical gain to be had by overclocking memory, this Crucial kit can clearly handle it better than most based on the reviews I've seen.

Solid Keyboard for the Price

Logitech G110 LED Backlighting Gaming Keyboard
Logitech G110 LED Backlighting Gaming Keyboard

Pros: -Well built -Overall nice key and feature layout -Volume roller is a nice change from up/down buttons on my other keyboard -Included palm rest, while a common inclusion with keyboards, is always appreciated -Built in USB slot makes my cable management so much easier -Plenty of macro keys for those that are interested in that kind of thing -The Logitech software seems very well laid out and intuitive for my purposes so far -Ability to switch between Red, Blue, Pink, Purple, etc for backlight is a nice touch. -Playback controls seem to work just fine with applications like Spotify. I'm not sure if that's the norm but it wasn't something I necessarily expected to integrate so I was pleasantly surprised.

Cons: -Keys feel a little cheaper than my previous keyboard (Saitek Eclipse) but are still above average -Channels under the keyboard for routing cables require a little scotch tape to realistically be used -Some others have mentioned the macro keys are close enough that I sometimes hit them rather than Esc or Tab. However, this means that those keys are easily within reach and I'm confident that this problem will be resolved by retraining the muscle memory.

Overall Review: As with the keys, it feels just a half notch down in build quality from my old Saitek but that keyboard has performed excellently for 6 years so I expect this one will perform quite well for the foreseeable future. I Got this at a nice price ($40). I probably wouldn't have purchased it at its current price of $70 as it's got some more competition at that price point. I haven't tried the macro keys yet but that's just because I'm not familiar with using macros. They seem pretty well laid out and I'm looking forward to finding some good uses/abuses for them.

Logitech NX80 Black 5 Buttons Tilt Wheel Cordless Laser 1000 dpi Mouse for Notebooks
Logitech NX80 Black 5 Buttons Tilt Wheel Cordless Laser 1000 dpi Mouse for Notebooks

Pros: Low Price ($19.99 w/ free shipping), easily recognized by Windows XP, place to hold USB receiver inside the mouse, included zippered carrying pouch (unexpected for an OEM product)

Cons: Overall build quality is a little below average. The buttons and some outer shell panels seem a bit too thin and flimsy, but I'll have to see if that has any negative effects over the long term. However, I expected the slightly lower build quality based on other reviews. It was shipped in a standard flat bubble mailer so the box was kind of mangled when I got it. The mouse itself doesn't appear to have been damaged but that's why I dropped an egg.

Overall Review: Newegg's shipping is still, hands down, the best I've ever had the pleasure to use. Fast order processing, fast shipping, and a clean, accurate tracking interface. Keep up the good work.
