good board

ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: easy setup, came with more than I needed, AI software works great, overclocks E4400 just fine, runs my gskill ddr2 800 great. Runs cool. My 2600XT fit on board without blocking anything and it is a double wide.

Cons: it has problems with boot order sometimes when setting up cable select on ATA IDE drives.

Overall Review: Would be nice to have another PATA slot but sata is replacing it anyways.

GSkill is amazing

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ

Pros: Running at 5-5-5-12 900mhz at 2.1 v for 6 months now and completely stable. Have run it at 2.0 v 4-4-4-12 800 for few months before that. have 4 sticks all run fairly cool for 2.1v stuff is amazing allowed my e8400 to get 4.05ghz at 1:1.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Get this while supply is high. Because this can only go up in price from here.

Great Card

MSI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R4870-T2D512 OC
MSI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R4870-T2D512 OC

Pros: Runs everything on max, everything! Currently Im only running on a 19 inch monitor so even running crysis it flies since its only in 1280-1024.

Cons: hot, but riva tuner takes care of that. loud but you get used to it.

Rosewill RD550N-2DB-SL-BK 550W ATX Form Factor 12V V2.2 / SSI standard EPS 12V SLI Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Running OCed C2D, a 4870 OCed, 5 hds, 1 dvd, 1 dvdrw, 2 pci cards with no problem whatsoever eXtreme Power Supply Calculator v 2.5 estimates at 100 peak load Im running 523 watts, do not have any issues running anything.

Cons: none thusfar

Overall Review: great

Awesome

MSI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R4870-T2D512 OC
MSI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R4870-T2D512 OC

Pros: Running everything I throw at it with no problem. Nothing I have run as of yet can slow it down. Crysis, Clear sky, bioshock, COD4, Age of Conan. FPS is amazing in everything.

Cons: Heat is a little higher than my MSI OC 2600XT was but running RIVA tuner 2.11 with scheduler which does lets me set my own temp setting for speed of fan which turns out to to work really well so not a big con. (took 10 minutes to setup)

Overall Review: Think my processor is bottlenecking it might need a new cpu soon.

Great

ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro - Compact Multi-Compatible Tower CPU Cooler | 92 mm PWM Fan | for AMD AM4 and Intel 115x CPU | Recommended up to 115 W TDP
ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro - Compact Multi-Compatible Tower CPU Cooler | 92 mm PWM Fan | for AMD AM4 and Intel 115x CPU | Recommended up to 115 W TDP

Pros: Quick easy install, dropped temps on E4400 OCed @ 3.0ghz by 10 degrees C verses stock intel cooler.

Cons: the quick connectors never seem to lock as tight as you want them to but seems like its on there good. If I was doing a new build where I had the mobo out I would get a cooler with a mounting bracket, but for something simple and low cost for great cooling this was not something I could pass by.

Overall Review: Great cooler.
