Nice picture but so so sound
Pros: For the price you really can't complain. The picture over all is nice and the TV seems to be solid.
Cons: The sound gets pretty tinny when you bring the volume up past a certain level. The sound seems to be alright through the HDMI connection when you are playing blu-ray but playing netflix or hulu the sounds gets worse.
Overall Review: I would probably only recommend this as a bedroom TV.
I love this case!
Pros: Nice spacious interior to any configuration of the motherboard. It is also deep so it provides a great accommodation for my monster air cooler for the processor. The bottom mounted PSU seems to be alright though I am a little concerned about cooling since it is on my rug and I feel it doesn't provide enough clearance to cool. The fins and fan controls are excellent. I love the ability to adjust the fan speed and fins for when I am sleeping and the computer isn't running hard. USB 3.0 on the front which is nice along with an ESATA. The back has a bunch of great connections and the fact that I can power my IPOD while the computer is off is great.
Cons: The mesh is removable but is a pain to get back on. Also I have an issue that if you hit it with the compressed air sometimes it will fly off. Switch for the fins on the top is a little flimsy, I am always convinced I am going to break it but so far it has held up.
Overall Review: I used the black version for a friend of mine when I helped him build a computer. I loved it so much I needed my own! Power switch feels like it needs to be depressed more than it really does. A light tap turns the computer on. The lit up Thor emblem is a little odd. I would suggest watching the Newegg video attached. It helped for figuring out how to put in the DVD drives.
Great card for running the internet on your TV
Pros: This card is great for what it is built for. I personally use it to connect directly to my TV with the awesome full size HDMI cable. It is my way of getting around Hulu Plus's "web only" restrictions. Anyway I have not had any lag with videos and seems to run everything smoothly. The HDMI port that is full size is great and the option of VGA or DVI is nice as well.
Cons: Price? Even at the price listed I am pretty pleased though since everything else in the price range did not include a fan. I just don't like having a video card that doesn't have a fan even if it is low power enough not to need a fan.
Overall Review: No fan noise issue. I bought this video card for my older Core2Duo build. The original 8800 died after a long run of service and I needed something cheap with an HDMI hook up. I would say do not expect to overclock this card in any way to run the newest games. I will say I am surprised how admirably it performs though in what I need it to do. I only knocked off an egg due to the fact it can not go up to a super high resolution that I would like but at the same time you really don't need to it go higher when connecting it to a TV.
Hardware is solid!
Pros: The internet speed is fast and connecting to it is fairly easy. Over all the actual use of this product is great. The hardware side is rock solid and from what I can tell the range is pretty good. I do only have a town house so I don't need the massive range some people require. I have 3 wired devices and 5-6 wireless devices connected some on the 5 ghz band and some on the 2.4 ghz band. The internet does not seem to be taking a hit and is working well for me.
Cons: The software...the software and the set up of this device is the thing of nightmares. If you can get through the set up you will love this router. The problem is that even with the glossary on the right hand side you still have to go into just about every setting to find out where everything is. Almost nothing is in a place that makes sense and anything that is still finds a way to be a pain. If they can update the firmware in the future this router may earn the 5th egg but until then it stays at 4.
Overall Review: Comcast made a router that is a pain to set up even worse. If you have a comcast router you may need to power cycle the router a few times. At least that was my experience.
