Pros: 500gb wd for fair price

Cons: horrible QA. drive did not recognize when stuck in external case. hooked directly to computer as an additional drive and had to low level format first in order to partition it without it locking up. after a week i now have file corruption.. it tries doing a disk scan at startup and unable to read when finally in windows.

Cons: WENT INTO PERMANENT PROTECTION MODE LESS THAN A MINUTE AFTER BEING INSTALLED. ABSOLUTE TRASH. MUST BE USING DOLLAR STORE CAPACITORS FRESH OFF THE CHINESE WAGON. HARMON KARDON IS OFFICIALLY ON THE BAN LIST. USING SUB STANDARD PARTS TO CUT COSTS WHILE RIPPING OFF THE CONSUMER YET AGAIN!
