Pros: - High quality
- Awesome warrenty
Cons: - none to date
Overall Review: I just received the unit but I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. In the interest of full disclosure, they are incentivizing customers to leave reviews with a 'FREE $25 STEAM eGift card'.
Cons: freezes frequently. ASRock seems to have no solution other than recommend replacing the board: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7651&PN=1&title=asrock-ab350m-pro4-freezing
Cons: Constantly throws 'PHY write failure' errors and freezes pfSense.
Pros: You can kinda sorta configure some things.
Cons: Saying it's capable of 802.1q VLAN tagging and then hiding that it can't port trunk in the datasheet is deceptive. It's not fully 802.1q compliant so just ignore their usage of that term.
Overall Review: I won't be buying Netgear products again.
Cons: Using XMP 2.0 threw so many errors (tested in MemTest) it destroyed my Windows installation and I can't only use it at DDR-2400.
Pros: The noise dropped 5 decibels (from 74 to 69).
Cons: The noise only dropped 5 decibels. The reason the description says, "Suggest to use with your 6" ducting" became apparent when I tried to connect the muffler directly to fan. They are pretty much exactly the same diameter so they don't fit together without some intermediary.
Overall Review: For reference the fan I'm using is the 'Homgrace 6" Inch 430 CFM Inline Duct Fan 3200 RPM Speed'.
Pros: HP support has been patient trying resolve issues.
Cons: They are sending the second replacement printer now, but I want nothing to do with this model any more.
The amount of paper and ink wasted to print status pages, configuration pages, alignment pages...on and on. It's crazy.
Cons: Flimsy, easily damaged. A piece broke off while I was applying next to no pressure to slide the HDD into the internal frame.
Pros: The compound from the first use was ok.
Cons: The compound that came out after the first use was so runny and liquid it was worseless.
Pros: Cheap, Works sometimes
Cons: No driver for Windows later than Win7 so the device kinda works then doesn't in Win10. Keeps connecting, disconnecting.
Overall Review: Don't bother for versions of Windows later than 7
Pros: Bumped the performance of my old laptop for a short time before it failed.
Cons: The drive failed after less than a month of use. If you roll the dice on this SSHD back your drive up constantly.
Cons: - Not HDCP 2.2 compliant which means it can't stream 4k content.
- The picture quality presets are awful (quality worse than my 1080p) and I can't get it adjusted to look decent manually either.
Seiki told someone:
"Unfortunately, the SE39UY04 was created in 2013, before the HDCP 2.2 copy protection was implemented.
But we still get demand for the TV from customers who use the SE39UY04 as an affordable 4K display for their computers.
Our newer 4K TVs do include support for HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 and can handle new 4K protected content."
Overall Review: Don't buy for use as a TV.
