Pros: Sturdy item. Easy to use. Squelch control is a nice additional feature.
Cons: Communication range is not great. In wooded area only able to get about 1/2 mile.
Overall Review: A longer whip antenna would probably help with range.
Pros: The sound is superb,
I love all the settings and configurations.
Cons: But, when I use Teamspeak 3, there is a pop sound every time I click the push to talk and release it. It annoys people in my guild. If it was not for that, id say these were the best headphones I ever owned. I tried every setting and config, spent 4 hours trying to get it to work. Please get to me, before I RMA. Maybe my mic is messed up. I know a decent amount about computers, and this is not a simple problem I can see. I hope there is an easy fix. PLease get back to me, I want to keep them. I have your keyboard and love it, same w/ the RAM
Pros: - I love the look and the feel. It has a nice heavy weight to it.
- The mechanical keys make it amazing. I love the loud clicks. The feel of hitting they keys is ultra smooth.
- The lighting effects are phenomenal, the program is easy to use and program.
- The Extra programmable keys are a life saver for MMORPGS and game like Diablo 3 and Marvel Heroes 2016. They are very easy to program.
- The volume wheel is very nice to touch and the light on the bar and just aesthetically pleasing while functional at the same time.
- The cool metal bars around the keyboard very nice, not only does it add weight, but it makes it look sweet too. I know the bars are for the upgraded version. I am glad they kept them.
- I like the wrist rest, it is not some cheap plastic that is flimsy and falls off very easily.
- The media keys are a must, on any keyboard, I like how G Skill did theirs.
- I like the lighting function, You can either make the lights high, medium, low or off. It is nice to have a function on the keyboard that does this. I turn mine off when I am not using it, to ensure the lights last a long time. I plan on using this keyboard for a few years.
- I love that this Keyboard has a windows home button lock on it. I can not count the times I hit that on accident and my game minimized and got me killed. It is easy to turn on and off, so when you want to use it, you can
- Over all this is a solid keyboard w/ seemingly strong/durable parts.
- When I bought this Keyboard I bought a USB cable extender. I was not sure how long the cable would be. It is very long
- The cable has this wonderful mesh covering and it very sexy looking while practical. This keyboard is the best for the price.
- I think it is on par, or a tad better than the corsair keyboards in or near the price point.
Cons: - The program has to be on for the lighting effects to continue, It is a light weight program, I am just weird and I do not like a lot of programs running at once. It is a minor annoyance but very livable.
- Just red lights, but I knew that going in. My comp has white lights, so the red keyboard is not that off.
- Not much to complain about. I love this keyboard!
Overall Review: I was skeptical at first, they are a great company and make some wonderful RAM. I have 8, 4 gig sticks of G skill RAM in my rig and in my LAN box I have two 8 gig sticks. I decided to give them a shot w/ their keyboards. I was nervous, w/ no comments at the time. I told everyone about this!
If you are skeptical do not be. G Skill makes awesome RAM, now I know they make awesome Keyboard!
Pros: - Well the first pro is, it is fast and cheap. I am actually getting higher speeds than the box says. So if you have a decent comp, this SSD will be a bit faster than what it says. Only by 20-30, but hey that is awesome in my book.
- Second pro is, the Samsung Data Migration program for hard drive/SSD cloning was fast and easy to use. I got sick of formatting and reinstalling drivers and setting up my comp the way I like it. So, I used the Samsung data migration (Cloning program) and all is well. I was going from an older SATA 3 SSD from 2012 and it copied 102 gigs in 14:02. Way faster than formatting, and as I have no issues w/ my comp, cloning was the to go, I do not know if the data migration is bundled w/ the SSD. I downloaded mine from the Samsung site. I also downloaded the Samsung Magician software to test the speed of the SSD.
- I like the sleek look, it is simple but awesome.
- The 3D NAND is what drew my attention to it, My old SSD has degraded a bit, so it is nice to have an SSD back to full speed.
- Buy it, I did a bunch of research and from what I got out of it. The Samsung 850 Evo line is up to 30 percent faster than its Samsung 840 Line up,
Cons: - The only con I can think of is, the packaging. I do not like the SSD on one side while the software is on the other, Be careful the way you are opening it.
Overall Review: I would recommend this to other people, and I already have LOL
Pros: I was using a Old Kraken x40 and noticed i was getting high temps. Was getting 26-30c idle and 62c for Ark Survival Evolved. I popped in this cooler w/ the thermal paste it has and i started to get 20c to 25c on idle and gaming w/ no Overclocking for Ark Survival Evolved i stick around 38c, but my HWmonitor shows it went to 41c at one point. Also, Ark Survival Evolved is a very CPU intensive game.
IT FITS IN A NZXT SWITCH 810 I used two of the three top fan spots.
I bought some new thermal paste w/ the cooler, and i will change it in 8 weeks when i clean my rig and reapply the paste. I try to always get the maximum efficiency out of my computer.
The cooler rocks, way better than 140mm or 120mm. It is very sleek looking! Even the White LED in a Blue case goes together very awesome. BUY IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
My rig is a
msi x79a-gd45 plus-r
Asus GTX 970
Corsair 850 RM
32 gigs of 1600 mhz RAM
240 gig intel SSD
2TB external HDD
7 NZXT air flow fans
Other than that, the Cooler is awesome! I always went NZXT, but Corsair won me over w/ this cooler. TO BE FAIR: The NZXT kraken x40 did its job since 12/01/13 when i received it and installed it. I had great temps! the only reason i noticed my temps were whacky is because i noticed the Krakens LED was red on the pump. That is were i read the red means there is an error.
Cons: the LGA 2011 instructions could be a tad better. I had to watch a YouTube video for the last part. I knew what to do, but i wanted to make sure i was right before i turned it on.
There is a small indent on the tubing and it had me worried that IT MAY LEAK! So when i turned it on, i held a piece of paper towel on the spot for ten minutes. I think it is a indent for being in the same spot for a while in the packaging. MAKE SURE TO LOOK OVER YOUR TUBING. I read a few horror stories
Other than that I LOVE THIS COOLER!
Overall Review: I think that Corsair should do a video on the installing for each type of CPU socket and board. Or have one long video, showing how to do it. Or split AMD and Intel into different videos. NZXT does that, and that i why i recommended to friends so i did not have to do it for them. But i will recommend this and when they need a new cooler ill tell them this and i will install it for them. Id Kill for a corsair T-shirt or hoodie lol
Pros: I have had this card close to month: LOVEIT! No problems so far, very easy to install. Get very good benchmark ratings. Very smooth running on most games. Very quiet fan, hardly hear it. Very happy with purchase.
Cons: Unable to use Shield. Otherwise no problems yet.
Overall Review: Being refurbished, I bought the extended warranty just in case. The Manufactures is not very long.
Pros: Easy to install, but do not forget 2 6 pin power connectors.(not included) Huge upgrade over my GT 420. Very happy so far, but only just installed, so can not give long term review.
Cons: Does not come with two 6 pin power connectors that are required to run this card.
Overall Review: Excellent Benchmark results!
Pros: The RAM works great, i was dumb and thought it had heat sinks. It is a metallic sticker. Oh well, the ram is cheap and works great.
Cons: My dumbness, not gskills fault.
Overall Review: Id buy again.
Pros: Well, the fans will not turn on, unless it needs them. Easy to hook up, looks good. It is nice and heavy too. I love it!
Cons: None really, i like it so far.
Overall Review: Buy one if you are on a budget. Refurbished is nice in my opinion. It has been tested and you know it works. It has extra care put into it, and it is cheaper. A win, win in my book.
Pros: I was nervous buying this, i was on a budget. My p9x79 mobo voltages were all over the place. After replacing the psu and RAM, the mobo was the next choice. I installed it, i had zero difficulties. It does not have all the bells and whistles, but she works great for the price. I was concerned that their would be parts missing on the mobo. ALL THE PARTS WERE THERE! All the stuff in the box was too. It lights up blue too :P I like shiny things!
Cons: No cons really, you get what you pay for. This was one hell of a deal.
Overall Review: Id buy it again. For the price, you can not beat it.
Pros: It Dissolves the paste right before your eyes. I will always have these on hand. It works so quick, and to know it is safer then alcohol.
I hear when you use alcohol, it will eventually wear down your CPU and slip through the microscopic holes in the heat sink on the CPU and eventually hurt it. After i heard that, i needed to get this. Even if it did not do that to the CPU id still order it on how easy it is to clean with it.
Cons: Kinda stinks a bit, but its worth it
Overall Review: If you are buying a new CPU and you want to take care of it properly, buy this. you will not regret it, it seems like it will keep for a few years too.
I bet you can clean 50 plus CPU's with these bottles.
Arctic Silver rocks!
Pros: I bought 2 of these to put in my Fx-8120 build as my LAN box/Secondary Computer.
Works easy and nice, it read them quick and at top speed.
Cons: No cons
Overall Review: I love the Case Badge's
Pros: I bought this to replace my FX-8150. I notice a HUGE difference. I had no troubles installing the cpu on the board. I bought the Asus P9X79 Pro (Open Box), i used the BIOS flash feature to make sure the CPU would be compatible, and it was.
Cons: No Cons, i just wish my I7 sticker was not messed up. But i am sure i can buy a new case badge some where else. The box was unopened, it must of happened at the factory.
Overall Review: My Build:
Asus P9X79 Pro
Power Cooler HD 6950
Mushking Chronos Deluxe 120gb SSD (Sata 3)
16 Gigs of Ripjaw DDR3 1066 F3-8500CL7S-4GBRL

Cons: None that i can find
Pros: Easy Install, Looks Great, Low Noise and its liquid cooling!
I am running a FX-8120 OC'ed to 3.9 Mhz. I have not been over 31c. When it's idle its anywhere from 6c-15c.
I ran my CPU at 100% for 20 minutes and never went passed 34c
Id buy this cooler, you wont regret it
Cons: When i first started the system with the Antec 620, i got a message when i posted of "no CPU fan". The cooler is working, after i restarted the message was gone.
Overall Review: I am happy about this cooler, this will be future proof for me for at least 3 upgrades with my CPU
Pros: This card is amazing, The card is 110 FT from the router and it is on the first floor while the router is on the 2nd floor. I am getting 270 Mbps at that distance.
Cons: No cons i could find, and believe me i am looking for them.
I was skeptical at first, but Asus makes Quality products
Overall Review: I am using the ASUS RT-N13U/B Wireless Router, i bought the router refurbished from newegg and it is amazing.
Asus wireless makes me forget about Linsky's routers all together. Easy Setups at that.
Im also using a ASUS USB-N13 Wireless Adapter, i also bought this refurbished and this USB wireless is 122 FT from the ASUS RT-N13U/B Wireless Router. I also Get amazing speeds with that.
Pros: I love this little USB wireless. I gets VERY good range and great speeds at a distant
Id buy this, while it is cheap
Overall Review: It came with CD, USB extension, keychain and of course the unit.
Pros: Its awesome, started right up
came with the disk, power supply and cable
Cons: None that i can see
Overall Review: I love ASUS products
Pros: I bought 4 packages just in-case i had to RMA i didn't have to RMA all of them.
None of them came dead. They worked like a charm. The Asus M5A97 read all 16GB the first time i booted up.
This ram was not on QVL for the main-board but it still works. I've bought a lot of ram from G SKILL and i have yet to get one DOA or have any other problems with them.
Cons: None, they fit very nicely. the ram is nice and heavy. the heat sinks are NOT cheap either.
Overall Review: FX 8120 @ 3.5ghz
16gb of G.SKILL Ripjaws Series
Powercooler HD 6950
Apevia Beast Power 750w PSU
Asus ASUS PCE-N15 Wireless Adapter
Mushkin Enhanced Callisto Deluxe 120GB SSD
Western Digital 1TB 7200 rpm HD
Western Digital 2TB External HD
Pros: This processor is amazing. I play the mmo SWTOR and it flys through the loading screens. I was using the phenom ii 955 and i can notice a huge difference.
I bought the m5a97 board from asus it came with the latest bios, so it was plug and play.
Im also using the stock fan, there is no problems with it. As long as you have a case that has proper airflow already going through it.
If your debating on buying this, i say do it. you WILL NOT regret it.
Cons: None that i can find.
Pros: Easy install. nice board
Had the fx bios already installed
Cons: No standoff's came with it
But they are a dime a dozen
Overall Review: installed a fx 8120
along with 16 gigs of Desktop Memory Model F3-8500CL7S-4GBRL
that ram was not on QVL but it works like a charm
Pros: Will this ram work with ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970 and AMD FX-6100
im sure it will i just want to be sure.
Cons: I hope none
Pros: No problems so far (knock on wood)
Cons: Not module
Overall Review: I love it
Pros: It does its job perfectly
Overall Review: I love it, patriot send me some free product and ill keep promoting :P
Pros: It does every thing it says. no problems w/ install. I was shocked to know how big the side fan was.
Cons: The wire came tangled, but thats not that big of a deal.
Overall Review: It fits my HD 6950 comfortably
