Pros: Can be ran on quiet and performance speeds. 3 interchangeable rings to coincide with your case mod. They barely can be heard on perfomance mode. Very quiet. Look awesome in my case. I have red single braided power cables and red tubing for my loop. Match perfectly.
Cons: The rubber hole where the screws turn into to hold the fan are absolutely terrible. It was impossible to get the screws turned in all the way to make the fan hit my case. There was a gap on every corner because as you tighten the screws, the rubber turns to so you can never get them tight. I destroyed one hole because I could not back off the screw get remove the fan to make modifications. Would I ended up doing and highly recommend is honing out the rubber holes with a 3/16th drill bit. This opens up the hole for the screw to be fully tightened and doesn't make the hole to big. Worked perfectly.
Overall Review: One thing to note is that the rings can only be installed on one side of the fan (the intake side). They are to be used as exhaust fans which will display the ring in your case.
Pros: Like the title states, this headset is absolutely phenomenal. This is my first headset I have owned. Been a speaker guy since I started gaming, but I will never game with speakers again. I mostly play Battlefield 4 and the sound is amazing. I can hear people all the way around me, above and below on certain maps. The gunshots are crisp as can be and the booming of the explosions sound awesome. These provide tons of bass so if you are looking for a headset that provides a lot of bass, these will satisfy. Sometimes when explosions go off near you it is almost startling. I have a Creative Fatality Titanium Championship soundcard which may provide better sound than onboard audio.
These are open design so you can hear outside noise, but it isn't distracting. I can slightly hear loud vehicles driving by, but I can't hear people talking around me. They fit entirely around your ears. If you have dumbo ears they will easily fit around them. According to my clan members, the mic is clear as well. I did play the mic through my headset and it sounded clear to me as well.
Well designed headset, very sturdy and built to last. The pads on the ears are soft and the headband padding is plush too. Very comfortable. The look sweet in my opinion.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that my ears after a few hours of gaming get a little warm, but I'm sure that is a factor with all headsets.
Overall Review: I actually bought the new Klipsch kg-200 headset to compare to this one, since Klipsch makes awesome products. I figured I would determine which one is better and return the worst. After about 10 minutes of gaming and configuring, the Klipsch went back into the package and I requested an RMA. They did not even come close to the G4me One's. Everything echoed on every setting I tried and the microphone sounded terrible when they were broadcasted these the headset. They sat on top of my ears instead of going around the ears. The cups were too small in my opinion. Kind of cheaply made too. Klipsch needs to stick with making speakers. My friend had the Klipsch computer speakers and they sounded fantastic. I thought the headset would compare, but they failed miserably.
The G4me One's are $189, but you get what you pay for. Sennheiser makes some great products and this one is no exception. I highly recommend if you can spare the money you will not be disappointed. Like I mentioned before, I can only compare these to one other headset, so there maybe some other cheaper brands or model that may sound just as good. I didn't want to take the chance of getting a lesser headset and thinking they were actually good. Figured I would go with a known brand that delivers quality products. Could not be happier. Well maybe if they were cheaper.
Pros: I have to admit the sound is absolutely awesome. Totally makes a difference when using 5.1 while gaming. The directioning of gunfire is pinpoint when using 5.1. You can tell exactly what direction the shots are being fired from. I bought this card for gaming and was very impressed.
Cons: Well the card is outstanding when it works. I really only have issues when playing games. I am currently playing Battlefield 3 and I lose sound CONSTANTLY. Sometimes it's 5 minutes into the game other times it is an hour. However, it ultimately fails. I've read about people hearing crackling noises. I don't hear that when the sound is working, but once the sound fails at times I will hear a loud crackling and it does not go away. Have to restart pc in order to fix. Should have trusted the reviews. Not impressed with X-fi.
Overall Review: Got 3 stars due to the inconsistancy of working properly. Tech support so far told me to re update the drivers, FOR REAL? The are brilliant to say the least. Could possible be a bad card. Still trying to determine the issues. I disabled everything and it still loses sound.
Pros: First off I just want to state that these speakers are amazing. Best speakers I have owned so far. The bass is sick, especially when watching movies or gaming. Been playing Battlefield 3 and the explosions are absolutely sick. They almost scare me at times when I am not prepared for them. Loud and vibrant. They sound good even through on board audio. However, introduce a sound card and they boom.
Cons: The only issue is that I expected more when listening to music. Clear, crisp sound. It is well above average. but I thought it could be a little better.
Price, but you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: For some people with a small desk they may clutter space. The sub is fairly big.
These speakers are suburb for movies and games. A gamers must have.
Pros: I will have to say that the tracking of this mouse is quite impressive. Smooth movement, great feel in the hands, top buttons barely need to be pressed in order to respond. The calibration software lets you adjust everything you could ever ask for from a mouse. You can create profiles and then switch between profiles in game. For example, shooting a hand held weapon setup on one profile and can be adjusted once entering a vehicle.
Cons: The main reason that I wanted this mouse was to incorporate all 9 button while in game play. I currently have a M-soft 5 button optical and it works great. I use both buttons on the side of the mouse with my thumb knuckle and the third finger knucke. That is why this mouse caught my eye because of the side buttons and the fact that it was a laser mouse. However, the buttons on the pinky side of the mouse are basically impossible to use. I don't recommend this if you are looking to use all the buttons. The left side of the mouse you have to use the tip of your finger to even press them which makes for an ackward transition since I am use to using my thumb knuckle.
Overall Review: The mouse is larger than average, so if you have a small hand this may not be the right choice. If you are a gamer that doesn't use side buttons or if you are a finger tip button presser than this may work for you.
Pros: Very fast RAM overall. Running X9650, EVGA 790i, Vista Ultimate. Did infact have to adjust latency in BIOS, but other than that no hitches at all. Remains cool temps. Was a little skeptical because of the brand, but after purchasing I am glad that I did. Definitely recommend.
Cons: None, well maybe price.
Overall Review: Once they decrease a little in price, here comes 8 gigs.
Pros: My PC is overclocked and with this heatsink, my computer is steady and cool. Would recommend for overclocking and those with computers that need heat dispersion.
Overall Review: Not sure what type of cases some of these people are using, but I have a mid tower and have about 1.5 inches of clearance from the side of my case. It may not fit in a case that has a side fan in front of the CPU, but in any other case it will fit no problem. As for some who are complaining about not cooling enough, try Artic Silver and make sure you are applying the proper amount of paste. No issues at all for me with keeping my PC nice and cool without water cooling.
Intel X9750 Quad core, 4 gig DD3 Patriot Viper, 150 gig Raptor, EVGA 8800 GTX, Soundblaster Audigy 2 SE, Vista Ultimate.
Pros: This software has good options available rather than just AV only.
Cons: System Hog. Does not work with Vista, so if you have this OS don't buy just yet.
Overall Review: Really just wanted to notate this non compatibility with Vista to prevent those from wasting their money.
Pros: Very good piece of equipment to limit desktop space. Switches very quickly and is operations a second later. No malfunctioning so far. Had it about 6 months.
Cons: People have mentioned before about the "beep" when it switches, but come on who cares. Only flaw I get is that one of my pc's, when booted I get no mouse function. So I have to use the keyboard to reboot and then it is fine. However, when the other pc is running and I boot the other PC it works fine, go figure!
Overall Review: One slight issue is when you switch to the other PC, there is like a one second delay on the mouse. So you have to wait a second before the mouse will function. Those two flaws don't bother me, but to some it may change their mind on purchasing this product.
