This Zalman Model Looks Good & Works Great
Pros: Installation is relatively easy if you think it through before starting. The cooler now comes with the mounting parts for LGA 1156/1155 CPUs so a separate kit is no longer needed. The cooler looks good and does a very good job at keeping the CPU temperature constant at low (quiet) fan speeds.
Cons: The cooling fins are sharp and I would suggest you wear latex gloves to protect your hands and to protect the cooler from fingerprint stains.
Overall Review: When I was looking for a CPU cooler for my new Intel Sandy Bridge build I was concerned that the CPU socket on the new P67 motherboards is oriented top-to-bottom which could impact the cooler orientation. The CNPS9500 originally had a rectangular heat transfer surface which would have made it impossible to mount the fan with the correct orientation. It was a nice surprise that this cooler now has a square cooling surface with rounded corners which made it work great with my Intel DP67BG motherboard.
Shipper's Packaging Problem?
Cons: These appear to be shipped from the manufacturer without the protection of an outer shipping carton. In my case UPS said the item was damaged in shipping and never even tried to deliver it. A big waste of time and a delay in getting a refund.
Overall Review: Others have noted receiving item with missing parts which likely was due to the package being damaged in shipping and the parts falling out.
Cisco and Newegg Are The Best
Pros: This Cisco security appliance (firewall) model is well made and fully featured to meet the needs of most small and medium business users. It can be made operational with minimal changes to the default and auto-detect options. My unit came with the most recent firmware (8.3) installed which was helpful.
Overall Review: As usual, Newegg gets their products delivered fast and offers great prices.
