Excellent MP3 Player

SanDisk Sansa e200 1.8" Black 8GB MP3 Player Sansa e280
SanDisk Sansa e200 1.8" Black 8GB MP3 Player Sansa e280

Pros: This player has lots of memory, an easy to use interface and a (relatively) huge screen. It comes in any color you want as long as you want black. I had no problems plugging this thing into my Windows or Linux box.

Cons: My first impression when opening the box was that the scroll wheel felt incredibly cheap. After owning it a month, I no longer worry about it's sturdiness. You have to update the firmware immediately when you get one. The buttons around the wheel are a little hard to press at first, but after a while you get accustomed to them.

Overall Review: This player may not be as flashy as others, or have a cool touch wheel like others, but it doesn't have the inflated price of the others either. The longer I own this thing the more pleased I am with my purchase.

A+ Product

GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation
GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation

Pros: This thing is small! IT doesn't take up too much space in my windshield, but doesn't skimp on the features either. I didn't consider the size when buying it, but anything larger would seriously obstruct my view - it's perfect for small cars. Text-To-Speech is an awesome feature. The software is easy to upgrade and there's plenty of room to add more. The list of options that can be added to this unit is impressive. The interface is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. I just turned it on and started navigating. The software in general is top notch - and coming from a software developer that's no small praise.

Cons: The only real complaint I have so far is that there is no low-battery warning when the unit is navigating. It just shuts off the screen without warning when the battery gets down to a certain percentage. The nice thing is it doesn't stop navigating immediately, though. It leaves enough battery power to give you time to dig the charger out of the glove box and plug it in before it loses power completely. The speaker can get a tad crackly at high volumes. The instructions are a little sparse, but like I said, you hardly need them. The extra addons are not cheap. The sleek design looks out of place in my 10 year old junker; I'm going to have to buy a new car to match the styling :).

Overall Review: This is my first GPS unit, and I am very pleased with the purchase. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone.

Performs as Described

Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This motherboard has no fans, so it runs quiet. It has lots of features and room for expansion. You can't beat it for the price.

Cons: The driver CD that came with this was DOA. I had to download the drivers from online to get anything to work properly.

Overall Review: Once I settled all the issues installing the drivers this little board worked like a champ. Great bang for the buck. Just make sure you have some way to get online just in case . . .

COOLER MASTER Elite 330 RC-330-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
COOLER MASTER Elite 330 RC-330-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is easy to install hardware in and provides lots of airflow to keep all of your precious PC parts cool.

Cons: It's not totally tool-less, but all you need is a philips head screwdriver. It doesn't come with a fan mounted in the front. Fit and finish feels kinda' cheap compared to other Cooler Master cases.

Overall Review: I bought this case trying to save a little money over of Cooler Master cases. Don't do this if you're a serious PC builder. For a mom and pop computer it'll work great, but there are some small imperfections in this case that don't exist in the slightly more expensive Cooler Master models. Good thing I bought it for a mom and pop PC.
