epic monitor @ 50%
Pros: DELL makes the best monitor for a single purpose. not too bright like LED's, sturdy enough to park a car on and 50% This monitor is a GAMING monitor @ 50%. I train in a few games and will be using this for it's size and build quality. It's absurdly well built. (21.5" is really nice, I've had a a lot of monitors 27, 24's, 22 now a cool 21.5. Doesn't sound like much but it's really nice for it's size looks bigger than you'd think. Your eye can only track about 20"s, the size is perfectly observable :D) I also like the fact it's an LCD. I've found LED's are too bright and I don't really like them for that reason. Bought 3 so far :D Fist one was fried, my wall tripped and I'm replacing a 24 that also was lost because of how nice this monitor is. The stand is the best, I love DELL stands a lot and over all it's one sturdy monitor'
Cons: guessing (like QUAKE) contrast took a hit because gamers tweak game settings going over bright with gamma and wash out contrast. It still looks great when tweaked using os vid setting and upping the contrast/brightness & gamma
epic CRT level LED
Pros: Buy it. My name in QUAKELIVE is bind_, I'm getting to be a pro level CA player. I've gone through about 20 monitors since last year. Most of them the alienware gaming lcds, few viewsonic leds, non stack up to this led. It's unreal. I don't know weather I'm playing on a large CRT or something from NASA. I've never seen such a smooth screen playing quake, I'm in love lol. *Buying backups.
Cons: non.
