Packs quite a punch

AMD A8-3850 - A-Series APU (CPU + GPU) Llano Quad-Core 2.9 GHz Socket FM1 100W AMD Radeon HD 6550D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD3850WNGXBOX
AMD A8-3850 - A-Series APU (CPU + GPU) Llano Quad-Core 2.9 GHz Socket FM1 100W AMD Radeon HD 6550D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD3850WNGXBOX

Pros: Low Cost Decent Graphic Performance Low Power Usage

Cons: If you want to play games in 1080p you'll want a dedicated GPU

Overall Review: I was building a HTPC in a original Nintendo, I just wanted to be able to play emulated Nintendo, Sega SNES and PSX games and at the last second I switched my build from a i3 to this processor as I had heard good things about the APU's. I was not let down, it plays all of those games and then some, I can play Crysis at 720p at about 45 fps (under stock 2.9ghz), great deal for what you get! Currently OC'd to 3.3ghz and pretty darn stable (57c under Prime95 torture test) and is very stable! Great for casual gaming/not really caring about maxing out every state

Works when it works

LOGISYS Computer PS350MA 350 W Micro ATX Power Supply
LOGISYS Computer PS350MA 350 W Micro ATX Power Supply

Pros: Cheap, nice as a back up

Cons: Used this as a psu for a htpc. Turned it on today and what i believe was a capacitor blew. Sparks and everything

Overall Review: This was the second time I've ever seen sparks from a power supply. Only other time was with a faulty psu present in a computer I was fixing for a friend. I may have got a bad unit but it should go after 5 months.

Died after 13 months

Mushkin Pilot-E 2TB PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe 1.3 M.2 (2280) Internal SSD - Up to 3,500MBs - Opal Data Encryption - MKNSSDPE2TB-D8

Pros: Pretty Fast

Overall Review: Drive was good when it worked, no speed degradation i observed but then the drive just died 13 months after purchase. Opened a RMA case, we'll see how it goes. I also ordered 2 and I'm very skeptical of the drive now. Wouldn't recommend using this for your OS

A friend of mine said it looked like a skyscraper in my computer

MASSCOOL 8WA743 92mm Long Life CPU Cooler
MASSCOOL 8WA743 92mm Long Life CPU Cooler

Pros: Runs my i5 ice cold Not really loud

Cons: Installation wasn't that easy, it took me quite a while to get the bracket mounted on my motherboard. Although this was my first time using a fan that required a bracket so I did take my time rather than rush.

Overall Review: Based on reviews here this heatsink drops the temperature of pretty much any processor, I purchased this item on a whim when I built my new rig. I sometimes have issues with heat based on airflow in my house. With this heatsink combined with an Antec 900 case has had incredible results. i5 3570k ivy bridge, 32gb ram, geforce gtx 480, 120gb ocz ssd

Become "that guy"

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL

Pros: 32GB of ram Lots of memory

Cons: I really cannot think of any cons for having 32gb of ram

Overall Review: Haven't had an issue with any of the 4 sticks I received. I currently have my swap file disabled and the maximum I have gone up to so far is 26gb of ram (reserved) which is an awesome feeling. I have tabs and tabs and tabs open in firefox, chrome, and several other programs and I can go ahead and load up crysis, gta4 etc and the computer itself could care less. For the price you pay for this amount of memory you really cannot go wrong. Combined with my ssd I boot from my post screen to my windows login screen in under 10 seconds. i5 3570k ivy bridge, 32gb ram, geforce gtx 480, 120gb ocz ssd

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 015-P3-1480-KR

Pros: Runs every game maxed out

Cons: card is rather large

Overall Review: I love this card. It is a huge steal for the price. Everything I throw at this card it just plows through it, it is almost as if I am not even making the card work. It's a great feeling when you know that you can always pick up another one of these and run sli which I plan on doing. i5 3570k ivy bridge, 32gb ram, geforce gtx 480, 120gb ocz ssd
