Pros: Less expensive than newer revisions. All solid cap design - this board should last a long time.

Cons: The analog line out produced a loud hum on my audio system. It is diminished once the windows audio driver loads, but still present. I switched to the digital coaxial audio output, and it's *beautifully* crystal clear, no hum. it offers up to 192khz digital audio out!

Overall Review: The newer revisions of this board have an updated audio codec, perhaps that solves the analog hum? Doesn't matter with digital output!

Pros: You can easily access your disks.

Cons: It is finicky to establish disk connections at first, and eventually will stop working.

Overall Review: There are other reviews indicating this will fail to detect drives after some time. They were right. The fans are loud, and I did disconnect them. But what does that matter, if it can't detect your drives? Worthless junk. I'm going to try ripping out the backplane & connecting cables direct. No point in going through hassle of exchange for same thing to happen in a few months. Newegg, why are you still peddling this?
