Pros: - Very Overclockable
- Beautiful LEDs
- Works with Asus Prime Pro x470
Cons: - On one of the sticks of ram, when the RGBs are set to white not all of the LEDs are pure white. In my case, some of the LEDs have a bit of a pinkish hue to them. Kind of a bummer because my build is white / black and seeing that bit of discoloration really bugs the hell outta me.
Overall Review: This kit will work with the ASUS Prime Pro x470 with a Ryzen 5 2600 (non X). I was a bit nervous because it wasn't on the QVL, but it booted right out of the box. It also OC's very well. I had the timings set to 14-16-16-34 @ 1.35V and it ran with no issues using memtest64. I set the timings back to 15-17-17-35 and OC'd it to 3200MHz @ 1.35V just to see if it'll go to 3200MHz, it did! Tested it again with memtest with no issues. I will try to tighten up the timings some more. I ran a userbenchmark bench and the ram at 3200MHz performs in the 99th percentile! Insane.
Overall, I really love this kit. It really does look fantastic in a glass case and performs really well.
UPDATE: Ran Thaiphoon Burner see what memory type my modules are and it's showing them to be Hynix CJR Rank 1.
UPDATE 2: Used DRAM Calc to tighten ALL the timings for the "fast preset". Current OC is 3200MHz 14-17-18-28 @ 1.37V. Ran Memtest86 for 4 passes ~3 hours with no errors. Userbenchmarks at 120% and in the 100th percentile. This kit rocks.
Pros: - Low power consumption (60w measured in HiveOS, probably slightly more measured from wall)
- Good hashrate (29.25mh/s on ETH & ETC)
- Runs cool (50-52c in open air rig)
Cons: - No HDMI ports
- No Display Ports
Overall Review: This card performs extremely well for a 470. I had no issues whatsoever OCing it to 29.25mh/s. It could do 30mh/s but the slight increase won't yield much. Stable is better than more.
Keep in mind that this is a mining card, it does not have HDMI and display ports. I didn't remove any eggs for that because it's clearly listed.
Will buy more if / when they become available again.
Pros: - Price
Cons: - Ketchup & mustard wires
Overall Review: There's lots to like with these. The price, the quantity, the noise. They are really quiet in my opinion, not sure why people are saying they are loud. I'm running all four at 100% on my rig and while yes, I can hear them running, they aren't screaming! Really digging these fans.
Only bummer is they have ketchup and mustard wires. If the wires were wrapped they would be top notch.
