Rainbow Six Vegas 2 PC Game
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 PC Game

Pros: price, playability, win7 compatible (including 64-bit), price. It's a great game. My past experience was limited to the original Rainbow 6, and this is (of course) light years ahead in terms of playability. I find that while the AI isn't particularly smart (what AI ever is?) it is easy to give them directions on the fly and improvise plans, so you can manage them easily. Not perfect, but pretty good. Ranking and unlocking system is fun, gives you something to look forward to and keeps you coming back for more. The various weapon choices also add to the fun and variety. all in all - easy to use (shallow learning curve, especially if already experienced with FPS's), once it loads into memory it runs smoothly (may have to reduce your resolution to up the frame rate), and for this price, snatch up a few copies and mail 'em to your friends so everyone has a key and can play online.

Cons: i have a job that also requires my attention. some additional deathmatch boards would be nice, the boards/levels/worlds included are pretty limited, as they tend to be too big for small groups. If you have just 2-3 players, there's really only 1 or 2 boards you can practically use for deathmatching, as the rest are too expansive and you'll spend more time hunting than firing. On the flip side, there's other game modes you can use to spice it up a bit - team deathmatch, conquest, etc... a training mode would have been nice as well, so you can try out the various weapons and gadgets in a safe environment.

Overall Review: i picked up 3 copies, set up LAN parties often. lock and loads of fun. if you have a computer headset - even better!
