Pros: Quiet most of the time, fast, cheap, still going after 1 year.
Overall Review: These hdd's have a bad rep, but I am happy with this one so far.
Pros: The price and features make it a good bargain. It is attractive, and while it is deep it is not very tall.
Cons: The USB cable hookup is inside the printer towards the front, so it will take a real long cable if you need one. Somehow my virus software did not like the driver software package, and with that included it was the most complicated printer setup I ever did. It is loud.
Overall Review: It is not a printer for beginners, otherwise it is fine.
Pros: Cheap, small, long cable, easily located, rubber bottom so it does not scratch the surface.
Cons: not my name brand of choice.
Overall Review: I think this cam is a good bargain at the price I paid, but for 4x the price you can get a much better cam. On a budget this one is hard to beat!
Pros: It is smaller than my old purifier and does double the square feet. Low speed is virtually inaudible, and medium is also very reasonable.
The small size/shape permits a good range of where it can be located, but....
Cons: it blows air out one side of the back, meaning in can only face a certain direction.
High speed is loud. A fourth speed setting, or something more in the middle of low/high would have been better.
Overall Review: It is the best deal I found on an air purifier that does that much area or has a reusable filter.
It is a great deal!
Pros: It is much quieter than my old 320gb WD black drive. 32mb cache should perform well. Nice heavy build.
Overall Review: Makes a good secondary drive, although other drives should outperform it as a main drive.
Pros: The second one works.
Cons: The first one I bought for somebody as a Christmas present, it was faulty upon installation. It sounded like..... it is hard to describe but loud and did not read the disks.... it also ejected disks hard and disks came out spinning. The drive weighs way less than any other rom I have seen. The front bezel is very cheap/generic looking.
Overall Review: Looks like a lot of people are liking this drive, so I was likely the victim of mass production.
This second unit is not overly loud and ejects slowly.
Pros: The graphics are impressive when it comes to the scenery and explosions. The flying is a little challenging, but fun. The game has flexibility on weapons, what side to choose, and doing subquests. How you approach things is flexible as well, for the most part you can choose to walk/ride/fly. As a human the option is walk/drive/fly. The game has definite re-playability!
Cons: Not a real long game, the DVD is thin, it requires online activation before playing. The controls can be awkward a few times, and may be better to set your own keys so you can keep your fingers where they need to be. The characters movements are a little goofy. I think it needs a little more story line involvement.
Overall Review: It is not a great game, but not a bad game. What it lacks could have easily been improved.... meaning a little more story line involvement at the beginning.... maybe if you seen the movie first it would not matter.... the storyline exists, regardless, so it is not a pointless game.
It is a game I suggest buying, but I wish it was a few dollars cheaper than I paid considering the length of the game. That is also the reason it only gets 4 eggs.
Pros: It's a cable! It is cheap! :)
Cons: It does not have gold plated ends and is fairly thin. cable. That should not be a problem for the majority of people.
Pros: It is easy to tune in, I consider it a very easy to navigate Bios. The NB/CPU/RAM is all positioned good for a large HS like a Mugen. This board was tested by several sites and has very lower power consumption. Everything is running cooler and I am hitting 3.93ghz on my processor with 1.26v vs. 1.28 on my old board.
Cons: Screw bosses appear fragile. I hate how Asus positions the IDE sockets. The NB HS is inadequate, but I have a fan for it. You can't set your own shut down temps, I really don't like that!
My last con is I can't hit 4ghz, it stopped at 3.94 stable :( It seems like it hits a wall at 492mhz FSB.
Overall Review: The second PCIEx16 slot is low, and my PSU cables won't reach, that is partially the PSU mfg's fault. Socket 775 is a fading thing, but this is a great board for people who want to go "green" and watch power consumption!
Pros: This ram is killer! It is very flexible in speed. I tested it stable up to 1500mhz with 7-7-7-24 latencies and 1.62v, at 1450mhz it did fine with 1.55v. My mobo tops out in stability at 1800mhz and the memory ~ stayed stable to that point with oem latency and 1.55v. The heatsinks are nice sized and not overly large. The price is incredible!
Overall Review: This is the first set of "good" ram I have purchased in almost two years! Unless you can shell out money for 2ghz speed memory I would not recommend buying anything else!
Pros: The cooler is quiet and works good. The card overclocks easy and stable at 890/1225. I am positive it would go a bit higher, but the fan is really silent at that oc. This is the first g-card in years I have purchased and did not feel the need to remove the oem cooler immediately! Out performs my volt modded 3870 g-card by 60%. Not to mention lower power consumption!
Cons: None for me:
Overall Review: Fairly large, almost as large as my 3870 card was, that could be a problem with some budget builds. Not much of a software bundle, not an issue for me, but is for some people.
This card is a great bang for the buck!
Pros: Overclocks faster than my OCZ gold PC8800 memory. Runs cool. Looks great. Despite the size it was easy to install thanks to the size of the base h.s. I am not done tuning it yet, but looks like it is going to be stable at 1100+mhz and cas 5 on my Blood Iron board. At the current price no other DDR2 is going to touch it.
Cons: The size could be a factor for some people.
Overall Review: Wish I would have bought this first.
Cons: It is tiny, about half as tall as normal ram, and nearly impossible to not touch the chips so it requires extra anti-static precautions. Did not matter the first was DOA and the second caused their pc to not boot. I tried it in my system. Voltage and timings set to its specs.
Stay away from this one!
Overall Review: I bought this for my parents computer and it makes me feel bad I wasted their money. It is not worth sending back a second time we threw it away.
Cons: I have an Intel setup, an e8200 on a Blood Iron mobo. This memory will only boot to 800mhz with any settings I tried.
I tried vdimm settings, latency, everything 800mhz is it :(.
Overall Review: I should have stayed with my Ballistix pc6400 it would do 920 but I wanted a little faster.
Cons: Everything, stay away from this ram until they fix the quality issues. Right now it is a gamble, the old stuff was fantastic.
Overall Review: I just parted from 4x512mb of Ballistix ram that worked great. I purchased the old 2x1gb to replace it and it also worked fine. I also ordered this kit 97432 single sided ram and it does not even post.
Pros: It is cheap, runs cool, does what it should, and runs the full speed of my modem.
Cons: Use of a cordless phone causes it to disconnect, even if the phone rings. Instructions are not very good.
Overall Review: There is no reason to spend more on a router this is by far the cheapest 300mbs and does its job great.
Pros: Even though the headphones are large they are light, they are comfortable for the size. They have pretty accurate sound quality, but not the deepest bass.
Cons: none for the price.
Cons: I purchased this board someplace else on sale. It is the worse board I ever purchased, lacks bios options, does not oc, and the layout is very bad. My 5000+be on a 580x motherboard is faster than this with a Phenom 9600.
Overall Review: The bios is horrible, just like the board layout. If you want a cheap 770 board get the ECS, this one is not work the money.
Pros: Pretty, solid build, well vented.
Cons: No feet under the tower and it is heavy so that makes it hard to grab hold of.
I have used several cases to build computers, this is the worse I have ever encountered for installation. No place for wire management, the motherboard did not line up right. Just a pita, not easy at all.
Pros: This is a simple basic game, I bought it for my father who loved the old Value Soft games. He likes this as well.
Cons: Not my kind of game. Out dated graphics quality, but what you should expect for the price.
Pros: I love these fans! I have 3, they are nearly inaudible. They don't move mass air for the size, but instead move reasonable air silently. It is a good trade off if you want quiet.
Cons: They don't fit my 12cm fan mounting slot. I use them inside my case for circulating air around hot spots, and one for cooling my g-card.
Pros: Great value, performs great for a cheap mobo.
Pros: Good image quality, great quality in movies. Price is great for a 22"
Cons: 1 dead pixel.
Pros: 500 Watt power supply tested very stable, no voltage variations. Not beautiful but better than the photo indicates. Very well ventilated. Reasonably quiet. Easy installation
Cons: A little flimsy, difficult to pop out the drive bay inserts.
Overall Review: Best value for a case/cpu. Wish it had a sata adapter but no big deal since I had one. I will be using this case again for somebody else.
Pros: 65watts, even overclocked it uses less power than my old Brisbane. This processor runs cool and hits 3.15ghz @ 1.375 volts on my KA3 MVP mobo, this processor is a great deal.
Overall Review: If I had a better mobo, an Asus m3a , crosshair, or M2r32 I am sure I could get 3.3-3.4ghz. This processor works great on low performing mobo's making it a serious bang for the buck.
