So Far So Good!
Pros: Nice Packaging
Overall Review: This baby is fast. I haven't had any problems with slow downs or temperature. Running on a Gigabyte B560M Aorus Pro AX. I'm Happy! Should have bought the 2TB version.
Pretty Nice Case!
Pros: Comes with good case fans (Three front RGBs, one rear non RGB). They are quiet and provide good airflow. Can fit a 160mm 850W PSU (Just Barely!) Can fit a large GPU (3070 ti EVGA Ultra) Can accommodate two 140mm fans on the top. Wide enough to accommodate a tall CPU air cooler. USB C!
Cons: I whish the bottom shroud hiding the PSU was removable. The top of case is cramped if you are using a tall air cooled CPU cooler. Some sharp edges. It's a pain to remove the front decorate cover to get access to the magnetic air filter protecting the front three fans. Wish that front cover was easier to remove.
Overall Review: Overall I would recommend this case! I can't say it's way better than a $50-$60 case, I think the sweet spot for this case is around $70 to $80
Very Nice Performance to Price Ratio
Pros: It looks really good, it's quiet, and it keep by i7-11700K cool. I don't overclock so I couldn't tell you how well it performs under those conditions. But for the average user I would say that this performs very nicely. Installation was easy and the instruction manual was good too!
Cons: Can't say I really see a con on this CPU cooler. Buyers should just know what they are buying. If you want a high performance cooler because you are constantly going to be running your CPU at 100% and even overclocking, then maybe look elsewhere. If anything, I would say enermax could of speeded up the fan a little bit. A little more noise for a little better cooling? IDK
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to people who are looking to put together a decent budget build!
Great Memory
Pros: performs at it's rated specs with no problems. Running at 850mhz with 4,4,4,12 timings... So things are good with the memory. Looks good too!! I have it running on a Gigabyte P35 motherboard, there were no compatibility issues.
Cons: COST. There seems to be other PC1066 modules out there for slightly less.
Overall Review: Decent memory overall I am very happy. First time using Gskill, and I'm not disappointed.
GREAT MEMORY!!!
Pros: Operates as rated with 2.5/2.6 volts. Using an Asus A8N-SLI, popped this memory in and the board had no problem recognizing it at it's specified speeds 2-3-2-5 1T.
Cons: Doesn't seem to overclock past 217mhz at stock timings.
Overall Review: I will loosen timings and try to OC. But, we didn't buy this memory for loose timings, so I might just have to settle for rated speeds. Good memory anyway.
Great price, decent overclock
Comments: running 2 sticks of 512mb dual channel at 217/434 mhz with 7-3-3-2.5 and stable. Got some aluminum heatspreaders on them. I could probably push it a little more, but I am okay with the extra I already got out of it! Automatically recognized at 200/400 mhz dual channel! This is a great deal for the price. Beats my old pc3200 samsung mem.
