The best value for center speaker
Pros: Natural voice, sounds great at low and medium volume (did not test it really high). And, yes cannot believe the sound quality we get for under $80.
Cons: The only cons may be that it is not small (but that is why it has good sound) as my old small Acoustic Research speaker.
Overall Review: So if you have 5.1 setup with tiny surround and center speaker (Polk, Bose, AR etc.) this is the first thing to change. Most likely after that the surround setup will have reasonably good sound.
This little card can play GRID
Pros: This card can play GRID in 1680x1050 resolution on a cheap ASUS board with AMD X4 630 2.8 GHz with 4GB memory - no overclocking, using Windows 7 64-bit. It is quiet and all this runs on 350W power supply.
Cons: None if you pay 59 or so bucks.
Overall Review: We tried to see if GRID works with the integrated graphics on the MB and that was a joke. The game was barely working at 800x600 and it was very slow to respond. Amazing how offload to the graphics chip can make cheap PC playing real games. I do not know how it plays other games, but for GRID users, this is a great news!
Really quiet, reliable PSU
Pros: - Quiet, practically a silent PC - Reliable, works for 2 years in web server, no downtime
Cons: None, does not look cool
Overall Review: On this PSU, the fan is 80mm at the back, similar to generic PSUs. I also have 500w Cooler Master extreme with 120mm fan that is turned inside (black case). That model is really noisy, probably some design defect as many people complained. Don't spend extra $, this one is just fine.
