So Quiet :)
Pros: It's installed as an intake fan (after a filter). It's so very quiet even without using the included sound/speed adapters. I looked at it and felt the airflow to make sure it was working!
Cons: So quiet!
Overall Review: I ensured my mobo's temp alarms are enabled and working, which is actually better than my old way of assuming temps were fine because I could hear the fans.
Easy and quick setup!
Pros: Recognized immediately, formatted normally, working seamlessly after several days of use as my dedicated gaming drive. No noticeable change in gaming performance from SATA, but sure is obviously faster when managing files. (Mobo = GA-AX370-Gaming (rev 1); CPU = Ryzen 5 2600, RAM = CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB)
Overall Review: It's exactly what I wanted and expected :)
Good news; bad news
Pros: I bought this wheel because my old legacy FFB wheel finally broke beyond repair. This wheel is exponentially superior: fabulous control, fabulous feedback, fabulous adjustability, not to mention great feel and large diameter. It also has magnetic steering (which claims virtually infinite life) and dual belt ffb (which is super smooth and sensitive). My old wheel was potentiometer steering and geared ffb. T3PA pedals are fabulous, too. It's such a change from my old wheel and pedals, it's taking me awhile to adjust to it, but I absolutely love it. This wheel has great build quality.
Cons: 1) This wheel remains powered whenever our PC is on. I did adjust OS settings to turn off USB when PC is off, but I like to leave our PC on because it's used for so much more than my gaming. So I must unplug power and USB to turn wheel off when using PC for other things. I can't just move it out of the way like the old one. 2) I continue to use a joystick (different brand) coincident with this wheel. Setting up this wheel requires the joystick be disconnected. Learning that was tedious. They do work fine together after setup.
Overall Review: For a dedicated gaming PC, this wheel is fabulous. Because our PC is often used for other things, this wheel is a bit of a pain (connecting and disconnecting).
Pros: very easy to install (physically and fresh OS)
Cons: none yet
Overall Review: This drive is only for my OS and software. My data files remain on several 7200 HDDs. Booting and launching is now very fast, but accessing data files now seems so slow (it's no slower than previously, it just feels slow because the software launches so quickly). Remember to disable/unschedule defragmentation. SSD technology requires a few different approached than HDD - read up and follow directions.
So Quiet :)
Pros: It's so quiet. This PSU replaced a failed one. I can now hear my printer idling (it's louder than my tower). I know the tower is on only because when I type, letters show up on my monitor! I actually looked inside the tower with a flashlight to make sure the fans were spinning. I really like the modular cords; it's my first modular PSU. As I was typing this, my printer went into standby - now I can hear my tower not to mention the ticking wall clock.
Cons: This PSU is so quiet, I'll have to rely solely on the mobo temp alarms to know if something is wrong.
Overall Review: A Noctua NF-P12-1300 fan also replaced a bad case fan. It's super quiet, too.
