Pros: Really it's very good for the price.
Cons: PIXEL DEAD! Only one, but yea burned out within oh you guessed it, Newegg return police timer.
so no what? I gotta go to Samsung?
Also darks / blacks, well not the best quality.
Overall Review: Please, Samsung make this right.
Pros: -Good size for building on.
-Very pleased with the power delivery I am willing to bet I was able to squeeze out lower Vcore about .05 or so because the thing gives such stable voltage.
-So many very nice features
-I don't use wifi, but am very happy it came with it. I plan on using it in future for boosting my signal to my phone. Like hotspot or tethering.
-See other reviews for more pros, there really is a lot.
Cons: -MSI Mystic light really is garbage. It does work though, It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out, and it is working fine.
Overall Review: Overall I am very pleased with the board, it's really a standout.
My build. Waiting on a graphics card. Will upgrade when the market gets a little more favorable.
CPU: i7 8700k OC @ 5.0Ghz (at 1.28 vcore. also could maybe go lower, I only owned this new pc for about 1 month and have been walking the vcore down, but right now I'm happy with the temps so kinda not worried about it.)
Motherboard: Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC
Cooler: Masterliquid Lite 240 (max peak temps were about 83c with idle at around 27c with normal gaming temps around 45 to 65 or 70.)
Memory: G. Skillz F4-3200C16D-16GTZR 16GB CL:16-18-18-38 1.35v
GPU: AMD R9 290 4GB, OC @ GPU: 1000MHz Mem: 1300MHz
Storage: 850 Evo 500GB, 970 Evo 500GB PCIe 3.0 x4 (NVMe)
Pros: -Power to Price ratio is almost unmatched.
-Not loud, to me at least. No more so than any other fan in the machine.
-3 fan cooler
-runs cool under max load and for extended periods.
-heavy, she is a heavy beast which always makes me feel cool when holding hardware :D
Cons: -huge, this bad boy is super large. I had to remove hard drive expansion hub or bay. It was my first time, but it was not too difficult.
I have a HAF cooler master case. I am not sure what model. But make sure this thing will fit.
-rebates are a hassle, but do work.
Overall Review: This much power doesn't come cheap on the green team. I have always been red team fan boy. So I found another quality card for a great price.
I picked this card up for GTA5, and other games. I have an older cpu but still very powerful 2500k @ 3.7. I am running gta at about 90% ultra settings @ 1080p and get 45 to 110 frames. average 80 fps the msaa is off and the 2 bars, extended view and draw or something is only half way to the top.
no problems with heat, no problems with anything.
i had to get a power supply. and let me tell you that is not fun to replace. i was scared, but took pictures of the wiring and didn't have a problem if you just go slow and understand that it takes time and now power to yank those old wires out. with power supply, gpu and harddrive bay removal(for space) install was about 3 hours. first time.
good luck and dont second think buying this great card. i have no regrets and it felt great to see the power light come on once i was done.
