Pros: It's cheap
it keeps my 105W CPU running at 65 or less, it would probably do better if I had a better case.
Cons: it feels really cheap, but... i dont care.
Overall Review: I like it, even if it doesnt look/feel premium. it's low cost and effectiveness outweigh any cosmetic complaints.
Pros: Quiet, powers system, no complaints
Cons: It was listed and sold as new, but it came wrapped in bubble wrap in the brown shipping box. that's it. No paperwork, no manufacturer packaging. I was worried, but tested it with PSU tester before installing and made sure all voltages were correct. A month later, and it's been working flawlessly without a hitch.
Overall Review: Aside from my initial concern over the awful packaging job looking like an -online auction retailer- purchase, this budget friendly cpu has been running my system with a Ryzen 7 2700x and a radeon Rx580 wide open with no hiccups. I'm happy.
Pros: -Low price
-includes 3x 120mm case fans (1 front LED, 1 rear, 1 side panel LED)
-Spacious, easy to install all the components
Cons: -Rear case fan is 120mm, but the grill is only 80mm, so the airflow sucks even with a better fan than stock.
-Case is made of extremely thin cheap stamped sheet metal, and bends extremely easily.
-Front panel audio jacks arent labeled
-Front panel USB 3.0 port is flaky, unreliable when it works at all.
-Front panel cutout for optical drive looks bad, since the face is curved and the drive is not.
Overall Review: It's a good extreme budget pc build, with better fans I can play games and maintain stable temps around 65C on CPU and 75C on GPU, but the airflow could be better with a second front panel fan and a bigger rear fan grill. The quality is low but it does the job. I won't keep it long, however.
Pros: Very good Ram. Installed in my computer (Athlon 64 X2 Dell), now running in dual channel mode with 4 gigs, under vista 32bit. Vista recognizes all of it, and allocates roughly 1 gig to video, the rest to the system. Works really well, no problems whatsoever, has dramatically increased the performance of the games I play.
Cons: None that I can find.
Overall Review: Newegg shipped this really fast, as usual. Another happy customer!
Pros: SATA, 160GB, quiet, fast.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: The drive is hooked up in a swap-bay, so it should be easier to hear than a fully internal hard drive, but it is so quiet I can barely hear it accessing. It's fairly fast, as far as HDDs go. Good price, good brand, decent storage capacity. I'm happy.
Pros: Works as it should, drives are swappable easily, locked with a key so they cannot be removed by the wrong hands, and the fan cools it fairly well.
Cons: The tray does not fit in the rack very well....it slides in ok, but when you try to lock the lever down, it doesnt sit all the way, which makes it hard to lock sometimes. The materials are obviously cheap, the cover on the tray doesnt really latch in place, so if you're not careful it can slide off.
Overall Review: Overall, for the price, it's a great buy. It works pretty well, and does what it's supposed to do. I do not use it for backup, I have a "gaming" hard drive, and a "family/bill-pay" hard drive, so it suits me well. The only real difference in the 811, 812, and 813, is the number of fans. all only have 1 fan in the rack, with extra fans in the front of the tray. Being that a hard drive would normally have NO cooling, I didnt consider it a necessary thing. All in all, it's a decent product, does a decent job, and it has a good price. If you want top quality though, look elsewhere.
