Pros: Looks nice, basic machine. Metal case feels sturdy.
Cons: Broke after only a few uses. I hemmed a few curtains, repaired a pillow case that ripped, and was sewing together a new pillow case when I smelled burning, and then it stopped working. Singer wants me to pay for shipping and labor to get it fixed, which will be over $100. They do not stand behind their products and make their new machines out of cheap parts that don't last. Don't be fooled by the metal exterior, the internals are all cheap.
Pros: Fast, fit perfectly, used the spacer
Overall Review: I have a 5 year old laptop that I'm trying to get a few more years out of. This SSD did the trick and now, combined with a memory upgrade, it flies. I needed the spacer it came with, and was glad that came with it.
Photoshop starts very quickly, and boot times are also very fast.
Pros: Works as advertised
Overall Review: Windows 7 will easily try to use 4 gigs of memory on a clean install with just web browsing in Chrome. Bringing my system up to 8 gigs has really improved speed.
Overall Review: Bought this to help creative suite and my old White unibody mac run better. Works great.
Pros: Tiny, durable feeling, fits on a keyring. I love it. Fast transfer speeds on USB 2.0 even.
Cons: None that I can think of... It could be too small for someone who doesn't have a key ring to pull it out easily with, because it does fit snug into the port.
Overall Review: I have only tested it on a USB 2.0 port - I had a write speed of 17 - 26 MB/second with a 200MB video file transfer.
My old 4GB USB 2.0 drive only transferred the same file at 9-11 MB/second with the same video file... So even people on USB 2.0 may see a big increase in transfer speeds.
Pros: Were good at first (after rebates and everything), but at MSRP, there are better available.
Cons: Bass cant take too much or it gets clunky.
Overall Review: Left speaker started getting staticy and crackley after about 1 month.
I knew I took a gamble ordering from this brand that has never made speakers before... Now after only 2 months they are dieing and must be returned...
I cant believe how many other reviewers have had this problem too. I'd stay away.
Pros: Perfect level and color of back lighting. It is very gentle. I've seen some other cheaper back-lit keyboards where the light seems harsh, especially when it is very dark. Adjustable brightness levels are great too.
Keys are all standard, no surprises like tiny backspace or shift keys. Except see my con about the capslock key below.
Has a nice feel, not too crunchy, not too mushy. The palmrest built in is not intrusive, it is very comfortable.
Button for calculator! I love it when keyboards have a calculator button and this one has it!
Cons: The capslock key doesnt have a drop-off before the a so I've been sometimes hitting it instead of A, but im getting used to it.
Overall Review: Have not used any of the macro functions yet, but I am very impressed with how well this keyboard has been functioning so far.
*Very Bright - Had to turn it down to 75% because its soooo bright.
*HDMI Input availible
*No Dead Pixels
Cons: *It is somewhat wobbly on it's base, but its not a problem with the base, its a problem with the hinge. I mean this thing goes weight 24lbs and it has a pretty small hinge... but on a solid desk it's not really a real problem.
Overall Review: I am very satisfied with this monitor. on my old 22" monitor I had the brightness and contrast to 100% (Since day 1), this things rated brightness and contrast is more than double and it's nice that I can turn it DOWN to get the best level. Means its a lot more future proof than something that comes dimm from the factory. I'm planning on having this thing for at least 5 years and so far it seems like it should be able to do the job well.
Pros: Good size, fits on keychain well, feels nice and solid
Cons: The slider tab breaks off so you have to stick your thumb nail into the crack to slide the USB connector out...
Overall Review: Read some of the other reviews, i guess this happens to a lot of people (the tab breaking off), unfortunately I lost the tab so I cant put it back on. It makes retracting and extending the USB connector very annoying!
I do not recommend this particular USB flash drive to anyone because of the tab issue.
Pros: Very Small
Water proof / Beach, skiing, pool, dirt, dust Friendly
Fast Start Up
60FPS mode is good for action shots.
Cons: Image sensor is tiny, limiting low light capabilities. If they had just made it even a 1/4" sensor rather than a 1/6" the quality would be so much better!
Digital Image Stabilizer is barely better than no image stabilizer. I wish they would have an optical stabilizer.
Overall Review: Focusing is a little slow, setting it to "spot focus" improves performance.
All in all I am happy with the camera. I know that the ocean spray, dust, and moisture from the conditions I need a camera for would destroy a "regular" camera after a year of use.
If you are SERIOUS about image quality, this is a good second camera for out-doorsey stuff where a regular camera could easily get damaged.
If you want to document fun stuff and throw it on youtube or share it online, this quality is just fine.
I would gladly pay $200-$300 more for a version with a larger sensor and optical image stabilizer... but nothing else is available.
Pros: Just as fast as my smaller 200GB SATA drives, runs vista OS fine. Small cache hasnt affected performance at all. Vista experience index still rates it the exact same as my other drives.
Cons: Its a little noisey. You can definitely hear this thing when it is active. Its a little thumpy. My other drives are completely silent.
Overall Review: Seems like a great drive... 4 eggs because its noisier than my seagate and western digital. My dads samsung is just as noisey.
Pros: We used this scanner on the job today for the first time, we scanned about 3000 documents without a single jam. Its fast, quiet and the VRS software that integrates into windows explorer is really easy to use. No problems installing on vista machines. Flawless. I love fujitsu & newegg
Cons: need a faster computer!
Overall Review: During every batch, after about 15-20 documents have been passed through, we started to get lags, where it would take closer to 2 seconds a page. We are assuming this is actually our computers fault trying to de-skew, de-speckle, and enhance all these images at the same time and the computer gets bogged down. After the batch is done, the computer chuggs along for another 20 seconds preparing the data. (Turion 64 X2 1.8 Ghz, 2 gigs memory, geforece 6150 graphics)... So we assume we need a more powerful computer & especially graphics card, and the computer is the bottle neck of the operation. Im blaming most of it on the graphics because our other server (Athlon X2 5000, 2 gigs, ATI 2100) also chugged, that processor isnt exactly slow, so I assume a lot of the hassle gets thrown to the graphics chip. These being integrated cards didn't handle it that well, We'll have to try cranking up their memory i guess for now.
Pros: Water proof to 30 feet, most are only 10 feet, that could break in a swimming pool, snorkeling would be dangerous. This camera give a lot of room for depth judgment. Focuses and takes pictures very fast. Small and compact very sturdy
Cons: wish it floated lol, wouldnt want to drop it snorkeling or something, probably attach a boat key float or something to the wrist strap
Overall Review: Tested this in the pool the first day, it was awesome.
Pros: great features built in, DVI is awesome, 4 ram slots is a plus in this price range
Cons: Board is not very stable with Windows Server 2008 as of this date. I frequently get into the office in the morning to find that the server has blue-screened itself, and "recovered from a serious error". Windows has attributed the problem to the realtek network adapter and says "there are known compatibility problems with this device". Windows Server 2008 install process takes 3 times longer than on my older nforce 4 board (running athlon 64 3200+) for some reason. The motherboard RAID does not work well with Server 2008 either, and has randomly failed multiple times when in raid 1, yet with out raid is much more stable, besides the network card problem.
Overall Review: I do not recommend this board for windows server 2008, that's the only reason why it has received 4 stars from me. Other people running vista and XP seem to be having much better luck with it. There are no individual drivers for any of its components that are dedicated to Windows Server 2008, which is the problem. If you are going to be running that OS, buy a board from the "server motherboard" section of this web site. I learned the hard way.
Pros: cheap space
Cons: get pretty toasty, Ordered two, One failed after a week.
Overall Review: these drives run almost too warm to keep my hands on, both the top and bottom of the drive. If you have these, make sure you have a Case Fan right next to the drives to push air over them or they may have problems. I'm getting samsung drives next time.
Pros: The graphics and DVI-inclusion is a nice bonus, 4 Ram slots and PCI-express 1x and 16x is rare for a board in this price range. Minor overclocking abilities.. although wont be used, will be cool for some
Cons: smart fan controls in the bios are anything but intuitive and if not set the CPU will run at full speed 24/7. During startup, RAID takes about 10 seconds to scan drives which is slightly annoying, but the RAID works good.
Overall Review: solid board that i feel is the best in this price range.
Pros: For the price it doesnt get much better than this, intel's similarly priced processors don't support virtualization and arnt as fast.
Cons: not wicked fast... but for the price its relatively fast
Overall Review: I'm using this in one of my low-end SharePoint server farm servers. It gets the job done (windows server 2008 AD DNS IIS MOSS), but it still a little laggy. My budget was extremely tight, but if i had an extra two-hundred bucks for the system I would have gone server-rated quad core.
Pros: very quiet, work great
Overall Review: don't know how they will work in the long term, but out of box they are very silent and work fine.
Pros: 2 gigs on 1 stick very cheap!
Cons: may not be pretty enough for those with a window on their case
Overall Review: I'm using these in a low-end SharePoint server farm configuration. Density of one stick means i have a lot of upgrade room.
Pros: Looks sharp and clean, doesn't look cheap. It's light weight, comes with a nice fan and air filters. The black is very black and looks professional in our office environment. The duct allows a direct path of cool air to reach the processor. The air-Filters means that the processor heat sync will stay clean for a much longer time than it would without one.
Cons: Instructions could be a little better some of it, but its not too difficult to figure out.
Overall Review: We are testing this case for our upcoming server farm. We cant afford blade servers, nor do we need the density of blades. This case is very attractive light weight in case we have to move it around. Even though it is light, it doesn't feel cheap. The paint on the metal is rugged and looks very scratch resistant.. It actually resembles bed liner but still looks very sharp. Front USB and audio is a nice touch.
Pros: Works great, has the user management, advanced networking, and remote desktop settings that i need for business.
Overall Review: As for the other reviewer, all vista systems are the same, the CD-key you enter during install just activates certain features which separates the OS classes. Your game crashing is your fault, not he OS's as they are all the same.
Pros: works great
Overall Review: newegg took 4 business days before shipping, unusually bad service.
Pros: Runs cool at 40c idle, gets up to 56 under full load, can take anything i throw at it, vista loads really fast.
Overall Review: great processor
Pros: Red is very red, not pink
Cons: when plugged into molex or non-speed controlled socket, very loud.
Overall Review: When used in a fan speed controller and set to 50% it is pretty quiet and still moves a good amount of air.
Pros: Looks very sharp, magnetically held front door, very quiet fans, keeps everything very cool.
Cons: Side door is a little tricky to get on and off at some times.
Overall Review: Great case, I added a 120mm fan to the front near the hard drives to pull more air into the case. My phenom 9850, and 7600GT stay very cool.
