can be a loud case

IN WIN BUC 101 Black SEEC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
IN WIN BUC 101 Black SEEC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: like the looks like the size external sata on the top is great

Cons: if you are running a high/semi-high end system (i have a 2600k with evga cooler, not currently overclocked and 2x evga 570s in sli, xfx 1kw 80platinum ps) this case tends to be noisy, especially under load...the exact same equipment in a storm sniper is much quieter replaced all of the fans with the orange cougars and its still too noisy for my liking...when i play wow it gets very loud...basically, the case doesnt have the greatest air circulation properties, and the fans are fighting for air all of the time, making it get loud not the greatest cable routing options, lack of space (ive used far worse, but ive also had much better)

Overall Review: i like this case, and am working on ways to quiet it down because i really want to keep it...im sure if you have a lower to midrange setup then noise wont be nearly as big of an issue because the required air circulation isnt needed by the components, but if you load this with hot gear it is definitely going to be on the noisy side

SONY VAIO W Series VPCW111XX/W White Intel Atom N280(1.66 GHz) 10.1" 1GB Memory 160GB HDD Netbook

Pros: Good build quality Very nice looking Beautiful screen Decent performance Easy HD and memory upgrades

Cons: Horrible battery life Expensive Some heat

Overall Review: I really like this computer, except for the stinking battery. Luckily for me, I didn't buy this item at Newegg. I bought it at Best Buy (a rarity for me, but it was on sale, so cut me some slack), and have had to return two of them so far. The reason, terrible battery life. The one I have now is exactly the same. I don't even get two hours out of the thing. Heck, it discharges when not used, and these are supposed to be lithium batteries. I will leave it sitting with a full charge and come back three days later to half full batteries. I don't really know what to think about it. Maybe I got mine (remember, 3 so far) from a bad batch? I don't know. I will be contacting Sony about it soon enough, so we will see. I just thought I would put in my two cents, since this is a pretty ridiculous problem to have with a freaking expensive netbook like this.

Best Case Ever

CM Storm Sniper - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case with Fan Controller and LED Light Switch
CM Storm Sniper - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case with Fan Controller and LED Light Switch

Pros: The best case I have owned to this day. I have been doing this stuff for 15+ years and never owned a case I liked this much. Looks nice, will hold basically anything you want to put in it, VERY well laid out with lots of room for cable routing, etc. and everything is accessible, well thought out and easy to use. I really love this case.

Cons: The only real con is the cheap plastic clips used to hold in expansion cards. I am using screws on some heavier cards to hold them in place. Not the end of the world, and not enough to remove an egg over. Also has stupid blue lights but you have a button to turn them off so not really a con.

Overall Review: I replaced a year old Stacker 830 NVidia edition with one of these. That's how much I like it. Now I just have to find someone to sell the Stacker to.

EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: nice card...good quality...fairly quiet...have two in sli with no complaints so far

Cons: expensive

good card

ATI 100-435058 Radeon 9800PRO 256MB 256-bit DDR AGP 2X/4X MAC Edition Video Card
ATI 100-435058 Radeon 9800PRO 256MB 256-bit DDR AGP 2X/4X MAC Edition Video Card

Pros: good card with good performance in photoshop and illustrator, and in video editing...works in both a g4 and g5...i like it

Cons: the fan is loud(ish) so i changed it to a zalman fan, and its basicly silent now (though that was an extra $35)

Overall Review: got first card and it was DOA (it happens, i know)...would have given it a 5 if it werent for that

good for second monitor

PowerColor Radeon 9250 256MB DDR PCI Graphics Card R92P-LD3
PowerColor Radeon 9250 256MB DDR PCI Graphics Card R92P-LD3

Pros: good card with no fan (gotta love silent equipment)...running an sli system and since nvidia is ignorant and wont allow multiple monitors with sli i had to go ati for my second (and soon to be third) monitors...works great...good response and good picture...

Cons: biggest complaint i have is that this card wont allow any manipulation of the color saturation (to try and match my nvidia card's digital vibrance setting)...really doesnt matter unless im in photoshop or illustrator, at which time i just disable the digital vibrance so the two monitors color settings are closer...if it wasnt for this limitation i would have given a 5
